Chapter 337: Tristan(End)
"Thud!"
Tristan, with a lot of struggle, finally stood up. He then suddenly stumbled and crashed on the ground with a loud sound, bringing another round of pain.
Shuang, who he had thought, he had killed, suddenly appeared in front of him.
Unlike the last time, she was neither naked nor did she have a mask to hide her beautiful face.
Tristan, who had just sacrificed his future generation to survive, lost his mind for a moment, seeing the face of Shuang.
He could swear that he had never seen anyone that could beat Shuang in her looks.
"Haha!" Shuang laughed, seeing the expressions on Tristan's half-burnt face. She then extended one of her hands to help Tristan stand up.
Tristan subconsciously grabbed her hand using his uninjured hand.
Shuang, smilingly, picked up Tristan.
"Marry me!" Tristan blurted the first thing that came to his mind at that moment.
"How will you satisfy me?" Shuang smilingly responded right away and pointed at his lower waist.
"Uh-" Tristan suddenly found him stumped as he had himself done this to save him. His face couldn't help but turn grave as how could someone who had just survived think about marrying someone.
But as soon as that grave expression had appeared, it disappeared, and a joyous expression took its place.
"I'll find a solution," He answered Shuang as if he had already thought of what he wanted to do.
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you," Shuang smilingly responded and gently poked the burnt portion of Tristan's face.
"Ugh!" Tristan groaned in pain, but he didn't stop Shuang.
"Are you telling the truth? You'll be waiting for me?" Tristan responded with his voice reaching a higher notch as if he had gained something very valuable.
"Why would I lie to you?" Shuang answered. Her beautiful face still retained that smile. Her fingers then caressed his half-burnt face.
Tristan, in response, closed his only working eye. Even though it felt painful, he was enjoying her touch.
At that moment, even the tiny concern he had for his survival disappeared from his heart. What took its place was his love for Shuang.
"Now go and find the solution. I'll be waiting for you," Shuang told Tristan and gently pushed him.
"Yes…yes, just wait for me," Tristan repeatedly nodded despite an intense pain attacking him. He then left the area, but even after only walking a few meters, he had turned his head back to look at Shuang several times.
Shuang waved her hands as if she was saying bye to Tristan. Tristan, in response, also waved back with both of his hands, unaware that charred pieces of his burnt hands were falling.
When Tristan completely disappeared from Shuang's sight, a change occurred.
"Why did you let him go?" A man out of nowhere appeared next to Shuang and asked her. His voice cold enough to freeze someone even in summer.
"Oh, elder brother, you're here," Shuang, instead of answering the man greeted him.
The man known as the elder brother didn't mind his sister not answering his question and told her to return with him since she didn't need to sacrifice anymore.
Shuang only nodded in response to her brother. Before leaving, she took a glance in the direction Tristan had gone. The smile she had on his face turned into a malevolent grin, thinking about what would happen with the man in the future.

After returning, Tristan directly went to the King. He was still naked as he didn't even wear clothes.
The ladies in the places couldn't help but scream in terror, seeing the appearance of Tristan.
Since the King was friends with Tristan's grandfather, instead of getting angry with Tristan, felt worried, seeing him in such a situation.
Tristan then told the scenes he had come across in the Mysterious Peak to the King, excluding the portion about Shuang. He instead made an imaginary enemy that killed his soldiers and brought him into this situation.
Tristan then asked for the help of the King in regards to the regeneration of his private parts.
The King already had doubts regarding the story Tristan had told him since the story didn't match with the severe amount of injury Tristan had.
The treasury of the Kingdom had several medicines that could help in the regeneration and healing of the burning marks. Since Tristan was the army chief of the Kingdom, the King allowed the treasurer to send those medicines to Tristan.
Time flew by.
No matter what kind of medicine the treasury had, it had no effect on Tristan's injury or his private parts. And as days passed by, the feeling Tristan had for Shuang grew at a monstrous rate.
A few days later, Tristan returned to the Mysterious Peak, only to not find Shuang there. He called her for hours and searched around the mountain, but his search came to naught.
At that moment, as if there was a switch for his brain, and it flipped down, Tristan lost his mind and began his rampage across the Kingdom.
Tristan had turned completely crazy and a wrathful creature. In his rage, he had massacred so many people that it could even make an evil cultivator shudder.
If not for his grandfather using the one favor he had on the King, the King would have killed Tristan.
Even though the grandfather had saved his grandson by using a favor the King owed to him, the King put him in a prison for his life and also crippled his cultivation. The grandfather had no choice but to accept the King's decision as what his grandson had done wasn't a pardonable offense.
Time flew by, and years had passed.
As years passed, Tristan became an evil memory to the Kingdom, only to appear once again today.
Tristan's grandfather and the King were in conversation in the throne hall. The grandfather was requesting the King to let Tristan go to the First Store in the Bisan Kingdom.
"No!" The King straight away refused. For the crime Tristan had committed, he doesn't deserve to live, let alone move freely.
"Don't you want to know what happened with Tristan that day?" asked the grandfather. He and the King both had no idea why had Tristan turned into a crazy mindless creature?
The King fell silent hearing his old friend's question.
"Fine!" After staying silent for some time, the King spoke, but before the grandfather could celebrate, he further added, "It doesn't matter what happened to him that day. What he had done couldn't be forgiven. If he can be treated then it's good, but he couldn't have his cultivation back."
The grandfather wanted to speak something in response, but no words came out of his throat, seeing the cold expression on the King's face.
"Thank you for your magnanimity, your majesty," The grandfather bowed and thanked the King for allowing his grandson to be free.
Even though Tristan can't regain his cultivation back, after healing, he can have children. His family line wouldn't die with Tristan since Tristan was the only son of the grandfather's only child.
The grandfather then left the throne hall as he wanted to share this information with his family.
"Keep an eye on him," The King coldly ordered the air after the grandfather left.
"As you command, your majesty!" A cold voice rang in response, and soon a wisp of air flew by.

"So this is the store," commented Tristan's father as he looked at the storefront from the street.
