The Great Ruler

A vast Demonic Energy raged within the world. At this moment, all of the people in the Great Thousand World lifted up their heads and looked anxiously in the direction of the Northern Wilderness Hill.

Although they had no idea what was going on, they could indistinctly feel a horrifying oppression descending upon the Great Thousand World. The odd feeling filled all of them with fear.

At the Northern Wilderness Hill.

As all of the Heavenly Sovereigns looked at the Demonic Energy that was lingering in the sky, they felt uneasy. Even the Divine Heavenly Sovereigns, like Maha Tian and Qing Yanjing, looked grim.

Since the Heavenly Evil Deity had escaped from the seal, they knew that it would be very difficult to suppress him again. The Great Thousand World would indeed be facing a calamity soon.

The minute that the Heavenly Evil Deity escaped from the seal, the Saint Heaven Demon Emperor and the rest of the Extraterritorial Race had retreated. They ignored Qin Tian, the two masters, and the towering Demonic Shadows as they knelt down before the Heavenly Evil Deity with great respect.

“Welcome back, Deity!” The Main Clan Leaders of the Extraterritorial Race exclaimed in unison as they bowed.

A strong Demonic Energy exuded from behind them, while several Demonic Shadows knelt down in fear and shouted out with great respect, “Welcome back, Deity!”

Their loud voices resounded throughout the area, and when Qin Tian, the Green Shirt Sword Saint, and the Undying Lord heard them, their faces sank. They then looked at the majestic Demonic Power and shivered.

Swoosh!

At that moment, several shadows darted through the sky toward them. These were the masters from the Sovereign Divine Beast Clans, the Real Dragon Emperor, Lord Feng, and Lord Huang.

“Qin Tian, what are you doing? How could you let the Heavenly Evil Deity escape from the seal?” The Real Dragon Emperor shouted angrily at Qin Tian, his voice rumbling like thunder. He looked fiercely at Qin Tian and the two masters with his golden eyes.

Qin Tian looked dejected as he replied, “This is all my fault. If the seed of the heart demon had not been planted in me, the Extraterritorial Race would not have had the opportunity to destroy the sealing array.”

“Real Dragon Emperor, it is useless to talk about the past with regret. What we have to focus on now is thinking of a way to deal with the Heavenly Evil Deity,” the Green Shirt Sword Saint said with a grim look.

The Real Dragon Emperor lifted up his head, and when he saw the demons kneeling down before the Heavenly Evil Deity to worship him, he smiled wryly and asked, “What can we do now? You must know how horrifying the Heavenly Evil Deity is. Even the Immortal Emperor has to sacrifice his life in order to seal him up. Can you tell me who else in our Great Thousand World can stop him?”

Everyone was silent. Although they were all masters in the Great Thousand World, they felt helpless in the face of the Heavenly Evil Deity.

All of them looked at one another and sighed. However, they were still determined to fight it out with the Extraterritorial Race.

As they had already had a taste of the Extraterritorial Race’s cruel ways, they were well aware that anyone who fell into their hands would be enslaved and locked up like beasts. Since this would be the case if they were defeated anyway, they figured that they might as well fight it out with them and go down swinging!

Mu Chen, who was at the Northern Wilderness Hill, lifted up his head and looked at the scene where the demons were bowing down to the Heavenly Evil Deity. His face immediately turned grim.

As Luo Li came to his side, she looked grim as well. Even she was frightened when she saw the scene.

When Mu Chen sensed her fear, he stretched out his hand and grabbed hold of her icy hand, then said gently, “Don’t worry. No matter how bad the situation gets, I will not let any harm come to you. As long as I’m alive, I will keep you safe.”

As Luo Li felt the heat in Mu Chen’s palm, she felt warmed and comforted. She squeezed Mu Chen’s hand as she said gently, “I am not afraid of dying, as long as I’m with you.”

As Mu Chen looked at Luo Li, he could feel the affection that she had for him, which caused him to break out into a wide smile. He felt more brave when she was near.

The Heavenly Sovereigns at the Northern Wilderness Hill all had determined looks on their faces. At the moment, the Heavenly Evil Deity stood in the sky, while a vast Demonic Energy surged around him.

As he looked at the demons, his voice resounded throughout the whole area, “Well done, Saint Demon.”

The Saint Heaven Demon Emperor knelt down before him on one knee. He then looked up at the Heavenly Evil Deity and said respectfully, “I was only carrying out the instructions that my Deity left behind.”

The Heavenly Evil Deity smiled upon hearing his fitting answer. He then looked at the Demonic Shadows behind him and asked, “Although I escaped from the seal, I lost my strength. Have you prepared any blood for me to consume?”

The Saint Heaven Demon Emperor nodded and smiled. He then waved his hand, causing the space behind him to tear apart. At that moment, the Lower Planes appeared among the spatial cracks, and there were many people within it.

The Heavenly Evil Deity looked ruthless as he smiled evilly. He then flicked his fingers, sending a Demonic Energy dashing into the Lower Planes. The Demonic Energy raged around the people, then promptly exploded into a blood mist!

The people in the Lower Planes shrieked in unison. They were so loud that their screams could be heard even in the Great Thousand World!

As the Heavenly Evil Deity took a big breath and sucked in, the Demonic Energy twirled back to him, along with a great amount of Blood Essence. He then swallowed the Blood Essence into his body.

Immediately after he swallowed, the Heavenly Evil Deity’s Demonic Shadow suddenly surged, and a horrifying Demonic Energy rolled back, compressing itself at an amazing speed. In a short while, the Demonic Shadow that was standing in the sky shrank, and a figure slowly walked out from it. The figure was the Heavenly Evil Deity, having been transformed!

When he walked out, he captured the attention of everyone present. He was wearing a white robe, which had stars embroidered on it. As his robe fluttered about, he exuded an ethereal aura.

He was good-looking and his face was fair. His eyes were totally black. In fact, they looked like two black holes, and as they rotated slowly, they seemed ready to devour everything they gazed upon!

Other than his eyes, another unique feature that he possessed was three extra Evil Eyes, which were on the Heavenly Evil Deity’s forehead. At the moment, the eye at the center was open, whereas the other two were shut. In total, he had five eyes!

Qin Tian and the two masters looked terrible when they saw the Heavenly Evil Deity’s current state. They could feel a horrifying fluctuation exuding from him. It was apparent that, after the Heavenly Evil Deity had devoured the Blood Essence, he had regained some of his strength!

“Although I have only regained about half of my strength, it should be enough for now,” the Heavenly Evil Deity said as lowered his head to look at Qin Tian, the Green Shirt Sword Saint, and the rest of the masters of the Great Thousand World, while smiling an evil and cold smile.

Even though the masters were all at the later stage of the Divine Heavenly Sovereign level, they looked grave upon hearing his words. After all, although their array was powerful, they were still fearful when they saw the Heavenly Evil Deity, who was now robed in white.

“This Northern Wilderness Hill has sealed me up for 49,000 years. What’s more, it was filled with the Immortal Emperor’s blood! Today, I shall destroy it to commemorate my return!” the Heavenly Evil Deity announced.

Having said that, the Evil Eye at the center of his glabella blinked dimly, and in the next instant, he shouted, “Death Eye!” In that moment, a black ray of light shot out of the Evil Eye!

The black ray of light instantly expanded with the wind before it turned into a Black Shooting Star, which carried with it the aura of death! In fact, if it fell to the ground, the entire continent would be destroyed!

Qin Tian and the two masters watched in horror as the Black Shooting Star sped towards them. All of their faces turned pale in an instant! They could clearly sense the horrifying power that the Black Shooting Star was emitting.

“Let’s strike altogether!” Qin Tian shouted.

The Green Shirt Sword Saint, the Undying Lord, and the Real Dragon Emperor immediately struck out, causing their spiritual energy to surge crazily. At that moment, the heavens and the earth tore apart, while a series of attacks shot up into the sky in order to launch a defensive attack to stop the Black Shooting Star. This joint-force attack of the masters was powerful and dynamic indeed!

Boom! Boom!

All of the Heavenly Sovereigns watched anxiously as the masters attacked the Black Shooting Star with all of their might.

Bang!

When the defensive attacks and the Black Shooting Star clashed, a horrifying shockwave raged out, tearing a large stretch of the sky apart. At that same time, the space collapsed continuously.

After the chaotic shockwaves dissipated, a ray of black light suddenly shot out and appeared before everyone. It was the same Black Shooting Star!

Its size had remained the same, and it was apparent that the masters were unable to do anything else to it, even though they had joined forces to attack it.

All of the Heavenly Sovereigns at the Northern Wilderness Hill gasped as they looked at the scene before them. Even Qin Tian and the two masters were stunned when they felt the horrifying power of the Black Shooting Star, as the power was way beyond their strengths.

“Is our Great Thousand World going to be destroyed?” the Undying Lord cried out, his eyes filled with despair.

“You fools! You have thought too highly of yourselves!” the Heavenly Evil Deity sneered and shook his head.

He then added, “Immortal Emperor, I shall destroy your remains, as well as the Northern Wilderness Hill! Since you have sealed me up for 49,000 years, I will make the people of your Great Thousand World pay for it!”

Swoosh!

After he finished speaking, the Black Shooting Star tore the space apart and appeared just outside of the Northern Wilderness Hill. Its power was so destructive, even Qin Tian and the two masters were beside themselves as for what to do next. They could only watch as the destructive force destroyed the Northern Wilderness Hill!

“Gentlemen, let’s take him on… Even if it means we must sacrifice our lives!” Qin Tian yelled as he slowly shut his eyes and formed a seal with his hands.

He had a determined look on his face, and as the spiritual energy in his body started to surge crazily, it was clear that he intended to blow up his body in order to stop the Heavenly Evil Deity’s destructive attack!

Upon seeing this, the Undying Lord and the Green Shirt Sword Saint looked at each other and smiled helplessly. They did not say a word, but simply flew into action as well. Immediately, the spiritual energy in their bodies started to surge crazily!

However, when the spiritual energy in their bodies had surged to the highest point, the void was suddenly crushed! At that moment, a vast stream of power came over them, then quickly covered them up, suppressing their spiritual energy.

As Qin Tian and the two masters looked around, they were in shocked. This was because they sensed a familiar fluctuation surrounding them…

Suddenly, they saw two shadows walking in the smashed void, and after they stepped out of the void, the two shadows appeared just outside the Northern Wilderness Hill. When the two figures stepped out, the Heavenly Sovereigns saw that they were the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor!

At that moment, a deep sound rumbled in the area. Then, a magnificent flame shot up into the sky and turned into a Flaming Sword Ray, which then darted across the horizon! Its heat was so powerful, it could burn up the entire world.

A large hand then pierced through the sky. The hand had eight strange powers, which were circling around it. As soon as it appeared, it paired up with the Flaming Sword Ray to strike at the Black Shooting Star.

Boom!

Upon the impact of their joint-strike, three powerful shockwaves raged out. The powerful Black Shooting Star started to shake violently before it ultimately exploded! All of this happened right before the eyes of the Saint Heaven Demon Emperor and the entire Extraterritorial Race!

As the Saint Heaven Demon Emperor and the rest of the Extraterritorial Race looked outside the Northern Wilderness Hill, they saw two figures in the sky. They were like towering mountains, and they seemed to have been able to have completely turned the tides!

Qin Tian and the two masters were shocked when they saw the two figures. They started to tremble, as they were very excited. They then yelled in unison, “The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor! They finally came!”
