Chapter 697 A New Day with New Customers(4)
Chapter 697: A New Day with New Customers(4)
Living at such a level from being an Emperor in the Primal dimension took a mental toll on him. Its effect was so wild that he sold all the assets he had earned in the last thirty thousand years just to return to the Primal dimension after the epiphany.
Charles didn’t even care about the consequences as the worst that could have is he would have to restart his journey in the Sacred dimension with no assets. He couldn’t go any down than this, as his thirty thousand years worth of saving allowed him only to buy an inferior broken traveling talisman.
An inferior grade talisman would have allowed Charles to live in the Primal dimension for thirty years of the Sacred dimension time(Thirty thousand years in the Primal dimension), and it would have restricted his cultivation to intermediate Immortal level.
But the broken one could only allow him a stay of around ten years in the Primal dimension. Fortunately for him, the strength limit didn’t see any reduction as only the rune required to maintain the stay in the Primal dimension got damaged in the previous owner’s hands.
Charles had no choice but to buy it since it was the only one he could afford. Without wasting much time, Charles activated the talisman and traveled to the Primal dimension.
Even Charles didn’t know how long it took him to arrive in the Primal dimension since he couldn’t put his finger on the specific time of his exit from the Sacred in the Primal one.
Since George had been an Emperor of the Pocoso Empire, his traveling to the Empire made sense. But before he could made up his mind, the actions he had taken over the past unknown amount of hours finally came to him.
Charles couldn’t help but have his face turn pale from fright after seeing himself standing in the Primal dimension. The next moment, he thought of slapping himself in anger.
Selling thirty thousand years’ worth of saving just for ten years of stay in the Primal dimension made no sense to him, no matter what he thought. What made him further angrier was the fact that he couldn’t cultivate in the Primal dimension. At the same time, he was at the mercy of a peak Immortal in the Primal dimension.
His strength was Intermediate Immortal, and with all the concepts and physique he got from ascending could only help him defeat a late Immortal at most. In front of a peak Immortal, Charles was none other than an ordinary human, which would take just one breath from the being to destroy Charles.
Charles then took several deep breaths and finally calmed his pounding heart down. He now only had two choices. First, he could use the talisman to return to the Sacred dimension, and second, he could stay and investigate why did he get such an epiphany.
. It didn’t take him long to think of the correct choice. Returning to the Sacred dimension without gaining anything after selling all the assets he had earned after Charles’s hard work made no choice. Only an idiot of a supreme caliber would think of it as a good choice. Since Charles wasn’t one, he decided to stay here and investigate.
The next question arose in his mind whether he should meet his descendants or not.
Soon, the answer appeared in his mind. After taking a single look at him, he couldn’t gather the courage to go there. Before ascending, he had heard tales of his ancestors living beautifully well off in the Sacred dimension. Only after ascending did he find out that it was nothing but a bunch of lies to make more descendants ascend just so the previous ascenders could get some slave labor.
Around seven people in Charles’s family had ascended before, and when he reached there, only one was alive at that point.
Fortunately for Charles, the second ancestor to ascend had died before his ascension. His second ancestor was a greedy lunatic who sold the following five descendants to an organization just for some money. If he was alive, Charles would have also become one of the laborers and would have died doing that.
Thanks to the first ancestor, he found out about that. Unfortunately, he was also no saint as he refused to help Charles stabilize himself in the Sacred dimension.
Remembering all these stories, Charles couldn’t gather any courage to move forward. After a few seconds, he decided against it.
The next moment, he went to the nearest market and spent freely. The exhilarating feeling Charles got from all his spending was impossible for him to explain.
Charles was only poor in the Sacred dimension, but here even a single lowest quality Sacred stone was worth more than several million, if not billions of supreme Primal stones.
As for where he converted the currency, he didn’t.
Charles just stole from the people and spent it freely. The majority of his expenses went to the intel organization for learning the events over the past thousand years.
Charles set such a timeframe as he believed that something happened in these thousand years that had made him get the epiphany.
Charles then found out about the mysterious store and its mysterious products. Charles sensed that his epiphany had something to do with the store, so without wasting any time, Charles went to the store.
Before leaving, Charles used a disguising skill to change his face and aura since he could come across any of the members of the Pocoso Empire after learning about the popularity of the store.
Since he was an Immortal, it only took him a few rounds of teleportations to follow through to the address given by the intel organization.
Charles finally stood in front of the gate of the store. A question mark arose in his mind after seeing the building next to the store. There was nothing extraordinary about it except for it being close to the store.
Charles then directly entered the store, ignoring the eye and ear blocking. He had already gotten that information from the information he bought, so he didn’t waste any time getting curious about it.

A/N: Sorry for taking the sudden leave yesterday without informing. I had gotten busier than expected and didn’t even get the chance to write a single chapter. I would make for the loss in two to three days at most. At the same time, before the month’s end, I would also publish the three absent chapters from the mass release.
Thanks for supporting the book!
