Chapter 359 - Dropping F Bombs In Front Of His Mother
Chapter 359 – Dropping F Bombs In Front Of His Mother
The corner of Qilin Hao's lips twitched with a cold glint in her eyes as she said, "That's exactly what I want." As soon as she said this a bright red flame shot out of her mouth targeting Huishe Yue. In other words, this is the moment when things got seriously messed up.
The two Huishe dodged her attack with their slithering bodies diving down before sharply shooting upwards avoiding the water surface. It was then Qilin Kai and Emperor Rui realised they didn't even need to lift a finger.
He just needed to let Qilin Hao do everything and reap the benefits. Once she had exhausted her strength he would finish her off and finally have his vengeance.
"What the fuck are you doing!" yelled Ji Yao as Rui Fei steadied his body and noticed her flame following Huishe Yue. Ji Yao leapt off Rui Fei's back as he unsheathed his sword to deflect the flame from Huishe Yue. Meeting the Qilin's flame head on Ji Yao's sword made a high pitched sound and redirected the flame to the skies.
A pissed off Huishe Yue descended towards her having possibly lost his shit already. Seeing this Rui Fei whipped his tail at his uncle and wrapped it around him before pulling him back tossing him into the sea.
This action completely exhausted Rui Fei's strength to keep his true form especially after he had already fought Qilin Kai earlier. He transformed back into human form as he hovered above the water surface waiting for his uncle to come up.
Like a devil crawling out of hell, Huishe Yue resurfaced his expression eerie and dark with a black fog surrounding his body. He bellowed at the Qilin with his chest rising and falling deeply. The only reason why he didn't make a move was because his nephew was in front of him blocking his path.
Qilin Hao's flame abruptly died down as she shifted her gaze at her son. She regretted it now. She should have locked this cub with her in that underground palace when she left Ji Wen.
That way he wouldn't be so disrespectful and unaware of the enemy's true identity. Having her son constantly defying her meant she won't be able to get rid of the Huishe like this. That's when she realised she wasn't a single parent. She didn't conceive this child by herself.
"Ji Wen, watch your son," she commanded her gaze fixed on Ji Yao.
Ji Wen, "…"
He really didn't expect to have this pot thrown over his head. This wouldn't have been a problem if he hadn't discovered that the so-called Huishe with grey coloured skin was actually that boy he forced his son to be friends with. This was the moment he knew… he fucked up.
Ji Yao's gaze shifted to his father and the pair locked eyes for a moment. Both his wife and his kid were looking at him wondering who he was going to side with. Logic was telling him that he should side with his son considering that he had set his son up with that boy to be friends but…. he also knows the statement 'happy wife happy life' so…
Seeing Ji Wen's face softened towards Qilin Hao, Ji Yao's brow twitched as his sword extended into a whip. It was as though he was saying, "You really want to fight old man then let's fight. I am not afraid of you."
Just when you think this wouldn't get any worse, Qilin Kai who was sitting cross-legged in his human form enjoying the good show decided it was in his best interest to expose a little secret that the dear parents didn't know about their son.
"Oh by the way cousin, I forgot to mention that your good son over here is also dating that Huishe he was sitting on earlier. And from the way they were sharing a cabin on the ship they have most likely don-… fuck!" The cursing at the end was because Ji Yao cracked his whip sword in his direction. I mean who would want their secrets spilt to their parents, right?
Ji Wen, "…."
Qilin Hao, "….."
"Oh, he is so dead," said Qilin Hao through gritted teeth as she changed target from Huishe Yue to the Huishe cub who was busy trying to coax his uncle not to be rash.
Ji Yao would naturally not let that happen. He rushed over to stop her but because his father was also madly rushing towards Rui Fei, Ji Yao had to stop him as well. This is to say the clash between Huishe Yue and Qilin Hao was inevitable.
Since this had spiralled out of control and the real culprits were left alone, Qilin Luse had to take matters into his own hands. He couldn't easily beat Qilin Kai but he was most definitely going to give it his all.
Gathering the small group of Nocru loyal to Qilin Hao he made a move on the relaxed Qilin Kai and Emperor Rui. A serious family fight broke out at sea as the storm surged but none of them seemed to care for the bad weather.
Ji Wen who was stopped wasn't too pleased about this. He didn't dare deal a heavy hand on his son but he wanted to beat that Huishe boy black and blue. Unfortunately for him, Ji Yao didn't think the same way.
He wasn't planning on going easy on his father for several reasons. One, he was determined to protect Rui Fei at any cost and two, he was pissed at his father for choosing his mother over him and leaving him behind without a word.
Yes, saving him wasn't the only objective he had gone after the keystones but it was also as important. After going through all that shit and almost losing his life it turned out the person didn't even need saving. So yes, he was very livid.
Ji Wen couldn't carry on fighting his son for an outsider so he decided to subdue him with one final blow and talk some sense into him. But what he failed to realise was that his son had grown much more powerful than himself after having gone through life-threatening events.
With his sabre raised high, he summoned multiple lightning bolts. A wave of vicious streaks of lightning gathered at the tip of his sabre before he swung it at Ji Yao. Ji Yao arched his back dodging the attack as his blazing whip sword wrapped Ji Wen's ankles and dragged him making him lose his footing.
In a matter of seconds, Ji Yao had his father in a chokehold with his whip sword tightly coiled on Ji Wen's ankles. All Ji Wen knew was that he felt extremely hot and if he tried to move the heat would increase exponentially. This kind of heat wasn't the type that burns the skin but the kind that seeps into the skin and burn his aetherial veins.
He couldn't believe that the son he raised would actually have the audacity to attack him. He couldn't accept it so much so that he asked, "The fuck…… did he bewitch you or something otherwise why would you attack me."
