Chapter 666 Satan.
666 Satan.
”All of you, return.” Lucifer said towards empty space. But, all the demons in Four Seasons heard him.
The demons were annoyed that they were ordered to return. They were having fun for the first time in a long time. But, they didn’t dare go against the Demon Kings, and so they started their return to spaceships.
Lucifer’s plan wasn’t to fight till only one man was standing. He planned to cause damage to the world so that the citizens would feel fear and the soldiers would feel less motivated to fight against them. It seemed to work since everyone was trembling in fear.
He knew if he waited for an hour or two, they would lose a lot of their demons.
However, one thing made him frown, which wasn’t part of his calculations. All the demons he sent to the depths of Winterland mysteriously died. He sent them mostly to Starshow, Laughshow, and Trickshow. But, all the demons there died. It was a big loss that even took Lucifer off-guard.
There wasn’t supposed to be anyone strong. He’d been keeping a close eye on the Gods and Primordial Gods. Even some of the Gods wouldn’t be able to kill all the demons like that, and none of the Primordial Gods who had the capability went there.
So, what the hell happened?
Lucifer didn’t like things like this. He had to know the reason for this strange phenomenon. Curiosity was eating him alive, which could be called his only weakness. He didn’t like it when things weren’t under his control.
”Satan!” Lucifer turned around and spoke to the blood-masked man.
Satan’s eyebrow jumped underneath the mask. He was surprised. ”Yes?”
”Go find out why the demons died in these three countries.” Lucifer told the coordinates inside Satan’s mind, then continued. ”Don’t alert the Primordial Gods.”
”Oh, okay.” Satan was honestly surprised. He rarely saw Lucifer act like this. It was like… everything wasn’t under his control, which was a rare thing to witness. Other Demon Kings felt the same.
Satan took a spaceship, then masked his aura till it resembled a very weak demon, and flew with it straight to Four Seasons. The spaceship was quite small, so it flew under the radar of the Gods.
While driving the spaceship, Satan tapped the armrest with a frown. He was wondering what made Lucifer lose his composure for a moment. It couldn’t be a small thing, because Lucifer had eight senses. The extra three senses allowed him to predict things with incredible accuracy.
It wasn’t something he could control. But, he always had a ”feeling” when something wasn’t right and became almost obsessed with finding out the reason for that feeling.
‘He again had that feeling…’ Satan was sure of it. ‘I wonder what I will find there…’
After the spaceship arrived at the Starshow, Satan started slowly looking around out of the window. He could immediately tell if there was something odd.
Boom!
Out of nowhere the spaceship exploded!
Satan lost the control of the spaceship and started flying down in a downward spiral. Before the spaceship crashed to the snowy ground, he flew out of the window, shattering it apart and then hovered in the air while the spaceship exploded beneath him.
Satan frowned and looked around the desolate snow valley. He looked like he was alone there, but he had a sinking feeling.
Swoosh!
Then, a spine-chilling sound entered his ears. Satan looked up at the sky and was fascinated.
A flaming meteor with a radius of several hundred kilometers descended on him. It had enough width to destroy all living beings in the Four Seasons, but Satan realized that the attack was perfectly controlled and only the snow valley would be wiped out of the face of the earth!
”Hellfire!” Satan cried out, and his left arm was suddenly lit in a brilliant blaze. The fire immediately melted all the snow in the snow valley. Then, the fire shot out towards the flaming meteors.
Once the two powers clashed, an explosion echoed and caused the snow valley to be bathed in a sea of flame!
The meteor crashed to the ground while the hellfire vanished. The meteor broke the ground, shattering the earth and causing an enormous shockwave that even swept Satan’s legs from underneath him.
Satan fell on his back, but he quickly flipped back to his feet. His frown grew as the massive meteor didn’t explode or vanish. It was simply standing there in the middle of the snow valley, and it was utterly massive!
It was bigger than any mountain.
Even Satan looked like an ant in front of the meteor.
”I see, humanity has a monster in their ranks.” Satan murmured. ”They were hiding it? How sneaky… I need to tell Lucifer, as soon as possible!”
As he was about to start flying, a bullet suddenly appeared right in front of his eyes. It moved at a speed that made it almost impossible to notice it!
”?!” Satan hurriedly moved out of the way. The bullet grazed past his cheek and flew into the distance.
A small drop of blood ran down his cheek.
With a widened expression, Satan glanced at the wound. How long had it been since he was last injured? It must have been thousands of years.
”This is…” Satan wiped the blood away and coldly looked into the distance–towards the faraway mountains. ”Dangerous.”
In the mountains, hiding behind a small snowbank, Isaac spat out the snow he kept in his mouth. He then took another mouthful of snow from the snowbank and softly munched on it before making sure that no frozen breath would be noticeable.
He then again aimed at faraway Satan, smiled slightly, and fired.
Bang!
The bullet tore through the air and appeared in front of Satan within the blink of an eye.
Satan backhanded the bullet away with a cold expression. He frowned since he couldn’t tell where the bullet came from. He knew immediately that the person was an expert sniper and that finding such a person was nigh-impossible.
”Come out!” he shouted. ”Or I will destroy the entire mountain!”
Isaac didn’t react to the provocation. He calmly whistled and again aimed. ‘You can’t keep dodging forever…’
Bang!
