Chapter 476 lsaac Vs.Martial Arts Champion,Kevin Yu
“Fine, it’s your funeral!” Kevin Yu stepped powerfully on the pavement and charged through the alleyway with incredible speed. He appeared behind Isaac, clutching his fist in readiness to strike.
“Oh, quick.” Isaac whipped his head around and saw a large fist heading towards his face. He immediately raised his arms to act as a block.
Smack!
Kevin Yu’s punch struck the block.
“Tch.” He clicked his tongue after he saw that his punch did nothing.
“Heh.” Isaac held his arms up in his blocking stance. His HP bar didn’t fluctuate, meaning he barely felt the attack.
“You are tough, I give you that, but let’s see how much you can last!” Kevin Yu suddenly swung a right cross that went right past Isaac’s block!
“Oh!” Isaac smiled at the incredible attack. His opponent’s attack went past his block perfectly and was heading straight toward his left cheek.
‘It will hit!’ Kevin Yu smirked internally as his punch neared his opponent’s cheek.
But then, Isaac sent a left uppercut towards Kevin Yu’s fist!
Bam!
“Eh?!” Kevin Yu’s eyes shook as he watched his fist getting thrown backward, ‘Instead of blocking, he counter-attacked and sent an uppercut straight towards my own attack?!’
Then, the pain registered, and he felt a sharp pain around his wrist, which had a red mark and a tiny bruise.
Following up with his next attack, Isaac hit Kevin Yu on the right thigh with a low kick!
Smack!
“ARGH!” Kevin Yu screamed loudly, ‘He did a calf kick?!’
“Is that how you do it?” Isaac grinned and struck Kevin Yu in the jaw with a right straight.
Thwack!
“Ugh!” The punch pushed Kevin Yu’s head backward. Several teeth were at breaking point, and blood flowed down from the corner of his mouth.
‘Who is he… He isn’t amateur!’ He pushed his head forth and saw the white-haired man sending another calf kick, but this time towards his left thigh!
“Not happening!” Kevin Yu raised his left leg and blocked the kick, “I have learned how to block every attack of mine. Meaning, I know how to block every strike you make!”
“Oh, what if I use an attack you don’t know of?” Isaac asked with a tiny grin.
“Hah, as if!” Kevin Yu shook his head and was confident that he was more experienced. He didn’t expect the white-haired man to know anything about other styles.
Whoosh!
“Eh?” Kevin Yu blinked, and suddenly Isaac disappeared!
“I am here…” Isaac said while bending down. He reached for Kevin Yu’s legs with his hands. He was going for a tackle!
“Tackle?! Not happening!” Kevin Yu immediately slammed his palms into Isaac’s shoulders and stopped the tackle, “I know all about tackles too!”
“Well, I didn’t go for the tackle.” Isaac hammered his fist into the bridge of Kevin Yu’s foot!
“ARGHHH!” Kevin Yu screamed in agony and staggered backward with a bruised foot, “Y-Y-You shameless!”
“Sorry, but we aren’t fighting with rules. This is a street fight, don’t you know what that is?” Isaac said while running after Kevin Yu. He didn’t plan to give him any rest!
“S-Street fight?!” Kevin Yu gulped and didn’t really know the meaning of that word.
In the City of Fall, the Martial Arts were holy, and things like street fights were unknown terms to them. They would only fight in the arenas and with referees.
This was Kevin Yu’s first time fighting without any supervision.
“Yes, no rules!” Isaac shouted as he did an overhead hook!
Thwack!
“Ugh!” Another punch painfully landed on Kevin Yu’s nose. The punch broke it, with drops of blood dripping down.
Then, Isaac followed up with a calf kick, and another painful sound reverberated in the alleyway.
Thwack!
“Argh, damn it!” Kevin Yu screamed as his right thigh went numb. He could barely feel his right leg and understood immediately the dire situation he was in.
Suddenly, two shadowy arms wrapped around his head, and Kevin Yu noticed a knee approaching his face.
“Oh no!”
SMACK!
Isaac held Kevin Yu’s head from his nape and sent several knee kicks straight towards his face. Each knee strike sent a shower of blood towards the dry walls.
After several blows, he let go of the nape and watched as Kevin Yu fell to the ground with white pupils. He passed out!
“Whew…” Isaac patted the dust off his shoulders and checked his percentage.
[UP: 30%]
“3% rise… Well, better than nothing.” Isaac then turned towards the bloodied man and knelt next to him. He pulled out a healing potion from his inventory and poured it inside Kevin Yu’s mouth.
As the healing liquid traveled through Kevin’s throat, all injuries started healing.
Isaac stood up and watched as the healing potion cracked and disappeared.
“Kevin Yu… That was your name, right?” He asked as he saw the man slowly waking up.
“U-Ugh… w-why did you heal me?” He asked while holding his mouth. All the injuries were slowly disappearing, but he could still feel the taste of blood in his mouth.
“Because fighting you was quite selfish.” Isaac scratched his head, “I need to increase my percentage, and you seemed to be a person who could increase it.”
“Cough!” Kevin Yu started having a coughing fit, and once it stopped, he asked, “Percentage… I have heard my master talking about it… Does that mean you have reached that realm?”
“Realm? I am not sure what you mean.” Isaac was about to leave the alleyway but stopped after hearing his question.
“Realm… where you go beyond human limitations… if I remember correctly… 400 level was the start of that realm…”
“Right, I have reached that realm. What about it?”
“Hah…” Kevin Yu held his face with a defeated look, “You could have defeated me so easily… I am only level 350. Why did you use Martial Arts when it’s obviously not your class?”
“I need to increase my percentage, simple as that. Increasing the percentage is quite tricky. Sometimes I have to put handicap for myself,” Isaac said while looking at the New-Gen Human in front of him.
New-Gen Humans become “Superhumans” after reaching level 400, which was an incredible achievement for them.
Kevin Yu, who hadn’t seen any other player yet, considered it an incredible achievement. He’d only seen a few others above level 400, and one of them was his master.
