Chapter 221: Misunderstandings
Many in the store noticed the sudden change of reaction in the Hygar when she saw the winner of the largest territory in Panagea.
"What happened, mother?" The boy asked with a concerning tone since it was the first time he had seen her mother ignoring him and instead focusing on someone else.
The boy also glanced at Eris, but as a child, he couldn't determine his race. Even if he did, he wouldn't have known the reason behind his mother's actions since she still hadn't told her about the issue between the Hygars and the Titans. She didn't want her son to hate some strangers because they loved to rule, only when he was a child.
Aakesh also noticed the sudden tense atmosphere inside the store due to Eris and the Hygar woman. He expressionlessly glanced at Eris since he was the first to create an energy shield around him.
Seeing the expressionless stare of Aakesh, Eris remembered he wasn't in some random area. He was inside the store that could even give Absolute Stones.
His body returned to calm, and the energy shield around it disappeared.
"Eh!" The Hygar woman exclaimed in surprise when she noticed just by a single stare of the blue-skinned man the Titan took back his protection.
Before she could think of a reason, the emotionless stare came at her, and she felt a chill run down her neck.
She felt as if some dangerous beast looked at her, and if she didn't do what the beast wanted, she would become its prey.
She tried to release energy to make the sudden fear effect disappear, but instead of the effect disappearing, the energy shield around her began disintegrating. In no time at all, the system removed the protection around her.
The Hygar believed it to be the blue-skinned man, so she moved her eyes away as even looking at him felt uncomfortable for her.
Not even a single second had passed since Eris let go of the energy shield, and the system stripped the Hygar of its protection.
Eris felt uncomfortable standing here, so he teleported from the store after a moment since he had a supreme card.
The Hygar had already forgotten about him when she faced the stare of Aakesh, so she ignored the teleportation of Eris.
"Who are you?" The Hygar asked Aakesh.
It was the first time in her life of twenty million years that she had faced something like this. When that stare had happened, she had felt that if she tried to resist the invisible force, she would lose her life here.
Since the fight didn't erupt between Eris and the Hygar, Aakesh didn't have to take action and kill someone way stronger in power with the help of the system. The cold and emotionless look in his eyes disappeared, and instead, it returned to the expressionless look.
"I am Aakesh. The store owner," Aakesh expressionlessly replied. Because Hygar could be a potential customer and she hadn't broken any rules, he didn't force her out of the store and answered her questions.
"A store owner!" She exclaimed in surprise. She had heard about the antics of the strong to pass their time by enacting different professions, but she never expected a strong being like Aakesh to act as a store owner in this barren place.
Since it was time for the last group of the day to enter Panagea, only the sound of their footsteps remained in the store. Aakesh didn't respond, and the Hygar didn't know what to say.
"Are you alright, mother?"
A childlike voice rang and broke the silence.
The Hygar finally remembered her primary purpose of coming here. She glared at her son and sent him a mental message that she would talk to him when they returned to their house.
The boy couldn't help but shudder, thinking about the punishment his mother would give him.
"What do you sell in this store?" She asked Aakesh since she didn't want to leave the store after making a wrong impression on someone who had the power to kill her.
"Pills, weapons, training…..,"
Aakesh began telling the list of products sold by the store and their details.
When she heard about the prices of the Gods & Demons level training area, she thought Aakesh was punishing her for her previous actions by charging her an outrageous amount.
Except for Panagea and the training area, there was nothing available for her level. There was no vacant portal left in the portal room, so she couldn't see the world of Panagea for herself.
Since she wanted to leave a good impression on Aakesh and make him forget about whatever happened here, she needed to buy one product. Only the training area was left, but if she didn't select the most expensive, maybe the store owner would still hold a grudge against her. Thinking like this, she decided to buy an hour of training in the Gods & Demons level training area.
Since her son was a Tao Seed level cultivator and could use King level weapons, she decided to let him also train in the Gods & Demons level training area.
If Aakesh knew what the Hygar was thinking, he would only laugh. He wouldn't correct her since he not only would get 10 billion supreme Primal stones in commission, he would also get a step closer to completing his quest.
After making the decision, she told Aakesh about it.
Her training would cost one trillion supreme Primal stones, while her son's training would cost hundred supreme Primal stones.
She belonged to the top race of the Primal dimension, so this wasn't a big amount for her. She only thought before making the decision because she believed that Aakesh was punishing her by charging outrageous prices.
Since the amount required to pay was a very large sum, a giant mountain of supreme Primal stones appeared in the store.
The few customers who were still left inside the store sucked the cold breath in the air, seeing so many stones.
One of the customers couldn't control himself, and his eyes turned red in greed seeing the mountain of supreme Primal stones. Unfortunately for him, trying to steal something belonging to the store had no second chance.
His body, like a shell, crashed on the floor, and the next moment it disintegrated into nothingness, making the other customers learn the horror of the store.
