Chapter 512 Caveman Legacy
Chapter 512 Caveman Legacy
The horse-faced man watched as the man with white hair evaded all of the bullets. A feeling of dread began to spread throughout his entire existence as it began to emerge from the recesses of his thoughts.
“Those moves are exactly like his…,” said the man. He took a few dry swallows before he grasped the threat posed by the man with white hair and then shouted, “He is Chain Breaker! Call the others!”
One of his soldiers started sprinting in the direction of the door. However, the horse-faced man quickly realized that he had made a mistake.
The man with white hair spun around and shot a bullet upwards toward the ceiling. Instantly, the ceiling, which got damaged some time ago, fell away, which completely blocked the exit.
‘No!’ The man with the horse face screamed to himself in his head, I should have left by myself silently and gotten reinforcements. Why did I yell?! Did I lose my cool?!’
When he turned around and saw a pair of silver eyes staring at him, he immediately felt a chill that raced all the way down his back.
“Bang…” After making his statement, the white-haired man pressed the trigger on the gun.
Bang!
The bullet traveled through the air, leaving a cloud of smoke in its wake. In a matter of seconds, it arrived in front of the man with the horse’s face.
‘I am dead…’ As the man with the horse face closed his eyes, he likely entered his last state of consciousness, during which he gave one final thought to the choices he had made throughout his life.
Whoosh!
Out of nowhere, a person dressed in white materialized out of thin air as if he got expelled from a hidden dimension. This event occurred seemingly out of the blue. His transparent eyes spotted the approaching bullet, and he shifted his weight to the right side of his body to stop it.
Bam!
The person dressed in white kicked the bullet away and then gently fell to the ground below him. His long, banging black hair moved slowly in the breeze, and so did the hem of his clothing trailing behind him.
“Kiryu!” The man with the horse’s face’s eyes bulged wide open as he let out a shrill cry of excitement.
Kiryu shifted his sleeves with a flick of his wrist and strode across the room with swift, rapid steps. After coming to a stop when he was barely one meter away from Isaac, he delivered a tremendous front kick to Isaac.
Thwack!
Isaac used his elbow to deflect the strike and then immediately twisted Silvercloud around and squeezed the trigger!
Bang!
The bullet exited the barrel and flew through the air with a whooshing sound.
Kiryu tilted his head to the side, which caused the rough shell of the barrel to brush across his nose as it traveled over his face.
Isaac drew back his hand, clenched it, and punched!
Kiryu seized the opportunity and grabbed the fist, rapidly turning it so that Isaac was facing him sideways. After that, he delivered a blow to Isaac’s neck with his elbow, which was a successful blow.
“Gh…” Isaac made a muffled grunting sound, and at the same time, a glimmer of crimson light flashed across his silvery eyes.
“Hah!” Isaac was thrown across the room as Kiryu grabbed him by the collar and flung him.
Before touching the ground, Isaac did many rotations in the air while in mid-flight. Almost instantaneously, he whirled around and began blasting Silvercloud without pausing for a moment.
Bang, bang, bang, bang!
“Hollow Point!” Kiryu defended himself by slamming his palms against the oncoming bullets and deflecting them away from him.
As soon as the bullets made contact with his palms, their courses miraculously altered, and they went on to entirely miss his body.
‘What the hell?’ Isaac put his gun down and looked disgruntled.
‘He warped space…’ Silvernium said inside Isaac’s head.
‘How?’ Isaac poked around inside his own head despite the fact that he had a sneaking suspicion.
It was evident that Kiryu was the Chain Breaker, and he was also a powerful one. His Legacy was a Special Legacy, despite the fact that it was not very well recognized. His Legacy Holder was a person who lived in ancient periods, during which he occasionally interacted with cavemen and did not have access to the fire.
That individual was victorious in his battle against Sabertooth tigers. He engaged in combat with other cavemen thousands of times and was always victorious. At about this time, the cavemen started looking up to him as a more important existence.
It’s possible that the things he did were supernatural in nature. Since he had no access to any future technology, if he had lived during this era, he would be regarded as the most talented practitioner of martial arts in the history of the world.
When he was at his physical limit, his kicks had the ability to warp space, but only just barely.
Isaac positioned himself and pulled the trigger after aiming.
Bang!
Kiryu made a cross with his arms and then used his arms as swords as he slashed down.
Whoosh!
His arms generated a powerful wind breeze, which resulted in a reduction in the bullet’s rate of travel. Its accuracy plummeted to an all-time low, and it failed to hit the target once more.
Bam!
It looked like a bullet had hit the wall behind him.
Kiryu repositioned his right arm so that his fist was pointing at the ceiling’s cracks. After then, he moved his left arm so that it came into contact with the forearm of his right arm. It looked like he was making a cross with his arms.
“Caveman’s Faith.” Kiryu gripped both of his fists tightly, and as he did so, his muscles puffed out. The cross appeared to have abruptly grown in size.
Isaac lifted his right arm, which was holding Silvercloud in his hand. After that, he turned around and saw that all of the men in hazard suits were standing in silence and observing, but they had no intention of stopping him.
“The Purity of the Caveman!” Kiryu slammed his foot down hard on the ground and surged forward after making the sound. As his muscles got even larger, his figure began to soar through the air. After he had appeared above Isaac, he reached down and grabbed both of his fists before delivering a hammer blow.
”HAAAAAAAA!”
Isaac brought his right arm up, and Kiryu, who was above him and about to launch his next assault, was visible in the sky.
There was no sign of fear on Kiryu’s face as he stared dead ahead at the barrel of the silver pistol.
Bang!
Isaac pressed the trigger on the gun.
The bullet exited the barrel and flew in the direction of Kiryu’s hands as it continued its journey.
The tightly clasped hands of Kiryu struck the bullet, and the spacetime continuum bent once more. The bullet gradually veered off of its intended path and went on to miss his body entirely.
“Hahaha!” When Kiryu saw that there was no longer any way for Isaac to avoid getting hit, he let out a hearty laugh. He slammed his hands together, getting ready to beat Isaac until he was unconscious.
Isaac’s right arm, which had been holding Silvercloud, was suddenly lowered. To spectators, it appeared like he’d given up.
However, at that moment, his eyes flashed a brilliant scarlet light, and a dangerously hot beam shot out of the corners of his eyes!
“Eh?!” Kiryu ceased his strikes, and with wide-open eyes and an audible “AHHH!” he expressed his shock.
He took a direct hit to the chest from the red beam.
In his haste, Kiryu crushed his palms against the red beam and attempted to slightly distort the gap between them. Luckily, he could steer the red beam away from its intended path.
The red beam altered its course, collided with the ceiling, and continued on its original path through the room.
“Ugh…” After crashing to the ground, Kiryu lay down on the ground with a burned chest. The pain had a distorting effect on his pale face.
“Kiryu!” The man with the horse’s face screamed out in terror, and his face turned white.
Isaac took a careful aim at the man with the horse face, and the tension in the room increased almost instantly. As he was going through the motions of firing the trigger, there was a huge boom that came from the entrance.
BOOM!
The rubble covering the entrance suddenly exploded!
