Chapter 223 - The Gift That Keeps On Giving
Chapter 223 – The Gift That Keeps On Giving
Rui Fei waited patiently for his treat like a pup who had played dead when his owner asked him to and now he was waiting for his reward with his ears perked up.
Ji Yao who was doing his best to hold Rui Fei's limp body up looked around with a glint of reluctance on his face. His face was scalding hot like he was running a fever but in truth, he was simply too embarrassed that he couldn't contain himself.
"How about….. how about I kiss you when we get back?" asked Ji Yao trying to negotiate.
It seemed like the moment he was faced with Rui Fei's pitiable expression on that enchanting face his anger from earlier had dissipated. He had completely forgotten that this person had put himself in danger when he was meant to be safe on Lan Wu's ship.
Rui Fei who had been scorched by the eternal flame and almost ended up as an appetizer for that gluttonous creature also felt like he wouldn't resign unless he gets a kiss. So he moistened his lips while caressing Ji Yao's waist as a way to express his unwillingness.
Ji Yao groaned internally as a sharp tingle spread from his lower half. This was pure seduction, a subtle way to entice him. If he was to get hard in this place he would lose even more face. It was better to just give Rui Fei what he wanted so they could move on.
"Fine," said Ji Yao before leaning down intending to give a light peck on the lips but how could Rui Fei accept such a small appetizer? He would much prefer a deep passionate kiss as compensation for all his trouble.
The kiss that was meant to be a fleeting touch suddenly became erotic with Rui Fei tightly gripping Ji Yao's waist while parting the man's lips deepening the kiss. In this dim-lit pit with thick dust flying everywhere and debris scattered all over the ground, a romantic scene was acted out like that in the movies when the hero saves the beauty.
This place wasn't ideal for such a passionate kiss and Ji Yao wanted to resist at first with his one hand on Rui Fei's chest lightly pushing him away but when the youth's tongue swept beneath his, he shuddered and let out an involuntary groan from the depth of his throat.
Rui Fei's lips quirked into a sly smile as though he had discovered something interesting. Wanting to hear him make that sweet sound again he caressed Ji Yao's tongue with his trying to find that sweet spot that had this man let out such a lewd sound.
But before he could find it, Ji Yao suddenly leaned back trying to run away. Rui Fei chased after him with their lips plastered together refusing to let him off. Ji Yao who could feel the heat rising south of the border couldn't help but end this blissful experience. He turned his head to the side and Rui Fei's lips landed on his cheek.
Feeling a little aggrieved Rui Fei rested his forehead on the side of Ji Yao's face and because he was taller he had to bend his neck to lower his head. With his hands now slowly moving a little lower he said, "Yao-ge, let's make out one more time. I won't bother you after this, I promise," taking in the scent that both soothed him and drove him insane at the same time.
There was no way in hell Ji Yao was going to believe such nonsense. Rui Fei was like a gluttonous beast when it came to such things. He was never satiated which meant if Ji Yao made the mistake of letting him have his way things would undoubtedly escalate.
"Ahem… didn't you say you wanted a piggyback ride?" asked Ji Yao meaning to destruct him and as expected it worked. Rui Fei moved back a little with a radiant smile before turning Ji Yao around by the shoulders to hop on his back.
To demonstrate how indulgent he was towards Rui Fei he let him ride his back without any signs of displeasure. Seeing this scene one would think Ji Yao was bewitched or something especially when he always wore an indifferent expression when facing other people.
One can only imagine everyone's expression when they saw their king carrying a youth taller than him on his back. To make matters worse Rui Fei's hands weren't idle. His arms were over Ji Yao's shoulder roaming around his chest like he was looking for something. If Ji Yao was a girl this would be counted as sexual assault.
From where the crew stood they eavesdropped on a vexing conversation. It was both an argument yet at the same time could be considered flirtatious. One word that could possibly sum up this conversation would be banter. It was the banter between lovers abusing these single dogs once more. It went like this:
Rui Fei: Yao-ge you smell so good.
Ji Yao: Will you stop….. it tickles.
Ji Yao: Where do you think you are placing your hands?
Rui Fei: I am looking for something (rubbing Ji Yao's chest).
Pa!
Rui Fei: Ouch… Yao-ge, why did you smack my hand. Ai… it's red now.
Ji Yao: I didn't even smack you that hard. Now behave otherwise I will drop you.
Rui Fei: Okay, relax….. no need to threaten me. I will be good.
Ji Yao: You should also eat less in the future….. you are so heavy.
Rui Fei:?
These two were a gift that keeps on giving. They were continuously sprinkling dog food everywhere and no one was spared including the Yinying creature that had retreated in its lair. It had thrown up a big fuss when it returned to its shipwreck struggling to heal its wounds while turning everything upside down.
After calming down it used the power of the keystone to see what they were doing as its wounds slowly healed. Looking down at the water surface showing this group of people who had no idea they were being watched it felt annoyed by this lovey-dovey couple displaying their affections in front of everyone.
What gave them the right to display their affections in public when it didn't even have a mate? Just as its leg angrily descended to slap the surface of the puddle it felt an ominous black seed sprouting among the group.
Its leg paused midair as it looked searchingly on the glossy surface. Its sight fell on a very familiar figure. It was coming from the girl from earlier, the one it almost snacked on before it got caught.
With a strange idea cropping up its head it suddenly transformed into a shadow before a figure gradually formed in the hazy mist.
A house divided among itself was the easiest to conquer and since it found the crack on the porcelain jar, it would take full advantage of it.
