He stared at Wang Che intently.

Wang Che smiled at him, but sighed after a moment. “I want to, but I can’t.”

“Hmm?” From the look on his face, Teacher Zheng could tell that Wang Che didn’t seem to be lying.

“This green caterpillar’s body is stronger than that of the Cloud Cap Snake, even without using its soul power. It’s the first time I’ve seen something as extraordinary as this. It’s already so powerful with just normal attacks under its belt… It really is a pity that soul skills can’t be learned on a whim…”

“No.” Lin Xi shook her head solemnly. “I just wanted to say that this green caterpillar…”

“Hiss! Hiss!” Before she could finish her sentence, the Cloud Cap Snake beside Lin Xi let out a cry.

Wang Che smiled and asked, as if taunting it, “Why, do you want to challenge us again?”

From the way it was acting, he could sense that the Cloud Cap Snake was not satisfied by the results of the encounter earlier.

It was clearly in a fighting spirit now, and wanted to take Wang Che’s caterpillar head-on.

A rematch.

Stunned, Lin Xi quickly responded, “No, there’s no point in fighting now. Your green caterpillar is indeed amazing. I don’t know how you trained it… but… forget it.

“I just wanted to say that if you and I meet during the Enlightenment Cup, I won’t show any mercy.”
