Ji Yuan did not exactly walk out of the battle arena. He was teleported out of the battle arena instead.

As soon as he was back to the waiting hall, his old translucent guide began to appear next to him to say in a croaked voice. “You can now access the First Wing Cultivation Hall where you can purchase cultivation resources beyond your wildest dreams. As this is your first victory, you have also gained 3 slaughter points…”

Ji Yuan immediately flashed a thousand high grade spirit stones and said bitterly. “I’m upgrading to the noble room for the next 10 days. For the next 10 days, I don’t wish to see you.”

The translucent old guide smiled angelically before she transformed into a beautiful serving maid that Ji Yuan had seen previously. “A wise choice instead.”

Ji Yuan: …

“Honorable guest, do you want to visit the First Wing Cultivation Hall first?” The serving maid asked with a grin.

Ji Yuan said. “No hurry. I want to watch the fights first.”

“That will be a hundred high spirit stones for the ticket. I can help you to purchase the ticket for you…”

Ji Yuan suddenly interrupted. “Say. You’re all the same person am I right? I mean, you’re the same spirit entity, am I right? Because all your mannerism is the same.”

The serving maiden just smiled and said nothing.

“You know, I’ve heard that it is more fun trying to be involved in a trial than merely observing the others.” Ji Yuan grinned.

Xiang Li was nodding inside his soul sea as she agreed wholeheartedly. “That’s right! It is more fun being involved in the trial than merely an observer.”

That was what she had been telling Ji Yuan.

The serving maiden: …

Ji Yuan laughed. “You don’t have to tell me anything but I know for sure. I’ve a spirit entity as well. She is also the master of a trial.”

“A trial spirit can never leave their trial.” The serving maiden answered coldly all of a sudden.

Ji Yuan chuckled. “Not my Xiang Li. She is a special spirit entity. Do you want to meet her?”

The serving maiden answered coldly. “No. Come with me to the speculator stand.”

Ji Yuan shrugged his shoulder before he asked. “We’re not teleporting there instantly?”

The serving maiden stared coldly at him before saying. “It is only for the competitors. You’re outside the warping stations now.”

Ji Yuan laughed weakly. “Haha. Is that so? My legs are a little weak after my fight. Can you assist me a little?”

But the translucent serving maiden completely ignored Ji Yuan’s request and had floated away.

Ji Yuan could do nothing but followed her; he was actually eager to witness the fights that were between the cultivators. This was because he was not going to let such a great opportunity to learn about the various profound arts in the Celestial Realm to be missed by any chance.

With an excited look, he was already following eagerly behind the more pleasant looking serving maid that was guiding him compared to the old hag that he had earlier.

Soon Ji Yuan was back in the battle arena but to his utter surprise, he saw only a few dozen cultivators only and there were no sight of his beloveds in the speculator stand.

What is going on?

Also, the stands are looking a little different now.

The serving maiden turned around with a grin. “You’ve a wing now so naturally you can only view the fight that is on the second level. If you wish to view a lower level fight, that will be an additional 100 high grade spirit stones. But you got to tell me which level that you will like to watch first because there will be no refunds.”

Ji Yuan: …

Ji Yuan: …

Ji Yuan: …

“Why? You’ve friends?” The serving maiden smiled. “The battle arena is big enough to hold a hundred fights simultaneously. You will see them soon enough, provided that they win their fight.”

Just as Ji Yuan was heaving soft sighs of resignation, he spotted Yu Jingjing emerging in the battle arena. It seemed that she had decided to go for her second fight immediately in order to seize whatever advantage that she had for the first few rounds; it was because the first few fights may have weaker opponents as everyone was still exploring the trials.

Then Ji Yuan had a look of amusement when he saw her opponent; it was Tang Yumen the cultivator that was carrying a pink rabbit in his arm outside the trial earlier and that he was now representing the Air Faction.

Ji Yuan frowned almost immediately as he muttered, “Aren’t they friends? I wonder how they are going to rig the fight…”

Yu Jingjing smiled angelically as she displayed her zither. “I believe that we’ve met earlier. My musical instrument is a heaven-step treasure and I am saintess.”

Tang Yumen smiled as he displayed his heaven-step divine sword. “What a coincidence. I am also a saint…”

Yu Jingjing was gasping softly because he had just displayed the profound animus of a great saint through his divine sword…

But she quickly composed herself as she said coolly. “I’ve been known to defeat great saints in the past.”

But she neglected to mention that she had mostly only won 1 out of every 20 fights and that was a friendly fight with her elders.

The two combatants quickly got into their attacking positions and they were fighting almost immediately with their profound arts that were shaking the battle arena.

Luckily there seemed to be an invisible shield that prevented their profound arts from straying into the other fighters that were also having their duels in the battle arena.

Actually Ji Yuan had no interest in Yu Jingjing’s rigged fight but she was the most enticing maiden in the battle arena and she really had really lovely legs under her short skirt so he found himself looking at her fight instead.

Yu Jingjing was swift and her profound arts were like the winds, slicing through the air as she raised her zither to display booming shockwaves at her opponent.

But this Tang Yumen was even faster and Ji Yuan was astonished that he could move in a blink of an eye instantaneous, hence he could avoid Yu Jingjing’s attacks all the time and he even had several opportunities to attack Yu Jingjing.

However Yu Jingjing seemed to have anticipated his moves and she quickly moved away, maintaining a social distancing so that she would not lose her advantage.

This was a battle between saints and Ji Yuan estimated that this fight would not be over so quickly. They seemed almost evenly matched and it would at least 500 moves before the victor would be more pronounced; whoever had the most profound strength and had also taken the least hits would probably emerge as the final victor.

However since they probably know each other, it may somewhat end up as a draw…

So Ji Yuan asked the serving maid. “Is there a draw for the competition?”

The beautiful serving maid nodded. “There is. They have half a watch (an hour) to determine the winner or else the fight will be a draw.”

This immediately confirmed Ji Yuan’s suspicions.

“Is there any penalties in a draw?” Ji Yuan asked curiously.

The beautiful serving maid grinned back. “You will lose all your slaughter points if it is a draw and one slaughter point for each level of the tournament.”

Ji Yuan: …

“What the hell…”

But the beautiful serving maid interrupted with a cold smile. “You should not be surprised. You should have asked for the rules before the competition begins. Why? You’ve friends here that you do not want to fight?”

,m Ji Yuan: …

The beautiful serving maid returned a sudden smile. “Why don’t you tell me who your friends are? Maybe I can even help you to pass a message or two?”

“Oh?” Ji Yuan laughed all of a sudden before he turned solemn. “No thanks!”

The beautiful serving maid: …

Xiang Li began to ask Ji Yuan curiously. “Big Brother, why did you reject her offer to help you?”

Ji Yuan replied solemnly. “Xiang Li, if you are the trial spirit, will you help the cultivators or not?”

Xiang Li began to ponder before she giggled. “I will offer to help but I won’t really try to help…”

“That is because you just want to know who their friends are so that you can screw them in the trial, am I right?” Ji Yuan asked.

Xiang Li put her face into her palms, “Big Brother, you know me so well!”

Ji Yuan smiled bitterly. “I’m not talking about you. I am talking about this trial spirit. Therefore we mustn’t trust her and I hope that the others won’t accidentally slip that they know me during the trial.”

All of a sudden he began to sigh with great miserably as he could imagine Ling Feiyue, Little Princess, Bai Qianfeng and Shui Xisi shouting excitingly at the speculator stand. “Look! It is Ji Yuan our Lord! I hope that Ji Yuan will be able to win!”

Xiang Li gasped as she realized the truth about the trial. “Then these serving attendants are all watchers. Big Brother, are you sure?”

Ji Yuan said solemnly, “Trust me. I won’t be wrong. This is a trial and you cannot trust the deceiving rules of the trial in a blind manner.”

Xiang Li nodded with great adoration. “Big Brother can’t be wrong! I trust Big Brother 100%. So is there anything that I should know as well?”

Ji Yuan laughed as he pointed at the fight between Yu Jingjing and Tang Yumen. “For example, this fight will be a draw. Losing 3 slaughter points isn’t a big deal. The two of them are obviously in a gang…”

All of a sudden, Tang Yumen had taken out a secret mini-crossbow from under his sleeve and three powerful darts had pierced through to Yu Jingjing’s body!

Before Yu Jingjing could react, Tang Yumen had struck her with another blow with his claws which had turned purple.

Venom!

This Tang Yumen was a venom expert too!

Yu Jingjing stumbled to the ground as her heaving bosoms were exposed by Tang Yumen’s claws.

Weakened by the poisons and under the further strong attacks of Tang Yumen, Yu Jingjing’s top was ripped apart by Tang Yumen’s lecherous claws.

Yu Jingjing burst into tears as she cried out tearfully. “Enough! I concede!”

Tang Yumen laughed aloud. “I didn’t have enough from you yet. This ends a little too soon.”

Yu Jingjing’s zither and the valuable contents of her spatial ring were forcefully removed from her and transferred to Tang Yumen.

Ji Yuan was shocked by the outcome of the battle and the brutal treatment that was received by Yu Jingjing.

Even Xiang Li was shocked as she stammered to Ji Yuan. “Big Brother, aren’t they friends?”

Ji Yuan blinked his eyes as he recalled the tearful and humiliating look that was on Yu Jingjing just before she was teleported away.
