Chapter 507
Chapter 507: The Countdown(3)
Red blood and brain matter flew across the area as the young man’s head exploded with just a slap.
“Thud!”
The next moment, the headless body of the young man crashed to the ground. Carlos ignored it, but instead, he took a deep breath as the feeling of guilt attacked him after he killed the young man.
The scene in the market turned crazy as suddenly a man’s head exploded out of nowhere in front of everyone.
“RUN!”
People screamed and attempted to escape the area since they wanted to run as far away as possible from the devil covered in the young man’s blood and brain matter.
Carlos didn’t chase anyone but stood there frozen, and tears started streaming down his cheeks as an unprecedented feeling of guilt attacked him.
“ARGH!” Carlos screamed a heart-rending cry as if he was in pain by becoming the killer, not the victim.
“After getting the lotus, I will hunt you down and make you pay for forcing me to go through this,” Carlos looked at the sky and vowed. His eyes were red, while veins had popped out.
Carlos’s eyes then fell on the young man’s headless corpse. It has only been a few seconds since the man died, so his heart must still be active.
Since the young man had taken the appearance of Carlos’s son, which belonged to the Dororo race, Carlos bent down and cut open the area right above the man’s waist, resulting in blood pouring out like a tide.
His eyes then fell on the heart, which was still beating and pumping blood. Carlos then controlled his strength and gently took out the heart since he didn’t want to harm it.
As soon as he took out the heart, it stopped beating, and not long after, it turned and scattered in the area like sand, bringing a look of surprise on Carlos’s expression-dead face.
The expression disappeared straight away as Carlos stood up. He then chased another young man.
The same thing happened this time. After Carlos took out the heart, it stopped beating, and then it scattered like sand.
Time flew by.
Carlos finally was able to preserve the heart to its beating phase after killing more than a hundred beings who had the same features as his son and daughter.

“Let’s end the day here,” Katrina told Aakesh.
It had been sixty years since Lily had fallen asleep. Her breakthrough still hadn’t come to an end, and it didn’t look like it would even end in the near future.
Aakesh had asked the system why it was taking so much time for Lily to wake up from her breakthrough.
The system had told Aakesh that his blood was the reason behind this long duration.
When Lily was only in her egg, Aakesh had fed one liter of his blood to the egg for 108 years straight, which had helped Lily in her body’s creation. But after this breakthrough, Lily’s blood would evolve, and she would have an entirely different bloodline than the other Epochal Felines.
After she woke up, she wouldn’t just be an Epochal Feline, but a hybrid, belonging to the race from which Aakesh came and the Epochal Feline. It would be the birth of an entirely new species, hence the long time.
Aakesh was very excited for Lily to wake up since, after her breakthrough, she would be the second member of whatever race he belonged to.
While Lily was sleeping, Aakesh didn’t just stay idle. He had two very strong central rulers with him, so he started training with them.
After the training began, Aakesh found the difference between him and Katrina/Autumn when it came to their strength.
In the Primal dimension terms, Aakesh had strength equivalent to the weakest of the members of the Sacred dimension, and Autumn’s strength was way above that.
Aakesh wanted to know the full strength of Autumn, so he had asked the system for the testing slab.
Even a casual swipe of Autumn crossed the full-powered attack Aakesh could release without any restrictions. Katrina was even more powerful than Autumn as her most destructive attack power was 1.5 times greater than Autumn’s strike power.
For the training, Autumn and Katrina would reduce their level since Aakesh could die in the spur of the moment.
When they fought on an equal level of power, Aakesh could take on both Autumn and Katrina at the same time, and winning came without much effort.
When Katrina raised her strength by a level, the training finally turned interesting for Aakesh. In the case of Autumn, when she raised her level by one, Aakesh still defeated her without much effort, but when she increased her strength by two levels, the table turned around, and she defeated Aakesh in only a few strikes.
In the third month of the training, Aakesh started defeating Katrina when she increased her level by one, forcing her to raise her strength by two levels.
When Katrina raised her strength by two levels, even surviving an attack became too difficult for Aakesh, so he stopped training with Katrina but instead only trained with Autumn, who had increased her strength by the same number.
In the tenth year, Aakesh finally won her first battle against Autumn, but since it was due to his unlimited endurance, the win didn’t count. From that moment, Aakesh’s training with Katrina began again.
The strength gap between him and Katrina wasn’t something that could be broken by talent since Katrina and Autumn were also top creatures, and their talent wasn’t anything less than other geniuses in the Multiverse.
In the fifty-sixth year of training, Aakesh was finally able to survive the onslaught of Katrina when she raised her strength by two levels, resulting in the first draw.
It had been more than five years since then, but Aakesh still hadn’t succeeded in turning that draw into a win for him. At the same time, for the last two years, he had started training with Autumn when she had raised her strength by three levels.
Whenever Aakesh fought with Autumn, the result was disappointing for Aakesh.
The most number of attacks he had survived before losing against Autumn up to this point was a measly four.
“Okay,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded after Katrina called the end of the training. She grew physically tired after fighting Aakesh for hours at full intensity, but Aakesh remained the same due to his outrageous unlimited endurance.
