Chapter 208 – A New Day

Chapter 208: A New Day

After taking a bath, Aakesh came down the stairs. It was time for him to open the store.

After opening the store, he noticed a crowd even larger than yesterday waiting outside. He couldn't help but feel a headache coming his way since there were 173 people standing at the door and crowding his front.

Since they came this early in the morning, more than half of the number belonged to those who wanted to enter Panagea.

Seeing the crowd, he came up with an idea to get the first group of 50 adventurers. He asked the system about it. The system told him not to do it, but Aakesh still decided to do it.

It all happened in less than a split second, so the crown didn't even know Aakesh had already created a competition for them without them knowing about it.

The next moment, he moved out of the way and the crowd pushed their entry through the door. The door of the store may look like it won't be able to handle an influx of so many customers at the same time, but in reality, it didn't matter. Even if the number exceeded a million, they could still enter the store at the same time.

Soon, the first fifty customers that entered the store got covered in blue light. Everyone, including themselves, was unaware of what this blue light signified. But the next moment, most of them understood since there were only fifty of them surrounded by light, and there were 50 virtual portals in the store.

The next moment, they got their confirmation as Aakesh announced, "The fifty customers that had gotten surrounded by the blue light would be the first group to enter Panagea."

"Damn, it's all because of you," One man cursed his friend. They were one of the first to arrive, but somehow, they got pushed away during the waiting.

The friend could only smile wryly, seeing his friend getting angry.

"Okay, pay and enter the Panagea," Aakesh ignored the reaction of the other customers and ordered the first fifty.

Those who had cards on them directly left for the portal room. Seeing a group leaving directly without paying, the group, unaware of the cards, asked Aakesh about it.

Aakesh then explained about the cards to them. Hearing about the benefits of the cards, several of them bought one. One customer even asked for a supreme card.

There were still six customers who couldn't afford any one of the cards, so they left after paying for their entry into Panagea.

Several other customers scoffed, seeing those six customers unable to pay for even a top card and still getting the entry into Panagea.

Some of the customers who were left decided to wait for their turn inside the store, while some of them left since they had many things to do.

Some of the customers left for the weapons room, and those who came for the first time in the store today began talking to Aakesh about the products of the store.

Time flew by, and an hour passed. During the last hour, several regular customers of the store came. It even included Pento, but seeing the store filled to the brim, he left.

Aakesh didn't care about him, so he ignored his actions. Eris and Robert had also arrived, and since there were still a few portals for the second group left, they decided to wait in the store for six hours.

Only in an hour, Aakesh got enough customers waiting in his store to fill the quota of 700 Panagea hours a day. Only three portals were left vacant for the last group that got only three hours of play.

Since Robert and Eris were one of the winners of the last event, they began conversing with each other. During their conversation, the topic of Gods & Demons level training appeared.

At first, Eris didn't feel much interested in the training area since he had been at the peak of the Primal dimension for countless years, but when he sensed the energy in Robert, his face turned solemn.

When Eris had met Robert for the first time in the winning ceremony, he was confident of killing him in a single strike even without using his full power. But now, he was still confident of killing Robert in a single strike, but for that, he needed to use his strongest attack, and he also felt danger from something Robert had.

"Heheā€¦, Did you sense it? Even that old Elf failed to sense it?" Robert laughingly asked Eris.

Robert didn't know the identity of Eris, but he was confident that Eris was one of the strongest beings he had ever come across. He found Eris's power on the level of the Hygars.

"How did you get it?" Eris's reaction was the exact opposite of Robert's.

"I already told you. It's one of the benefits I received from the Gods & Demons level training area," Robert commented, shrugging his shoulders. Since there was no point in hiding about it in the store, he thought to tell Eris himself and make good relations with him.

Eris not only was one of the strongest beings Robert had ever seen, but he was also the owner of the largest territory inside the Panagea of all the adventurers. He only had a protection period of one year, whereas Eris had a protection period of ten years.

After giving rewards, Aakesh had told the three participants that retaining the territory inside Panagea was going to be several folds tougher than winning it. He also told Robert and Maria on their faces that if they didn't come across a treasure of a very high level, they would lose their territory the moment their protection period ended.

Only Eris had a minimal chance to retain his territory after the end of the protection period, and that too because his territory would have the weakest Kingdom on their door out of the three territories.

As compared to the benefits Eris would receive from his territory, the privileges Robert and Maria received seemed like dirt. Even if he failed to retain his territory after ten years, he still would have gotten enough resources to create one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension.

If someone else declared that only in ten years, a being could create one of the top organizations of the dimension from a territory that doesn't exist in reality, the people would've termed that man insane and idiot and would laugh at the foolishness. But it was Aakesh who declared it, so the doubt of it being a lie didn't even emerge for a moment inside their heads.

From Eris, Robert could sense that he had not much interest in creating any kind of organization and only had a casual attitude toward the resources of the territory. Robert, on the other side, came to the event with a purpose.

He had sensed that the last day of the event would completely change his destiny. He had already benefited from that divination by growing several folds stronger in a single hour. But Robert could still sense that the best for him was yet to come.

The growth he had yesterday was only a minor benefit he will have from the store and the Panagea in the future.

So for Robert, making good relations with Eris was a significant issue. Even if he lost his territory after a year, if he had good relations with Eris, Robert would still have something to hold on.

Eris knew what was going through Robert's mind.. He would even help him if Robert proved to be worthy of his friend.
