Chapter 399 The Future War - Spark of Hope, lsaac

Chapter 399 – The Future War – Spark of Hope, lsaac.

The single bullet left the planet’s atmosphere and continued flying in the starless space. The bullet kept spinning with no seemingly any way to slow it down.

Soon, the bullet flew past a broken-in-half moon with still frozen corpses floating in the space. All life signals were lost in the Moon City, which sat in ruins and completely frozen.

A short time after passing the moon, the bullet flew toward another planet in the distance. Over the years, the Veil of Illusion had been torn apart, and the World of White was enveloped in thick clouds of darkness.

After breaking through the seemingly endless layers of clouds, the bullet reached the sky above the destroyed God Realm.

The beautiful golden buildings were no more. There’s little left of Eden’s beautiful garden, the patches of grass have been burned to a crisp, and the ground was rough and rock-scarred.

A bullet ripped through the air and landed directly on top of the dark castle in the middle of already destroyed The God City.

There was a figure clad in dark robes and a mask dripping with blood standing in the castle’s throne room.

A pair of razor-sharp horns poked out from under the mask, causing a feeling of terror in anyone who saw them.

The man slowly turned his head around. Seeing an approaching bullet-shaped projectile from his window, he stood ready for action.

“Haahhh… That bastard, again.” This horned figure’s name was Demon King Satan, one of the seven Demon Kings of the Universe.

“Asmodeus, that bastard did it again!”

Bam!

Doors to the throne room opened suddenly, and a man with an inhumanly handsome face stood before them. In addition, he had two short, sharp horns similar to those of Satan.

As his mouth stretched, a hideous grin appeared that completely transformed his handsome face into that of a demonic creature.

“Isaac… MY RIVAL!” A laughing Asmodeus sprang through the window and flew straight at the incoming bullet.

A world-destroying punch that killed dozens of gods was unleashed by his fist.

BOOM!

His fist collided with the bullet, and the result was complete annihilation.

In an instant, half of the God Realm was shrouded in heavy pressure, and the demons near were crushed like insects.

Demon King Satan had used his spell formation to protect the whole castle, leaving only the black castle unaffected.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Asmodeus’ laugh filled the World of White and extended through the space until it landed on Isaac’s ears.

Inside the World of Four Seasons.

“Hahahaha…”

Upon hearing his nemesis’s laughter, Isaac grimaced. Whenever the chance arose to travel to the World of White, he would go there to finish off the bastard forever.

Nevertheless, he lost that power after giving his younger self a mysterious weapon called Silvernium.

Isaac took a simple step forward and appeared hundreds of kilometers away. After he landed again, he was standing outside a cave with the destroyed wilderness around him.

He entered the cave and walked down the stone path. The end of the tunnel brought him to a small cavern-like room.

A wooden bed was found in the room, but there was no mattress or blanket. A wooden desk carved by Isaac himself stood beside a pile of things.

Over a stack of books, there was a Mythical VR Helmet and framed photographs of his family.

Using tuck tape, the strap holding the Mythical VR Helmet in place was taped together due to wear and tear.

Isaac swept one of the pictures into his hand and sat down on the bed. Surprisingly, the smiling figures in the picture had died at his hands a long time ago.

Dark Isaac, the one younger Isaac met during the White Online test, was the Future Isaac’s real identity.

For years, he avoided authorities and cops. Then, it was time for Humanity to be united.

That, however, was a comedy of errors.

Humanity was never going to be united, as Arthur and the Gods realized. They lacked the link that would tie everything together.

Following Isaac’s nomination as a commander for Humanity’s army, everything went into a downward spiral.

Every living creature despised Isaac.

He was hated by the Humans and loathed by the Gods.

Arthur, however, saw something good in him— a glimmer of hope.

Arthur’s authority, however, was revoked. Arthur’s carefully planned plan was useless because of the greedy board of directors.

This was due to his support of Isaac, and no one viewed it in a good light.

Following the Demon attack, Humanity was divided into four camps, and the Gods were at war with each other.

In less than an hour, the entire Human Race was destroyed. One after another, their greatest leaders and players were slain.

The first to die was Lord Kalzer, the Legacy Carrier of Odin. He got killed by Demon Lord Karma, and it could be considered a slaughter, Kalzer never stood a chance.

Humanity has finally realized its mistake. They begged Arthur and the Gods to save them.

It was too late.

Demon Lords were enough to wipe out everyone. The Demon Kings did not even need to show their faces.

Humanity was on the verge of destruction after 99% of its population was wiped out. But an unlikely hero stepped up to save the day.

And that hero was Isaac.

It wasn’t as enjoyable to him as he thought it would be to watch everyone die around him, those who hated him, despised him, and loathed him.

He had something inside of him, a spark of hope, as Arthur said.

The spark ignited, and Dark Isaac vanished.

Isaac fought alone against swarms of Demons. The number of Demons was in the millions.

In the aftermath of the deaths of the Royal Family and citizens, he was the last person to guard the Stronglord.

Although there was nothing left to guard, Isaac fought against waves and waves of Demons.

By the end of the battle, Isaac had killed nearly ten million Demons with his broken body.

When the Demon Lord of Second Heaven, Axcel, heard about it, he came to the first realm to kill that one stubborn human.

He thought it would be as simple as washing his hands. However, it didn’t matter what he did. He couldn’t quench the last flame of Humanity.

Axcel died a bullet-riddled death after months of conflict.

A devastating battle lasted months, and Stronglord was razed to the ground, a blaze raged everywhere, and even the sky was torn apart.

As a result of the Demon Lord’s death, the skies cried out, and all the Demons sensed its loss.

Isaac thought that he would be the next to die. Shortly afterward, he discovered that all humans and gods had already passed away.

All that remained was him.

Despite this, he was not killed by the Demons.

The Demon King, Lucifer, gave him a title.

Demon Lord of Second Heaven, Black Death.

That was the title Isaac loathed. In his attempt to fight the Demons, he did everything he could to avoid becoming a Demon Lord.

No matter what he did, he was never killed.

Eventually, he took an unspeakable action out of despair. It was breaking the barriers between time and space.

He traveled back in the past, so he could do everything right this time.

He felt himself weakening and dying as he remained in the past for several minutes. It was too stressful for his mortal body.

A quick decision had to be made.

He triggered a massive snowstorm in the Snowstar and summoned his younger self to the forest. There, he gave Isaac the Silvernium weapon, and before leaving that timeline, he wrote his initials on a boulder which would serve as his spawn spot should he one day return to this time frame.
