Chapter 350 Gang Of Delinquents.
Chapter 350 Gang Of Delinquents.
“Whew.” Isaac crawled out from his hiding spot and stretched his legs as he straightened his back. The darkness of the room enveloped him, making him near-invisible.
The light underneath the door heightened only the front of the door in a warm honey-like color. However, the rest of the office room was dark and ghostly.
Isaac saw his shadow dancing around the flicker of light.
He tip-toed toward the painting, took it off the wall, typed his birth date on the Numpad, and opened the safe.
Then, he opened the wooden box and grabbed the envelope before taking it out. He returned to the desk, turned on the desk light, and opened the envelope.
“Hmm, banknotes?” After opening, Isaac frowned after seeing stacks of banknotes. The room was dark, making the visibility poor, but he remembered the banknotes’ texture and size.
However, after taking one of the banknotes to light, he saw that it didn’t resemble his world’s banknotes. They were rather odd. The edges were light green, and the pictures were about a man and woman holding a snowflake in their palms.
“What are these?” Isaac pondered before putting the banknotes back into the envelope. Then, he took out the metal pipe and examined it thoroughly.
However, when he trailed his finger on the somewhat smooth side, a slight pointy edge popped out from the smooth texture and made a tiny cut on Isaac’s finger.
“Ah!” He yanked his hand back and saw a tiny cut on his finger. The small blood drops managed to land on the metal pipe, and something began happening with it.
Pop!
At first, the metal pipe seemed to open from inside, then it grew longer until it collided with the computer monitor and almost forcing it to fall. However, Isaac managed to catch the computer before it fell down.
The metal pipe’s new length was 150cm. Then, it began thoroughly transforming. The blunt end of the pipe grew thin and dangerous. It resembled a lot of a barrel, and soon, the rest of the pipe resembled a gun!
Isaac’s eyes slowly widened in astonishment as a 150cm long gun with silver color appeared in front of him. He took it into his hands and felt how light it indeed was.
He put his finger on the trigger and felt very tempted to press it; however, it wasn’t the right time for such dangerous things.
Then, Isaac’s eyes widened in amazement. On the side of the gun, the initials I.V.W was carved with some sharp object.
“Wait… Is that my initials?” He massaged his temples and remembered the boulder in the forest. The initials seemed to be identical. There was even a small mistake he made when carving the W. One of the strokes was a little bit too long.
That was exactly identical to the carving on the gun. Isaac began wondering whether they had some kind of connection.
He pulled out his touchscreen phone and snapped several pictures.
Then, Isaac placed it back on the desk and saw how it returned to its previous state of a small pipe. He rubbed his chin, wondering what the hell he had just witnessed. Nothing about it made any sense.
Then, he put it back on the wooden box and placed it back in the safe. He wanted to take it with him, but his father would find out fairly soon who took it. ᴘᴀɴᴅᴀ-ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ
Once the painting covered the safe, he left the office and shortly afterward was back in his spacious room.
He collapsed on his bed and continued thinking about what he witnessed, “Something happened in that forest… What the hell is that gun, and how can it transform?”“Why did it transform because my blood touched it?”
“Why were my initials carved in it?”
“And, why does my father have it?”
“What we’re the banknotes, or are they even banknotes?”
Isaac rolled over and pulled out his phone. Then, he searched for the images he had taken and began looking over them. One of the pictures showed the initials, and it was precisely similar with the boulder’s.
“I wonder what would have happened if I’d pulled the trigger…” For some reason, he felt chills from thinking about it. Isaac wasn’t sure but had a hunch that it would have broken his sense of reality.
He pocketed the phone and rolled around to look at the ceiling.
“Well… My father has some explaining to do.”
…
The following day.
Isaac and Marvin walked in the snow-covered streets, trekking toward the mall where the group of troublemakers was.
After entering the mall through the busy entrance, they saw a sea of people chatting. A flight of stairs led to the second floor, where even more stores and restaurants were located.
Marvin pulled out his phone and asked his friends where they were, and once he received his reply, he pocketed the phone and led the way.
Soon, they reached the second floor and found where the arcade was. In there, four delinquent-looking individuals were smashing the buttons of the gaming machine.
Nearby, teenagers that saw the scene looked frightened. They stepped back, not daring to look them in the eye because many have seen stories about delinquents and how they were bad guys of the world.
Even the arcade owner wanted to make the delinquents leave because they hindered his business but didn’t have the guts to do.
Then, Marvin and Isaac entered the arcade.
“F*ck!” Ins shouted and smashed the button with even greater strength. The screen showed two animated figures fighting each other, and the same screen was seen in Lionel’s one.
He kept grinning as he made fun of Ins and his fighting ability. Then, shortly afterward, the match ended in Lionel’s dominant victory.
“Shit!” Ins pummeled the screen one last time before seeing Marvin standing alongside Isaac, “Oh, you arrived.”
The rest of the gang of troublemakers turned around and saw two somewhat different yet similar people.
Marvin and Isaac greeted them, stepped away from the fighting games, and went to the section with racing games.
