Chapter 212 – Level Stone
Chapter 212: Level Stone
Time flew by, and hours passed.
The six hours stay of the first group in Panagea was over, so the system forced them out.
After the first group got out, Aakesh ordered the next group of 50 customers to enter the portal room.
One customer in the third group bought a spot from the customer of the second group, unaware of its consequences. Aakesh wasn't aware of the conversations happening inside the store, but the system was. So before the man could enter, the system told Aakesh about the illegal purchase of the slot.
The next moment, Aakesh waved his hands, and both the seller and the buyer got knocked outside, blacklisted for life. If any one of them tried to enter the store from this moment on, an invisible pressure would throw them out without even Aakesh knowing about it.
Aakesh then snapped his fingers, and the next moment, a new rule appeared on the rule board, "Only the store is the seller! If any customer tries to buy their slots, pills, or any store product inside the store, they will get blacklisted for life!"
Both the men had pale faces after getting knocked out of the store, and one of them even tried to enter the store, but the next moment, a force stronger than the last threw him several meters away. Both the men left from there right away. Neither Aakesh nor the customers had any interest in them, so they ignored it and continued their wait.
Since one spot in the second group had gotten vacant, the first person in the third group got it, while one other customer who was leaving after buying the pill got the spot in the third group of fifty.
"Did you complete the quest?" Evelyn asked Maria after both of them appeared inside the store from Panagea.
"No, It'll take two to three days," Maria responded with a disappointed sigh.
"Did the Dwarves attack you?" Evelyn asked, seeing Maria so disappointed.
Maria shook her head in refusal and then began sharing her experience of today with Evelyn.
After entering the Panagea, Maria spawned in the same place she had left yesterday.
She didn't check the town's status and began her journey to the Dwarven camp, unaware that a new dangerous place had emerged on her way to the Dwarven settlement.
After giving the winners their rewards, Aakesh had warned them that there might be changes in some dangerous locations every day.
Since the inhabitants of Panagea had the same wisdom, if not more than the people of the Primal dimension, they also acted as the situation demanded.
So, yesterday, a Level 248 creature massacred an entire low-level settlement not far from them and cleared a few dangerous locations around it.
Creatures belonging to the dangerous area not far from the massacred settlement escaped and created a new light red location on the map of Atunbi.
Unaware of the scenes yesterday, Maria hurried to the Dwarven settlement as she wanted to clear the mission as soon as possible.
Since Dwarves lived underground, they rarely escaped, so Maria didn't think of checking the town status.
A few miles away from the Dwarven settlement, Maria finally came across the creatures who had escaped yesterday from the massacre.
The creatures she had come across belonged to a low-level race called Ograun. They were tall, had fearsome muscles, and had hairless bodies.
The leader of the Ograun was only a Level 25 being, and the majority of the common Ograuns were only around Level 1-15, but for Maria, even killing them was a herculean task since she was only Level 3.
Even though Maria was the owner of the land they were standing on, the Ograuns didn't care. Seeing someone weaker than them made them excited since they wanted to vent their frustrations of yesterday.
Before Maria could think of a way to escape, the Ograuns roared and savagely rushed at her.
In no time, Maria got surrounded, and a few moments later, the Ograuns snapped her in half and killed her.
The next moment, Maria spawned in the resting area. She would need to stay here for thirty seconds, and then she would return to the battlefield. Thinking about what happened with her only a moment earlier made her shudder in fear. She didn't want to face the same thing again.
As if the system was waiting for her to think, a blue screen appeared in front of her.
{Return to the center hut!
Spawn back to the place you died!}
There were two options on the screen. Without even thinking for a moment, Maria tapped on, 'Return to the center hut!'
The next moment, the screen disappeared, and a mechanical alert rang inside her head, "Returning in 25 seconds!"
She couldn't help but grit her teeth in frustration, thinking about dying to low-level again.
"I need to complete the quest fast, or I would stay low-level for a long time," She muttered as she had nothing to do except wait.
Since she had chosen to complete the organization quest first, she couldn't level up like other adventurers.
As the ruler of the territories, they could level up by clearing the dangerous locations from their territories or by gaining the resources from the area.
Level stones were available in the territory, which directly raised the adventurer's level, depending on their value.
After thirty seconds of resting time was over, Maria spawned back to the center hut. She heaved a sigh of relief, finding her in a safe area.
After spawning, Maria didn't rush right away and instead called out the map of the territory inside her mind.
The next moment, the whole map appeared in front of her. She noticed that the number of red locations had decreased by seven.
She found the location of the Dwarven settlement on the map and began creating a new and safer route for her journey.
After she remembered the route and directions, she left the hut and hurried.
She had to reach the dwarven settlement today since she would need to create an alternate route if another dangerous location appeared after today.
Time flew by. She reached the Dwarven settlement twenty minutes before the end of six hours.
Similar to the creatures of dangerous locations, the people from the settlement knew the ruler of their territory. However, unlike them, they wouldn't try to kill the ruler without listening to them.
The case for the Dwarves was completely different. They didn't even come out to meet her despite Maria standing there for a few minutes.
"I want to meet the leader," She called out for the umpteenth time in the language of Dwarves. There was a hint of majesty in her voice since this was the effect of her being the ruler.
A ruler of the territory also had the privilege to be able to talk or understand the language of the races that lived inside their ruled area, making a first good impression on the settlers. The effect only stayed inside the Panagea, so after getting out, they would forget that language.
Only a few minutes were left before her stay in Panagea for today was over, so Maria needed to enter their settlement early.
"I'm here to make a deal with your leader about the iron mine-"
Maria's voice suddenly came to a halt as after hearing the deal about iron mine, the ground around her shook a little.
The next moment, a gate on the ground appeared.. Soon, the door opened, and a Dwarf stepped out of it.
