Chapter 653 - The Mad Woman on the Streets I
Chapter 653: The Mad Woman on the Streets I
She pulled at her hair and muttered loudly, “Lu Zhaoyang, Lu Zhaoyang, Lu Zhaoyang!!”
The moment that woman appeared, she lost everything and had to hide in this dilapidated rented apartment, where she was constantly harassed by those pigs.
If she could not have a good life, then neither should Huo Yunting and that woman!
She looked at a photo of Huo Yunting carrying the boy on her phone. Her lips arched into a cold smile.
She sat on the cold floor tiles for two whole hours until her entire body felt numb. Then, she slowly stood up.
Ming Yue had not been eating well recently and spent most of her time indoors. She was emaciated and pale, like she had aged a few years. She no longer looked like the glowing actress that she once was.
She rubbed her belly in hunger and opened the fridge. It was empty.
She walked to the window and pulled the curtains to let the sunlight pour in.
She thought that she should really go outside. If she stayed in there any longer, her mind would start to waste.
She changed into a fresh set of clothes and put on a face mask and a pair of sunglasses before stepping outside of her apartment that she had rented for half a month so far.
The apartment felt very different from outside. At least she could hear people talking outside.
Her apartment did not even have TV.
“Does Master Ting really have a son? I’m so torn, it’s amazing how he kept this secret for so long!”
“He must be using Ming Yue as a distraction to protect the mother’s identity, right? If you think about that, Ming Yue’s fall from grace must be because the woman is unhappy with her!”
Two ladies walking past her were gossiping excitedly as they browsed on their phones.
“What are you talking about? Huo Yunting is mine!!”
Ming Yue ran toward them and screamed like a mad woman.
“Who’s this crazy lady?!”
“Enough! She must be one of Master Ting’s loyal fans, ignore her!”
The two women spoke harshly against her but picked up their pace. They were intimidated by her.
Ming Yue continued walking and found that many people were discussing about Huo Yunting and the boy.
Whenever she heard someone talking about it, she would confront them and reject their ideas loudly.
The people on the streets thought she was some lunatic and avoided her.
“That boy is definitely President Huo’s son. Just look at those eyes, they are the exact same shape as his. They are definitely father and son!”
Ming Yue heard this from three ladies walking in her direction.
“No! That’s not Huo Yunting’s son! Shut up!” She stomped toward them gestured frantically.
All the people she had confronted earlier had merely talked back before avoiding her. Hence, Ming Yue grew more and more reckless.
However, this time was different.
“She sounds so familiar… and the sunglasses… Oh, it’s Ming Yue! Oh, Ming Yue, I was your fan. You look so skinny now!”
The second lady put her phone away and started to scrutinize her. “You were a superstar! Since we were your fans, could you take off your mask and sunglasses and take a we-fie with us?”
“Yeah, we missed you, and now you finally showed yourself…”
Ming Yue did not expect this reaction, so she froze on the spot and allowed the ladies to remove her disguise.
