588 City Of Zen.
Yang Dao had split the sky with a slash attack. Balor gulped a mouthful of thick saliva and prayed in his heart for the crack in the void to repair quickly because the pull for such a crack was devastating. The planet was already split in two, any more of such a strong pull and the planet will be destroyed.
It seemed as if the heavens were listening to his prayers, the crack began healing quickly. Yang Dao landed back on the land and found Balor standing near him. He bowed to greet the old man, and asked, “How long has it been, Senior?”
Balor took some time to come up with a proper structure in his mind. Then he said, “It has been a month and a few days. Just now, your completed comprehending the sword intent unique to you?”
Yang Dao nodded and said, “Yes Senior.”
Balor nodded and said, “Then I will ask Bai Hu to arrange for your departure. There is something of utmost importance going on and I suggest that you return immediately and try to do your best.”
Yang Dao nodded but he did not ask much. He was aware that an explanation was waiting for him back at the sect. He nodded and followed the arrangements of the old man. Soon, Bai Hu and Alisha arrived.
In the past month, Alisha’s temperament has also changed and she had taken out her sword from the ring to her waist. She bowed when she saw Yang Dao and the boy shook his head as he said, “Why do you greet me like this even outside the sect? Do you know that I feel very sad about it?”
Alisha smiled and said, “Good to see you too young master.”
Yang Dao gave up on convincing this lady. Bai Hu on the other hand asked, “Do you still have the flagship of your sect? Or do you wish to use, the teleportation array?”
The Dao Child said, “Did your master not say that things are of importance? Why will I waste ten days in a spaceship? Teleport me back to Supremacy immediately.”
Alisha said, “Young Master, we will have to use the teleportation talismans that Sect Master left with me. The flagship has already departed back to the sect two days ago. They were told that some urgent mission has come up.”
Yang Dao nodded and stretched out his hand. He asked, “Let us go.”
The young boy then turned his gaze at Bai Hu and said, “You bid my farewell to Xia Jian, Big brother Bai.”
Bai Hu nodded with a smile and watched as the two people in front of him, tore the talismans and vanished from the place covered in a golden glow.
…
Yang Dao and Alisha felt like they were being squeezed by the void and pushed forward like a bullet that was a thousand times faster. Although it was called a teleportation talisman, it was in reality a rail gun.
…
Sun Eckhart sat in his throne chair with the elders standing in front of him on both sides. He asked, “What happened that you all had to call out for an urgent meeting?”
Elder Bai said, “The invitation from the City Of Zen had changed.”
Sun Eckhart raised his eyebrow in surprise and walked over to stand in the center of the hall, with his gaze focused on the card floating in the void. These invitations were specially sent out by the City Of Zen, and they all were labeled to be accepted by a certain person. The person in the Sovereign sect to accept this was none other than Yang Dao.
Sun Eckhart was looking at the card to see what has changed except the color when suddenly the space tore open and two figures fell out. Alisha and Yang Dao. The boy gazed at the ceiling and then at the elders.
He mumbled, “Why are you all staring at me in such a manner.” ρꪖꪕᦔꪖꪕꪫꪣꫀꪶ
Jing Shui walked over and fed him a healing pill. This pill quickly resolved his injury and also replenished his spiritual essence. Yang Dao sat up on the floor and the card in the void sensed his position. In the next movement, the card few out from the void and vanished inside his forehead.
Yang Dao asked, “What is happening to me?”
Elder Chime said, “It is nothing, you have just accepted the invitation to the City Of Zen.”
Yang Dao asked, “What is this City Of Zen?”
Sun Eckhart said, “The City Of Zen is a secret realm, that opens randomly, every time it opens, the city will send out invitations to all the geniuses of the Immortal Planes. However, the city of zen keeps a strict division. For example, if it had sent out invitations to us in the outer region of the immortal planes, that means, none of the middles of the inner regions can go inside. However, those forces will still arrive at the gateway to try and snatch what you earn from the inside.”
Yang Dao nodded and asked, “What shall we do if they come seeking our treasures?”
Sun Eckhart said, “You will have to find a way to hide the treasures, after all, if they spotted you with a toy, then you will be done for.”
This made the Dao Child a little nervous and Sun Eckhart said, “You do not have to worry about anything, you can use those talismans from inside the city of zen and appear right here inside the elder hall, and no one will know.”
Yang Dao nodded and after some thoughts, he asked, “Who else will be going there with me?”
Sun Eckhart shook his head and said, “Only those with an invitation can enter the City of Zen, and those who enter, they will have protection for a day, and that will be the time to figure out the strategy.”
Yang Dao nodded and said, “Very well, Master.”
…
Time passed slowly, and a week had come to an end, Yang Dao has been focusing on consolidating his sword intent. His mind was not disturbed and neither was he impatient. After a week, Sun Eckhart came to find him at the Cloud Palace.
As they stood in front of each other the old man said, “You have to be careful in there. A lot of people accept the invitation and they all go to the place, however, they do not come back. The scenery of the City Of Zen is like a fallen city, however, the dangers it contains are too tricky. Be careful in there okay?”
Yang Dao nodded and asked, “Master, what is the motive for visiting this place?”
Sun Eckhart shook his head and said, “It was said that this place appeared out of nowhere, some old relics said that it was because the city was looking for its owner. The person who could step inside the city hall will be the owner of the city. But in the past hundred millennia, none has succeded.”
Yang Dao nodded and asked, “What other rules are there?”
“Only those invited can enter, if some force was to try and smuggle inside their people, they will face the wrath of the heavens and the whole power will vanish from the immortal plane.” said Sun Eckhart.
Yang Dao gulped and said, “So cruel. No wonder they said it was a risky and urgent thing.”
Sun Eckhart nodded and let the boy settle things in his mind. Yang Dao asked, “Master, how long will it take for us to get to the destination?”
“We will not be going anywhere, you will be able to wrap inside the City Of Zen, thanks to that invitation in your soul sea. It has a strong teleportation array on it.” said Sun Eckhart.
Yang Dao nodded. The two people continued discussing the things known about the City Of Zen. The more Yang Dao heard, the more he became curious. He wanted to see all the things mentioned by Sun Eckhart.
Unable to calm his heart for a few minutes, Yang Dao began swinging his sword, and right before his practice could finish, he broke through the second level of the nascent realm. Sun Eckhart congratulated him and told him to preserve energy and not to charge in at the sight of battles. Watch and learn, after all, the jungle was never too friendly with people.
Yang Dao began to focus on the meditation again and suddenly his body was covered in purple flame. These flames did not burn him, just made him feel slightly warm and cozy. The next time Yang Dao Opened his eyes he found himself to be standing in a clearing, the place was filled with lush white grass, bright vermillion-colored tree leaves, a bright azure sky, and a black river flowing silently from the side.
To him, this place was something that extended his sense of being. It was as if this place was a part of his body. Like him, Dao Yin was also in the secret realm, but she was trying to get rid of the men behind her and did not have the time to enjoy the scenery. Though she was able to use her elemental skills to cleanse the filth.
