Chapter 254: Zhao Bao VS Kzarka
Chapter 254: Zhao Bao VS Kzarka
A few seconds after Kzarka had left the camp, he discovered a group of 4th-stage cultivators, lurking south of his camp.
Upon seeing the group of human cultivators near his base, his mood became foul.
“Fogan, you idiot! You can’t even deal with those insects. In the end, it’s up to the great me to finish them off!”
Kzarka descended and landed at the center of the cultivators’ camps. He also activated his domain power, which expanded the range of the dragon fire curse from 10 meters to 500 meters!
The orc became a miniature sun. Every flammable object in the range of 500 meters caught fire. Tents, humans, trees, plants, and various weapons were instantly burnt to ashes.
This was the ability of Dragon Fire Curse. It could instantly ignite every flammable object on fire. Combined with Kzarka’s demonic essence and his advanced fire element Qi, the domain fire’s temperature could jump from room temperature to 50,000 Celsius in an instant.
This ability was possible because of a certain artifact, which Kzarka had injected into his heart.
Meanwhile, the group of surviving 4th-stage cultivators panicked. They fled south, heading back toward Siren City.
Kzarka pursued. He simply flew after them and let his curse fire devour everyone in the domain range.
It only took him less than a minute to wipe out the hunting parties from Siren City. He didn’t even need to touch anyone as he simply flew around.
Seeing that everyone had been killed, Kzarka smirked. He puffed his chest and scratched his balls, feeling proud of himself.
“See this, Fogan!? Killing these humans is so simple! You’re such an incompetent bastard that doesn’t deserve to be called a warchief! Once I clear everything, I’ll report this to the emperor, and I’ll sack you from your current position. HAHAHAHA!”
Getting drunk by his confidence, Kzarka flew further south, heading toward the direction that the dead cultivators had tried to reach.
A few minutes later, the orc had reached the city, which was protected by a strange concealment array and a protective array.
Curious, Kzarka flew around the city, scanning the perimeter from the sky.
He discovered a group of 2nd-stage and 3rd-stage cultivators outside of the south wall area. A dozen stragglers lingered around the east wall and the north wall, sitting and cultivating.
All of them had seen Kzarka in the sky, but they didn’t retreat for some reason.
“These arrogant ants are quite brave. They’ve already seen me, but they are staying behind to protect the city? If only my orcs have half of their courage, we wouldn’t have had to submit to the Zhang Clan!”
Kzarka remembered the disgraceful days when Blood Orc Tribe had yielded to a human cultivator clan from the Holy Land. Even their emperor had to bow his head to the people from the Zhang Family.
He was envious of other orc tribes, who had migrated to their secret planes after the war. He even heard that his rival clan, the Wood Orc Tribe, had visited a dryad realm and took some of the dryads as the mothers of their next generation.
But today, Kzarka had forgotten that feeling as he sensed the dense Qi in the air, which came from the center of the city. Moreover, the moat outside the city was filled with clear freshwater, which emitted strong Qi as well.
This city was a treasure itself. The walls, moats, and the dense Qi were suitable to be his new base.
As long as Kzarka had the freshwater source and the Qi-filled city, he might be able to obtain the favor of the orc emperor. Even better, they might be able to establish a new home here and declare independence from the Zhang Clan.
Thinking this far, Kzarka was motivated. He charged toward the center of the city and threw a punch to the city barrier.
DONG
The barrier fluctuated upon impact, and the sound of a bell was audible.
BOOM
The barrier reflected the damage to the attacker. Kzarka was pushed back five meters as the deflected power knocked his fist back.
Kzarka sneered. He unleashed his domain power, planning to burn the barrier dome and any array tool inside the city.
But before everything could catch fire, a giant golden hand smacked him as if he were a fly being hit by a fly swatter.
Kzarka was sent flying a kilometer away to the sky, but he managed to stabilize himself in midair. Then, he focused his curse fire domain toward the attacker’s dao avatar.
Zhao Bao flew out of the dome barrier along with a lotus platform, which supported his feet. The monk stood on the artifact while he stared at the orc.
“Buddha is merciful, benevolent, and kind. If you withdraw, this monk shall pretend that he hasn’t seen you.”
Kzarka was offended as he thought that the monk had looked down on him, “You think you’re a hotshot because of your meager avatar!? You’re no different from other 7th-stage cultivators that I killed, baldy!”
“Also, this monk’s only desire is peace. We have no quarrel with you. Why are you attacking us?”
“Because this place belongs to us now! If you want to live, swear allegiance to us with your dao oath and become our slave!”
Zhao Bao’s face turned solemn. He squinted his eyes, “Buddha is merciful and benevolent. If you wish for us to leave, you must also bring your men and leave the continent. Then, we shall leave the city.”
It was a childish request since Zhao Bao practically asked Kzarka to retreat everyone from the continent first, but Kzarka wouldn’t be able to claim the city either.
“Nonsense! Did you hear what I said? This fucking city belongs to us! Now, scram, or I’ll kill everybody here!”
“Buddha is merciful, but he can only forgive you thrice. If you leave here quietly, he shall overlook this insolence.”
Zhao Bao always hinted that Buddha was merciful, benevolent, and kind whenever he wanted to fight. The 2nd warning was always shorter, and the 3rd warning was the shortest. Nobody had realized yet that he had intentionally said it to unlock some of his dao’s abilities.
“Argh! You stupid humans can’t even speak a proper language. I feel stupid talking to you. Just die, then!” Kzarka roared and charged at Zhao Bao.
The monk raised his eyebrows, astonished by the idiocy of this giant orc.
Still, Zhao Bao had completed all conditions to unlock his domain abilities. He clapped his hands, and a colossus Buddha statue with ten arms appeared behind him.
The ten arms of the Buddha statue faded, but they reappeared in front of Kzarka. Ten golden palms flew toward the orc.
Kzarka sneered. He increased the curse dragon fire’s power and flew toward them.
Both Zhao Bao and Kzarka’s domains overlapped!
As soon as Kzarka’s domain had reappeared, the illusory Buddha statue palms were instantly melted into gold liquid. The orc flew through them as they no longer had enough power to do anything against him.
Zhao Bao widened his eyes in shock. As the orc had gotten close, the monk instinctively got into a fighting stance, getting ready to use Huangjin Holy Fist Techniques, the completed version of Huangjin Close-Combat Series.
But when Kzarka’s domain reached him, his orange robes and kasaya suddenly caught fire and were burnt to ashes instantly!
The dragon fire also ignited his flesh on fire!
“!!!”
Zhao Bao flew backward, getting away from Kzarka’s domain influence. He also changed his strategy by using his domain power to push back the orc’s domain range.
As for his burning skin, he simply circulated his light element to the burnt parts, and everything was extinguished. Zhao Bao also didn’t forget about decency as he put on a new robe.
Seeing the miserable state of the monk, Kzarka thought that he would have an easy fight.
“FAHAHAHAHA!! It’s too late! You can’t escape from my domain-FUCK!!”
SWUA
SWUA
While Kzarka had been pursuing Zhao Bao and having a tunnel-vision, he suddenly sensed two expanding domain powers from below.
Moreover, he was cut and stabbed by something invisible!
Fortunately, the wounds were shallow. The two strange domains just now had only slightly covered a part of his torso, so it couldn’t display its full power.
“TSK!!”
Sensing the two lurking nascent soul cultivators, Kzarka stopped chasing Zhao Bao and kept his distance from the city. He also paid attention to other domains as he used his curse dragon fire domain to push them back.
Zhao Bao also didn’t pursue the orc. He stopped moving and paced his breath. He secretly swallowed a mouthful of blood as he had suffered slight injury from the damage on his dao avatar’s palms and the cursed fire.
Jia Shan and Ma Ping didn’t come out of the concealment array. They hid inside the dark dome, waiting for an opportunity to ambush Kzarka. Both of them hid their domain power, waiting for Kzarka to get into their range again.
The orc could read through their intention. He bellowed in frustration, “Cowards! Come out and fight like a warrior if you have a dick! Don’t fight like a sow, you monkey trash!”
The nascent soul cultivators inside the city didn’t reply. However, Zhao Bao had an inspiration, and he purposely changed his expression.
A rare sneer appeared on Zhao Bao’s face, “Ah, a pig is always a pig. Stop squealing, you useless pork chop. Didn’t your mother teach you not to squeal like a dying pig when you’re facing a stronger foe? Oh, excuse me. I don’t think your mother could even teach you anything. I doubt she even cares if you’re her son since you’re so ugly that my eyes bled when I look at your face. Oh well, your mother probably only thinks about orc dick all-day since all orc mothers usually fuck everyone that moves. You’ll have to rely on your father to teach you about manners. Oh wait, come to think of it, I doubt you know which orc is your father either. I guess I have to pray to Buddha to find you which orc’s seed gave birth to you.”
Inside the concealment barrier, Jia Shan and Ma Ping stared at Zhao Bao, dumbfounded. The others who heard the remarks also broke a sweat as it felt weird to see a righteous monk proactively provoke someone.
Unfortunately, the taunt was not effective. Kzarka was cool-headed enough not to fall for an obvious provocation. After all, he had earned the Grand Warchief title through his hard work and wisdom. Unlike what Fogan had evaluated him, Kzarka was a capable warchief, who knew when to fight or retreat in a certain situation.
Kzarka snorted and retorted, “At least, I get to fuck countless sows! I doubt you even score a proper sow in your life!”
“…”
The taunt backfired. The corner of Zhao Bao’s mouth twitched for a moment before he sighed, “Amitabha, I guess this verbal exchange is going nowhere. This is a declaration of war, I assume.”
Zhao Bao’s eyes darkened. He ignored Kzarka and looked toward the north, “Well, since you can’t attack my city by yourself, I wonder if you can defend your base properly.”
“!!!”
Kzarka realized Zhao Bao’s intention. The latter threatened to counterattack against his camp. With three 7th-stage cultivators, they could easily ignore Kzarka and go for the weaker orcs, which would ruin the grand plan of his emperor.
He regretted provoking the hidden forces in this city.
‘Fuck! Fogan must have known about this! That bastard is keeping this information to himself on purpose! This is treason!’
Realizing his mistake, Kzarka planned to retreat. However, his pride refused to give in.
Then, he remembered the priority that his emperor had ordered him to do. It was not to eradicate all humans from the surroundings, but he was ordered to construct a portal, so the other main forces could come to this continent.
Kzarka grinned. Since his mission was to buy time, he didn’t need to fight these people head-on.
“I have a proposition,” Kzarka had a plan. “I know that we have a bad start, but let’s talk.”
Zhao Bao still sneered at the orc, “Why peace? Let’s continue fighting, motherfucker! Who the fuck do you think you’re messing with!?”
The monk turned around, revealing the symbol “OG” behind his back, “You see this shit? You mess with the wrong gangster, fool!”
Kzarka: “…”
Jia Shan & Ma Ping: “…”
Everyone inside the city: “…”
…
Cao Mao, Jiang Lan, and others had been observing the battle from inside the city.
About 20 minutes ago, Jiang Lan and Cao Mao had been bombarded by Zhao Bao, Ma Ping, and Jia Shan’s questions. They had interrogated them of how they had obtained the supreme succubus bloodline and how Jiang Lan had inherited them.
Cao Mao managed to dodge the questions by telling them that he had obtained a drop of blood essence from Xu Xiuying’s warehouse when he was still her underling. Still, the three elders had interrogated Jiang Lan further as they had found her constitution unusual.
Unfortunately, before they could even finish the examination, Kzarka appeared.
Jia Shan and Ma Ping couldn’t go outside of the concealment array as they might be vulnerable to Kzarka’s unique domain power. They used Zhao Bao as bait to draw the orc’s attention, but they had failed.
Now, everything led to a stalemate.
Also, everyone was astonished by Zhao Bao’s broken kayfabe. The “Buddha is merciful” part was gone, being replaced with “I’m a gangster, fool!”
The monk kept getting ruder and more obscene as the fight had prolonged. He no longer acted like a decent monk but more like a street hoodlum.
Even Xiao Fei and Zhao Yun’s faces went blank from shock.
Cao Mao snapped back to his senses first. He stopped paying attention to Zhao Bao’s behavior and looked around, searching for anything that he could use to help in this situation. He was aware that he was powerless against a 7th-stage cultivator, but he wanted to contribute something to defeat the giant orc.
After all, that orc had come for the tower and the city.
‘Is there anything I can do to help?’
[Your sponsor suggests you go out and fight the orc.]
‘Are you insane!? I’m a fucking 4th-stage cultivator, but the orc is 7th-stage! It’s suicide!’
[Your sponsor has given you a new side-quest.]
