("----Jiu? Ah Jiu?? This child. Why are you standing in a daze?" Her grandfather was shaking her lightly, waking her up from her deep thought.

"huh? Ahh. Nothing. Yeye, let's go to the kitchen and eat breakfa---." Her words were cut off when her grandfather's phone rang. Feng Xuan Tian looked at his phone and immediately turned it off without answering.

"Yeye, what's--"

"Nothing. Nothing. It's for the checkup. Just a regular checkup."

"Oh. Do you want me to go with you at the hospital?'

"No need. My assistant is here to accompany me. Just eat your breakfast. Yeye needs to go." He lightly taps her shoulder, making her feel a little bit guilty.

"Then I'll send you to your car."

"Aiyaa. My granddaughter is really filial. Yeye is glad to have you by my side."

FengJiu smiled and warapped her hands on his arm.

"Yeye is my one and only family. Of course. I love Yeye the most."

"Mmm.. Yeye is hoping that you will give birth to many little Feng Jius like you. Yeye will also love them with all my heart." Feng Jiu was rendered speechless, making her cough a couple of times. She inwardly rolled her eyes and pretended not to hear anything. Both of then went out of the house while being affectionate with each other.

After Feng Jiu and her grandfather left, the man hiding beneath the table stood up, he lightly patted his shoulders as he stared at his dirty pants. His face darkened as he grabbed his phone inside his pocket. He dialed a number and waited for 2 rings before someone answered.

"Sir, where have you been? The meeting will start at------"

"Cancel all my appointment this week." The man's playful aura suddenly vanished. If Feng Jui saw him, she would probably be astonished. The man that was constantly teasing her suddenly turned serious.

"I want you to search everything about this woman called Feng Jiu. The owner of Unit 48-B of Imperial Suite. I want to know everything that concerns her. Her family, business, work... everything-- especially the man she will marry." His assistant was left speechless. He could not believe his boss was trying to dig everything about a woman. This was the first time his boss paid attention to someone in the opposite sex.

'Did boss already find our future Madam, The Family's future Head Mistress?'

"Send it to me later."

"Yes sir."

The man ended the call. He looked at the door where Feng Jiu and her grandfather left.

Thinking of what the old man had said about little Feng Jius running around, the man's eyes darken and a dangerous smile bloomed on his face.

'Feng Jiu... You can only give birth to my children.'

Outside, Feng Jiu accompanied her grandfather towards the car. She saw Assistant Long waiting for them. When he saw them walking side by side, he immediately went out of the car and opened the front door.

"Yeye is fine. You better return and eat. You have to take care of your body. Your health is much precious than the company so you mustn't focus in working and neglect eating and sleeping. Go now." Xuan Tian tried to send Feng Jiu back to her house.

"But---"

"Go on. Long Jin is here. No need to worry. It's just a regular checkup." Her grandfather insisted and lightly pushed her back.

"Fine. I'll go back now. Take care ok? I will visit you this Wednesday." Feng Jiu leaned over and kissed her grandfather's cheeks.

"Assistant Long, I'll trouble you with grandfather. Just inform me if something happens."

"It's my duty, Miss Jiu."

Once again, Feng Jiu said goodbye to Xuan Tian and went back to the elevator. When the elevator closed, Feng Xuan Tian released a series of coughs.

"Chairman!" Assistant Long Jin immediately assisted him inside the car. He tried to dial Feng Jiu's phone number but Xuan Tian stopped him.

"There's no need to inform her about this."

"But Chairman. Shouldn't Miss Jiu-----"

"Enough." Feng Xuan Tian coughed and coughed until his white handkerchief was dyed with blood. He leaned on the seat and closed his eyes.

"To the hospital."

Xuan Tian took a deep breath and opened his mouth to speak.

"Long Jin, did you know why I hide my illness from Feng Jiu?"

Assistant Long shook his head while driving. He had been with Chairman Feng for almost ten years, he had seen and heard things that could even wake up the dead. Even the deepest secret of the Feng Family was known to him but the only thing that he couldn't understand was Chairman Feng's reluctance to tell his granddaughter about his current state and the reason of his illness.

"This subordinate doesn't understand Chairman's reason. Chairman should inform Miss Jiu about your illness. Miss Jiu will be brokenhearted if she finds out that you tried to hide your illness from her."

Hearing Long Jin's words, Xuan Tian shook his head in disagreement. "Feng Jiu looks tough and strong outside but that's just her way of protecting herself--- of protecting me. Ever since both of her parents died in that car accident, Feng Jiu has become antisocial. She withdraws from the outside world and shut herself off. Feng Family is very complex and it's not a secret that all of her aunts and uncles are eyeing the company, wanting to swallow Feng International that Feng Mo and I worked so hard."

Xuan Tian opened his eyes and retrieved a picture hidden inside his wallet. "Mo'er and LuAn never wanted to drag Feng Jiu in the power struggle within the family, but it is I who pushed Feng Jiu in this mess. When she was still small, Feng Jiu was a dazzling little girl. Her smile is as bright as the sun. She's very lively and naughty like a normal child. But everything changed when she was forced to mature early. Like a bird that was caught in a golden cage. She lost her wings and her ability to fly."

Long Jin went silent after hearing Chairman Feng's words. Few minutes later he said, "Chairman, I believe it is Miss Jiu's own decision to take over the family business. I know Miss Jiu doesn't regret abandoning everything in order to protect you. If I may say, Miss Jiu is happy even if she has no freedom as long as you are happy, Chairman."

Xuan Tian shook his head. "No matter how beautiful and precious the cage is, in the end, it is still a cage. How could a bird be happy being imprisoned? It has to fly and soar above the sky." Maybe due to remembering the past, Xuan Tian suddenly felt depressed and started coughing again.

"Chairman." Long Jin suddenly felt awful. He really wanted to inform Feng Jiu but he was just a subordinate and he had to obey the Chairman not because he was afraid to get fired but because Long Jin knew that in this kind of situation, outsiders should not meddle in.

"Just drive to the hospital. You must not let anybody know about my illness, especially those white-eyed wolves[1] lurking in the shadows."

"Yes, Chairman Feng. This subordinate understands."

Feng Jiu went back and found the man sitting on the table, sipping coffee as if everything that happened a while ago was just a figment of her imagination. She sat at the opposite side of the table. She was very hungry from all those 'heart throbbing' and 'mind blowing' struggles she experienced. The man placed some fried bacon and eggs on her plate without saying anything. His movements were very smooth as if he had been practicing ages ago.

Feng Jiu felt awkward. She was not used to being served personally. Granted that they had their own servants in Feng Mansion, Feng Jiu grew up having servants around her but she didn't like to order them around and want to do everything on her own without needing other's assistance. That was the reason why she left the mansion and got her own place to stay. She was reluctant to leave her grandfather alone but she liked to be independent. She would visit him every now and then so all was well.

Aside from being independent, she did not hire anybody to serve her because she wanted to be herself, even just in this tiny place of hers. It was very tiring to act indifferent and uncaring all the time. Her facial muscles hurt from being frozen every time she wore her mask to fool her relatives and employees. Thus, she felt very awkward when the man effortlessly gaved her food as if he was born to serve her.

"Ummm... Thanks." She took a bite and started eating. She looked at him and slowly said, "This may sound weird since we already cooked rice[1] but... who are you?" Two beautiful eyes suddenly glared at Feng Jiu as if the man wanted to drill holes in her body.

'Err.. Fine! Fine! It's all my fault for rolling on the bed with you without knowing your name, okay? No need to look at me like I'm the greatest scum on earth.'

Feng Jiu wanted to stab his eyes with a fork but she held herself back. It would be a waste to destroy this pair of beautiful eyes.

"Eherm... My name is Feng Jiu. What's yours?" She could only smile cheerfully as she tried to fish some information about him.

"MinFeng."

"Oh. MinFeng." Feng Jiu tried to recall if there were some families with a surname 'Min' but she couldn't think of any.

"Okay. I'll go upstairs first. I'll be in the study room. Just knock if you need something. Since you'll be staying here, I hope you will follow the rules and won't disturb me when I'm working. Anything else, you can do whatever you want inside the house."

She immediately flew and ran upstairs as if she was being hunted. She was afraid that the man would continue to pester her and tease her like what happened before her grandfather came. The man just stared at her back as she run for her life.

Feng Jiu fell asleep on her desk while doing some revisions for the documents needed for tomorrow's meeting. Half asleep, she felt her body floated, like someone suddenly carried her.

She could not help but moan in pleasure as she felt the softness of her bed on her back. Minutes later, she was tickled by the tiny kisses on her bare chest.

'Huh?' Feng Jiu opened her eyes and saw MinFeng sucking her breasts. She blushed and tried to push him.

"MinFeng! Stop it." She crossed her hands on her chest, trying to guard her twin peaks.

"Why?"

"I already said that you should follow my rules if you want to stay here!" Feng Jiu tried to reason out.

"I don't want to. You said I could do anything I want inside the house."

"...."

He lowered his head and continued his previous action, sucking her breast like a hungry babe while massaging the other one.

"MinFeng! I have work tomorrow!" He stopped and looked at her.

"No worries. I won't tire you out." and he captured her lips, forbidding her to utter another word. In the night where the moon shined brightly, a man and a woman were passionately engaging in a harmonious ritual. Accompanied by the faint cry of the night creatures, sensual sounds and whispers could be heard inside the room.

Feng Jiu woke up in a daze. She sat up and looked at the wall clock.

'10:16 am.' Feng Jiu's sleepiness went away.

'Oh sh*t! MinFeng!!!! I'm gonna kill that bastard!!!'
