Chapter 169 - Strange Mountainside.
Isaac left the building after telling everyone that games had been played after ‘Ormond’ won.
He used a special technique called LYING!
He didn’t want others players to go after him for rewards, which doesn’t exist in material form.
The Players left reluctantly and became angry at Ormond. Some of them even made plans to hunt Ormond down and steal the rewards.
Isaac dodged a bullet with his special technique, and no one even questioned him because a camera was flying around him.
Streamers usually want to keep a good image and wouldn’t lie.
After leaving the building and entering the busy streets.
He pressed a button in the Streaming Screen, and soon, the stream’s pause disappeared.
The chat instantly asked what happened and why was he in the streets all of a sudden.
”Sorry for the pause.” Isaac apologized and walked to a nearby alleyway before starting to answer the questions, ”Games are over— it was a scam.”
[Divinity (Mod): Scam? Shit]
[Tyrant: Ahhhh, waste of time!]
Isaac shrugged and, out of habit, looked at the viewer count and started rubbing his eyes after he thought he was hallucinating.
[Viewers: 31]
”31…” After making sure that he saw right, he scratched his head out of disbelief and saw messages popping up in the chat.
*Ding* *Ding*
Out of nowhere, a notification popped up.
[Sandy has subscribed for 1 month!]
”Ah…” Isaac exclaimed, ”Sandy, thank you for your subscription.” He quickly looked around the alleyway before leaving and continuing his walk in the busy streets.
[Sandy: You are indeed… A very unique specimen]
Isaac glanced at the chat, ”Don’t say it like I am an alien of some sort.” He turned left in the streets and walked past a group of people, who were wearing heavy armory, and some had Healer’s robes.
He glanced at two of the individuals with a very heavy armory, shield, and sword. They were near 2 meters in height, maybe even bigger, making everyone around them look like ants.
Isaac felt his neck aching after having to look up, to even see the faces of the individuals. He rubbed his neck and continued his walk while the men in armor and women in healer’s robes turned left, where Isaac came from and disappeared soon from the sight.
He moved the stream chat closer, so he could see it better because he was about to ask questions.
”What should we do now? Any secret quests you guys would know?” Isaac asked and entered a crossroad.
He had a choice to go straight, left or right.
Right leads to the City Square, which he doesn’t really want a visit.
Left leads to a Slum area, and he doesn’t want to go there either.
Straight leads to the City Gates.
The chat exploded into a heated discussion, and most of them suggested to go increase his level, to which Isaac agreed even it feels boring to do all the time.
But then, he remembered something.
‘I have the XP Boost Potion…’ He completely forgot that he received one from HolySword.
”Let’s go grind XP,” Isaac said and opened his Interface first time in his stream.

Isaac nodded, ”Maybe I can reach level 30 today… It’s about speed…”
The chat exploded after his Interface became visible.
Most of the stuff was hidden, but not the level, which shocked many.
Only 5% of the billions of Players have reached level 25 or above, which made Isaac’s prestige rise in their eyes.
[Tyrant: You going to Beast Forest? Forest of Unknown is too far]
Isaac smiled, and a pearl-like item appeared on his hand, and he showed it towards the camera, ”Forest of Unknown.”
His body started shining in a greenish glow, and it took only a second for Isaac and the camera to disappear.
[Onder: Wait… Wraith… Are you the one who got the First Clear?!]
Most of the viewers Isaac gets are from other cities. Only a small percentage of the Players got Stronglord as the Starting City.
The First Clear announcement was only seen around Stronglord and villages nearby.
Most of the chat started asking from Onder what he was talking about, and soon they found out that Isaac was the one who got the First Clear!
The ones who have First Clears in Starting City’s are almost always a Pro, with almost no luck involved.
In their eyes, Isaac truly seems like a pro player now.
Soon, Isaac and the camera appeared in the middle of the dark forest, also known as the Forest of Unknown.
He glanced at the Pearl of Teleportation, and there was only one use left. Many would treasure it and use it only when their lives are in danger, but Isaac uses it the way it was meant to.
As a form of transportation.
”Let’s go find a good hunting ground,” Isaac said to his chat and decided to find the best possible hunting ground before drinking the XP Boost Potion.
His chat is very excited to see Isaac fighting. After all, most of the people are watching pro players because their skill is what attracts them.
Most of the chat was still complaining about his class because they had never seen anyone do well with Marksman’s class.
Some streamers use Marksman class, but they are mediocre at best, and watching their streams gives headache to many after they just hide and hope that their shots will hit their target.
Isaac was trying to find another village of some sort in hopes of finding strong enough Monsters to boost his XP.
He is aware that the villages are scarce and was lucky enough to find the Goblin village before anyone else found the Forest of Unknown.
But soon, he reached an area which has mountains on the left and right sides. Isaac frowned after entering a mountainside, which is a strange sight in the forest.
Looking behind him, he saw the dark forest, but in front of him, there is now a mountainside, going who knows where.
There was a proper path going in the middle of large mountains, but looking at the mountains, Isaac saw over hundred hiding spots, which could be used as an ambush; it made him reluctant to go there, but he thought it would be a waste to not check it out.
