Chapter 287 - You Can Choose to Live While Wishing You Were Dead
Chapter 287: You Can Choose to Live While Wishing You Were Dead
Tu Xiuyu looked at Feng Tianlan then back at Si Mobai. She shook her head in disbelief. “Impossible. It’s impossible.”
How could the Wargod like Feng Tianlan? How could this be? It was even more impossible than the end of the world.
Si Mobai raised an eyebrow slightly, then pulled Feng Tianlan into his embrace. His usual icy voice had a unique gentleness in it as he said, “It’s very late. Don’t let this delay your bedtime.”‘Don’t be late for the time when I hug you to sleep’ was what he really meant.
Zhang Tiancheng had one foot out the door when he heard what Si Mobai said and tripped over himself, falling into the room.
The Wargod seldom spoke, but each time he did, such shocking words came out!
Si Mobai’s icy knife-like gaze turned to him, and Zhang Tiancheng was so frightened that he immediately stood up straight. He looked as solemn as possible as he said with a straight face, “My nuts still hurt, so my legs are wobbly.”
He wished that His Highness would treat him the same way as Boss. He was so gentle and adoring toward her, but his expression changed to extreme iciness in an instant. His face changed even faster than flipping the pages of a book.
“You two…” Tu Xiuyu looked in disbelief at the sight in front of her. How could this be? One was the Wargod, and the other was Feng Tianlan. How could they be together? How?
Feng Tianlan was just an ugly woman who wasn’t worthy of the Wargod. Besides, wasn’t the Wargod misogynistic? Why did he go up and embrace Feng Tianlan? How had things turned out like this? How on earth?
“Lan’er is my fiancée.” Si Mobai’s icy voice cut through the air like sharp knives. Nothing was impossible in this world, and Lan’er being with him was one of the most possible things on earth.
Tu Xiuyu continued to shake her head in disbelief. But, after what she had just witnessed, she couldn’t deny it either. She said, laughing hollowly, “Are you here to laugh at me? Or are you here to torture me like the others?”
None of this bothered her anymore. All she wanted to do now was kill Tu Xiupei.
“The feeling of being betrayed and abandoned by the ones you love the most, the ones you hold most dear…” Feng Tianlan felt bitterness in her mouth and didn’t want to go on, so she turned to Zhang Tiancheng and said, “Give it to her.”
She didn’t feel any sympathy for Tu Xiuyu’s predicament and was only reminded of what had happened to her in her previous life. It was hard to say who had it worse. But one thing that was for sure was how frightening people could be.
Tu Xiupei was bent on punishing Tu Xiuyu, so Tu Xiang and Xu Jiayi had abandoned Tu Xiuyu and allowed Tu Xiupei to torture her. They were Tu Xiuyu’s biological parents. But Tu Xiang had chosen Tu Xiupei over Tu Xiuyu despite knowing that Tu Xiupei wasn’t his because Tu Xiupei was more useful to him than his own daughter.
It was difficult to imagine how terrifying this man really was.
Zhang Tiancheng walked over awkwardly because he was still in pain and squatted down to pass a whole stack of papers to Tu Xiuyu. “A chance for you to take revenge.”
Tu Xiuyu took the papers with one hand. After looking through them, her face changed completely. She looked back up at Feng Tianlan. “You want me to kill Big Brother Rong with this?”
“I just want revenge.” Feng Tianlan narrowed her eyes slightly. Her body’s previous owner had been beaten to death by Si Rong and Tu Xiuyu; she had to take revenge for her. She would never forget that!
She owed this to the previous Feng Tianlan, and it was payback time!
“But I’ll die.” Tu Xiuyu’s hand trembled. If anybody discovered the contents of these papers, she would die for sure. Tu Xiuyu was afraid of dying.
“Alternatively, you can choose to live while wishing you were dead.” Feng Tianlan glanced at Tu Xiuyu’s face, which was covered with blood. Although she was filled with despair and hatred, she was still afraid to die.
Nobody wanted to die before taking revenge.
Tu Xiuyu tightly clutched the papers in her good hand. It took several moments before insanity took over, and she said, “Alright. I’ll do it.”
