Chapter 397 – (1) Threat
Chapter 397: Threat
Since there was nothing else for Aakesh to do here, he took a single look at the newly standing fort and left the area.
The next moment, the silence inside the selection area got broken as out of nowhere, a portal appeared. Soon, Aakesh stepped out of it.
Now that he had conquered the fort, his next step was to attack the known bases of the organization Nielle and find the location of the main headquarters from there.
Thinking for some time, Aakesh decided against acting today.
He would act tomorrow after closing the store since he would have an extra hour tomorrow.
After making the decision, Aakesh asked for his chair. The next moment, it appeared. Aakesh sat comfortably on it and then waited for Lily to exit her training area.
During the time, Aakesh thought of strategies for when he would act tomorrow, taking the arrows he could shoot in real life into consideration.
Time flew by.
The arrival of a portal broke the silence around the selection area, and not long after, Lily stepped out of it.
Seeing Aakesh waiting for her, she couldn't help but grin.
Aakesh also stopped thinking of strategies when he saw Lily appearing in the selection area.
Lily asked for her chair, and then the duo began sharing their experiences with each other while Lily took the lead.

"I could help you in the battle against the organization," Lily commented after hearing Aakesh had conquered the fort.
A gentle smile spread across Aakesh's face as he gently patted Lily's tiny head and honestly responded, "Taking your help isn't possible!"
"Hmph," Lily scoffed in response. She also cursed the system in her mind for not letting her help Aakesh in battling the organization.
Aakesh couldn't help but laugh, seeing the weird faces Lily made. He could guess the reason behind them, so he didn't stop her.
After sharing their experiences, Aakesh coaxed Lily for a while.
"You don't need to return tomorrow," Aakesh suddenly said.
"I know," Lily angrily responded.
"Fine, I would help you once in Panagea if you fell into a troubling situation," Aakesh promised Lily if she stopped bringing up the organization.
Lily only stared at Aakesh in response. The duo then left the selection area and appeared in the store.
The next moment, a door floating mid-air appeared, and soon, stairs connecting it to the hardwood floor appeared.
Silently Lily, without even looking at Aakesh, climbed up the steps. Just before she was to enter the door, she turned around and looked at Aakesh.
"If anything happens to you, I would never talk to you," She solemnly told Aakesh and entered the room.
Aakesh only smiled in response to Lily's threat of not talking to him. He could feel the concern Lily had for him, as the battle wasn't virtual, where the revival was certain. He was going to war with one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension, where even dying was very much possible, let alone life-threatening injuries.
The next moment, the door and stairs faded into the disappearance. Aakesh then took a step forward in the direction of the portal room.
After entering the room, he found the space inside had doubled, and the number of virtual portals had doubled from the morning.
As usual, his eyes then fell on the leaderboard. As expected, there was a new addition to it. Aakesh expressionlessly nodded, seeing the number of Level 10 in the Panagea increasing day by day.
He was still at the top, with the only adventurer to breach the Level 50 mark, while the second-ranked adventurer was Maria, who was only Level 31.
Aakesh stopped looking at the leaderboard, took a step forward, and touched the nearest portal with only the tip of his finger.
The next moment, a suction force stronger than anything he could handle appeared and sucked him in.
After entering the Panagea, it was now time for Aakesh to complete the quest. He had accepted it yesterday but had failed to do so since the sun had risen in Visteerna.
The quest was for Aakesh to rescue a kidnapped child, with the kidnappers belonging to a known organization.
The kidnappers were only around Level 65, but attacking them was equivalent to taking the enmity of the said organization. Even Aakesh, who had several privileges of being an adventurer, would gain the hatred of the organization. He would have to face attacks from them once he breached the Level 100 mark; since the privilege of higher-level individuals not attacking the adventures would get taken away.
Aakesh didn't care about the hatred of some organizations in Panagea, as the number of attributes he was gaining with each level increase would make him on par with Level 130+ when he breached the Level 100 mark and became a Legendary lifeform.
After appearing in Panagea, the possible hideouts of the kidnappers appeared in his mind. He found the closest one and left in search of that.
Time flew by.
"Thank you for saving my son, great adventurer," The father of the boy, Aakesh had just rescued, thanked him profusely.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response to the thank and then left the area, as he had received the reward of an increase of three levels after handing over the boy to the father.
"Increase," After getting out of crowded areas, Aakesh muttered.
Soon, a blue light engulfed him, and not long after, it disappeared.
The next moment, Aakesh reached Level 54.
After checking the quests yesterday, he hadn't gotten many quests that offered him a great reward for the levels he could fight, so he decided to return to the process of increasing levels using his class, Watcher.
Aakesh had only taken a step forward when a sudden pressure attacked him. Aakesh almost stumbled, but he acted quickly, took out his sword, and used it to balance himself.
He then turned around and found a being looking down on him.
Aakesh's expression turned cold, seeing the being.
"I'll remember you," The person coldly threatened Aakesh and then disappeared.
Aakesh stood there for a few seconds without moving. In the end, his eyes had returned to expressionlessness.
He then turned around and left for the location where he could find a crowd.
Time flew by.
The sun was about to rise in Visteerna, so Aakesh had to stop watching the event midway and leave Panagea.
