Chapter 739: After War Politics

Chapter 737 – After War Politics

The bright sky and the warmth of the sunlight blessed Miaomiao’s room with Yang Qi. Miaomiao slowly regained the feeling in his fingertips and toes.

Strangely, something felt wet and warm on his crotch.

Miaomiao opened his eyes. He lifted his hand and rested his arm on his forehead, recollecting his thoughts after waking up.

‘Where am I? Oh, right. I fainted. What a disgrace.’

He glanced at his blanket, which was moving up and down in a rhythm. He flipped it over.

Xiong Zhenzhen was there, giving him a mouth service. She looked up while the thing was inside her mouth. Then, she winked at him and continued milking.

“Dear, oh dear. I guess I have to punish you for starting it.”

Miaomiao pulled her up and pushed her on the bed, bullying his chambermaid.

.

After exchanging Qi with Xiong Zhenzhen for a day, Miaomiao got out of his room and found himself in Mao Clan’s manor. He took several deep breaths and scanned the area.

No battle, no war.

The breezy wind carried the salty smell from the ocean. No foul iron smell of human blood was in the air.

As his city was at peace once again, Miaomiao was relaxed. He walked back to his room, planning to resume another marathon session of dual cultivation.

Unfortunately, someone from his clan stopped him.

‘Miao’er. Come to the hall. Everyone wants to talk to you.’

Mao Shan’s weary voice sounded pitiful. Miaomiao’s boner was killed.

“Okay, father. I’ll be right there.”

He put on proper clothes and searched for Killer Queen. Fortunately, she was in her katana form, and she was hung next to Miaomiao’s bed. He took his partner and flew toward the grand hall, where he sensed several life signatures of a hundred guests.

When Miaomiao arrived, he discovered several groups of guests in front of the hall and in the manor. They gazed at Miaomiao in admiration and cleared a path for him to enter the grand hall building.

Half of the guests wore the red official uniform of the Wu Empire. As for the other half, they wore modern sailor suits, but the flag on their chest represented the United States of Wei.

Miaomiao simply nodded at the guests and entered the building.

Inside the grand hall, elders and adults with fancy robes had been sitting at their banquet tables, enjoying the food and drinks in front of them. When they noticed Miaomiao’s arrival, they stood up and cupped their fists.

“Young Master Mao!”

“Young Hero Mao!”

Most of them didn’t mind their seniority and bowed their heads to Miaomiao in respect. Only two guests that had been sitting on the honored seats kept their heads high.

One of them had been sitting on the throne, forcing Mao Shan to sit at the side chair. He was a burly middle-aged white-haired man with a golden robe and a white tiger skin as a scarf.

As for another one, she was a refined long black-haired woman in a modern suit, who seemed to be in her early 20s. Although she wore a white plastic mask to hide the upper half of her face, Miaomiao could tell that she was a paled-skin beauty, judging from her nose, mouth, and face shape. Her black eyes, dark sclera, however, seemed sinister as if she hid the darkest abyss in her eyes.

The woman turned toward Miaomiao. As soon as their eyes met, Miaomiao recognized her right away.

‘Wow, Devil. Are you addicted to being a woman? You look fine as hell.’

Miaomiao glanced at Devil’s followers. He also noticed familiar aura signatures from the women behind her.

Xu Huang, Xu Xiuying, Xu Lanying, Xu Chu, and Dian Wei were present! They didn’t have the former succubus or monster-like physique anymore, but the five of them looked like regular cultivators in this world, except they wore white plastic masks and modern black suits as if they were secret service agents.

Xu Chu lifted her mask and winked at Miaomiao. The latter also smirked as he caught on to the hint.

‘The reunion night is going to be wild. Oh, well. Façade first. What’re these guys preparing for me?’

Miaomiao stopped being sidetracked and knelt in front of the emperor of the Wu Empire.

“Junior Mao Miaomiao sees the emperor. May you live ten thousand years!”

He followed an ancient custom by praising the emperor even though he had no idea how he should greet this person in a gold robe.

Sun Jian, formerly known as Sun Wentai in his previous life, had no memory of the past. He raised his wine cup.

“Well met, Hero of Wu. Stand up and raise your head. Let me see your face.”

“Yes, your majesty.”

Miaomiao stood tall and faced the emperor. He also gauged the emperor’s strength.

3-star stellar constellation immortal.

It was not bad. However, Miaomiao began to doubt Mu-Nyang as the latter had told him that not many people ascended. But now, he saw so many immortal beings left and right.

In this room, the Xu clanswomen were all immortals. Dian Wei was a 2-star stellar constellation immortal while the other guests in this room were 1-star immortals. Devil was also impressive as she had the same rank as Sun Jian.

Mao Shan, who was a 9th-stage cultivator, became the weakest man among the people here. His shoulders drooped, losing his confidence as the top sect master of Celestial Sword Sect.

Miaomiao noticed the gloomy atmosphere among Mao Shan’s group. Now, he figured out why he sounded so exhausted. These immortals might have bullied or oppressed him with their presence.

Sun Jian noticed that Miaomiao’s eyes shifted left and right as if the latter was inspecting the surroundings.

“Don’t worry, child. We’re not here to bully your father or your clan. Actually, we’re here to reward you. You contributed so much to our defense against the invaders, and we want to see the hero of our country.”

“For now,” Devil scoffed.

Sun Jian turned to Devil, “Don’t be rude, Miss President. Mao Clan’s members are my citizens. They have nothing to do with you.”

“That’s because you have no idea who Mao Miaomiao is. Oh, well, I talked too much.”

Xu Chu, Xu Xiuying, and Dian Wei giggled as they were aware of Miaomiao’s behavior in the previous life. As for Xu Huang and Xu Lanying who didn’t eat the Silver Qi, they glanced at their colleagues in confusion.

Because of the laughter, Sun Jian was annoyed. He purposely emitted killing intent and focused on Devil. The latter also did the same and glared at Sun Jian.

“What an ingrate emperor. We sacrificed so many immortals to protect you, but you openly threaten me because of a trivial joke. But seriously, do you understand what you’re doing?”

Sun Jian yelled, “I’m asking you the same question! What do you think you’re doing? You’re threatening to poach my valuable citizen from my country! This is a violation of our alliance agreement, Cao Cao!”

“I never hint or threaten anybody here. Everything is your imagination.”

“I see how it is. So you wanna go?!”

“ENOUGH!”

Miaomiao yelled at Sun Jian before they started fighting. He glanced at Devil as he knew that she wasn’t at fault. It was Sun Jian who escalated it.

“Listen here. I risked my life to protect the people. But what is this? I didn’t even see you in the battle, but you’re here causing trouble for me and my father. If you’re here to pick a fight, I suggest you go out there and chase after that Oni Army. Don’t waste our precious time here. I need to cultivate and solidify my strength!”

“…”

Sun Jian’s followers were agape in shock as they didn’t expect Miaomiao to lash out at their emperor.

“INSOLENCE!”

“Who do you think you are?! Kneel!”

As Miaomiao had expected, Sun Jian’s followers yelled at Miaomiao. Some of them even pointed their fingers at Mao Shan.

“How did you raise your son like this? How dare he disrespect the emperor?”

“Treason! This is treason! Mao Shan, your family is a disgrace!”

As soon as they started cursing Mao Shan, Miaomiao unleashed his killing intent and sword domain. He unsheathed Killer Queen and sliced off the fingers of the officials, who just pointed their fingers at Mao Shan’s face.

The severed fingers rotted and turned black in an instant. As for the hands of the troublemakers, they also let out a sizzling sound as they were burnt by the black flame from Killer Queen.

“Didn’t your mother teach you that pointing at someone’s face when you’re talking is rude?” Miaomiao scorned.

“AAAAHH!!”

The injured officials held their fingerless hands in pain.

SHING

SHING

Huang Gai and others drew their swords and spears. They pointed at Miaomiao and Mao Shan’s necks.

Miaomiao sneered at the emperor.

“Look what you have started. Do you want to continue? I don’t mind surrendering to Kishin Douji or changing my nationality right now.”

“…”

Sun Jian widened his eyes. He shifted his gaze to his men and raised his hand.

“STAND DOWN!”

The followers of Sun Jian pulled back their weapons, but they still stared at Miaomiao. The latter spat and sheathed Killer Queen.

Sun Jian sighed. He stood up and cupped his hand. Then, he bowed to Miaomiao.

“As the leader of these people, I would like to extend my deepest apologies to Young Hero Mao. Please forgive our insolence.”

“YOUR MAJESTY!”

The crowd was shocked that Sun Jian lowered his head for the youngster. They rushed to him and forced the emperor to raise his head.

Miaomiao slightly nodded. He didn’t want to escalate the trouble.

“Alright. Don’t let it happen again.”

“Of course,” Sun Jian let out a sigh of relief, but Huang Gai and others still glared at Miaomiao in resentment.

Mao Shan stood up and coughed, attempting to control the meeting.

“Ahem. Well, now that my son is here, let’s continue our talk. We’re here to reward him, no?”

Despite his attempt, the banquet mood was sour. Even the zither music resumed, none of the banquet attendees enjoyed the food or drink anymore.

Miaomiao sneered at the people from Wu Empire, who had pointed their fingers at Mao Shan earlier. He walked toward Devil’s table and purposely sat next to her.

The agent women behind Devil didn’t bother stopping him. Instead, they cleared a way for him to sit next to their president.

“Mind if I sit here?”

Devil shrugged, “Our country believes in equality. Go ahead.”

“How nice. How Americanish. Is that your idea?”

“Surprised?”

“Obviously.”

Miaomiao raised a wine cup and had a toast with Devil in front of Sun Jian and others.

Mao Shan bitterly smiled as things spiraled out of control. He glanced at Sun Jian and others. As he had expected, the expressions of Sun Jian’s followers were ugly. Fortunately, Sun Jian maintained his composure and stated his business.

“Young Hero Mao.”

“Yes?” Miaomiao stopped chatting with Devil. However, his empty hand secretly slid into Devil’s pants and groped her butt.

Devil pretended that nothing had happened. Nobody but her agents noticed it, but they didn’t stop Miaomiao.

Sun Jian proceeded, “We are discussing how and what we should reward you for your contribution. Do you have anything you want specifically?”

Miaomiao pondered for a moment. Then, he recalled something.

“By chance, among your clan members, is there a person by the name Sun Yun?”

Sun Jian brightly smiled as he had an idea, “That’s my eldest daughter. Why? Do you know her? I never told anybody about her name or let her outside. How did you know her?”

“Just a coincidence and my curiosity.”

“Now that you mentioned my daughter’s name, I have an idea.”

Sun Jian sneered at Devil, but the latter grinned as if she had predicted what he was thinking.

“Young Hero Mao, are you married?”

“I have a fiancé and a chambermaid, though.”

“Hahaha! A true man has three wives and seven concubines. Having one or two wives is nothing,” Sun Jian narrowed his eyes, “How about I invite you and your family to live in the palace? I’ll introduce my daughter to you.”

“That would be nic-ouch.”

“Hmm?”

“N-Nothing. For now, I would like to concentrate on solidifying my foundation and cultivation base. I have no plan on traveling elsewhere at the moment.”

“I see. That’s a shame.”

Miaomiao glanced at Devil, who had slipped her hands into Miaomiao’s pants and got a hold of his hardened rod. She was squeezing and stroking it to punish Miaomiao.

She sent a sound transmission to him.

‘Am I still your King Piece?’

Miaomiao winked, ‘Of course, you are, my dear mother.’

‘Marry me first. If you marry Sun Yun, you’ll get entangled in the stupid monarchy system. You don’t belong here.’

‘I know. But for now, I need to help my family first. Look at Jia Shan. He’s sweating profusely over there. Isn’t he pitiful?’

‘I’ll find a way to migrate your entire family to my country later.’

‘Thanks.’

While Miaomiao and Devil were secretly talking, Sun Jian was also lobbying Mao Shan.

‘I’m planning to wed my daughter to your son and make him a duke. How about it? Want to join my family?’

Mao Shan’s eyes gleamed as he stared at Sun Jian. He reluctantly nodded.
