Chapter 578
Chapter 578: A Familiar Face!
Aakesh had been relaxing for three hours straight since no newer customer or a regular customer who didn’t own any of the three cards arrived in the store after Dotta.
“Click!”
“Click!”
“Click!”
Aakesh’s relaxation session finally came to an end after three long hours as he sensed the footsteps approaching him.
Aakesh opened his eyes, only to find a familiar figure standing in front of him with a smiling face.
The figure was none other than Lilith, the Angel, whom Aakesh met fifty years ago in the store and then the Conspiracy continent with Vritrasura.
After leaving the continent, Aakesh never met with her again, only to see her today after fifty long years.
“Did you miss me?” Lilith smilingly asked as she saw the change in Aakesh’s expression when he saw her.
“Why are you here?” Aakesh ignored Lilith’s question and instead asked her the one he wanted.
The last time Lilith was here, it had things to do with Vritrasura and Jamini, so Aakesh couldn’t help but think about what was her next step.
“Do you even know how much your words hurt me?” Lilith’s voice suddenly changed. It was as if it contained all the world’s sadness in it. At the same time, a drop of tears streamed through Lilith’s cheeks as she looked at Aakesh.
Aakesh had an expressionless face as he didn’t speak but only stared at her.
Seeing her performance having no effect on Aakesh, Lilith’s wiped the teardrop away as her face suddenly turned cheerful.
“How can you resist my charm?” Lilith suddenly asked. She came from the race of Angels, a subspecies of the Yaksha race, the third-ranked race of the Multiverse.
Yakshas or their subspecies were known for their devilish charms, in addition to the outrageous power they had, making them loved and feared at the same time.
“Forget it! You’re a monster,” Before waiting for Aakesh’s response, Lilith added. She still remembered the evaluation Vritrasura had given to Aakesh, so she would only be an idiot if she believed that someone like Aakesh wouldn’t be able to fight her charms.
“Why are you here?” Aakesh ignored the compliment-containing comment from Lilith and asked the question again.
“Oh, just for fun,” Lilith answered.
Aakesh still had an expressionless face as he only stared at Lilith without speaking anything.
“For completing my mission, my teacher gave me a vacation of three days, so I am here to enjoy it since you’re the most interesting person I have come across,” Lilith added as she understood the meaning of the expressionless stare from Aakesh.
“Three days of Primal dimension or the third one?” Aakesh asked after staying silent for some time.
***
The reason for Aakesh staying silent was his conversation with the system in his head.
“Hey, system, what are my chances now to defeat Lilith?” Aakesh asked the system in his head.
The last time he asked the system, his chances of beating Lilith were zero. Even Dotta had chances of defeating Aakesh, it was low, but it still wasn’t zero like him.
Now Aakesh was several times stronger than the past him. If the past him were to be a dust particle in the ground, the current Aakesh would be a combination of several universes; such was the difference.
[Host, your chances of defeating the Angel still is zero percent!]
The next moment, the system’s mechanical and emotionless voice rang inside Aakesh’s head, breaking all the hopes Aakesh had of challenging Lilith to a battle in the virtual training area.
“If the chances of me defeating Lilith are still zero, doesn’t that mean her power breaches the limit set by the Primal dimension?” Aakesh asked another question.
In the past fifty years, Aakesh had raised both his strength and agility to the five billion Primal units mark.
After Aakesh reached that limit, his attributes started growing up as it was the limit set by the Primal dimension, and the system didn’t want Aakesh to cross that limit for now. Aakesh still had the store upgrading quest left to complete before he could even think of ascending.
[Yes, Host!]
[The Angel’s strength had crossed the limit of the Primal dimension, but even if she were to release her power, the dimension wouldn’t act against her.]
[Host, you don’t have sufficient authority to know further!]
In a breath, a few alerts rang inside Aakesh’s head, answering him and also informing him of new things, only to stop at the end as he didn’t have sufficient authority.
Aakesh couldn’t help but get surprised when he heard the latter alerts. How could his authority impeach him for knowing things other than the things related to his mysterious past? It was the first time Aakesh had come across such a situation.
Aakesh wanted to ask the system, but since he already knew the answer, he put the question in the back of his mind, waiting for his authority to grow.
Aakesh then stopped asking questions about the system and returned to the conversation with Lilith.
***
“The third dimension one,” Lilith smilingly replied. Her tone contained a hint of playfulness as if telling Aakesh that she had a lot of time on her hands here.
“Do you have a spot in Panagea?” Lilith then asked Aakesh as it was her third entry into the store, and during the previous two times, she had failed to get a spot as they were filled each time.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded. Even though he didn’t like or hate Lilith, he still didn’t want her inside the store, as even the system restricted him from asking more by using his low authority. But since he was a store owner, his ethics didn’t allow him to stop any customer from enjoying the store products if they didn’t break any rules.
Lilith couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief as unexpectedly a sense of tension had gripped her heart when she asked about Panagea. Returning without using the product not once but twice was already enough, and she didn’t want to fail again, so she got excited after hearing Aakesh.

A/N: I have no plans to introduce romance in the story, but I have plans to create friends for Aakesh. Lilith is one such character, so she would become the main character at some point in the future. Be sure to share your views!
