Chu Li smirked and acted as if he was not aware of the fact that he had just killed everyone from the Raging Tiger Troupe. Even those who had hidden from him were caught and killed without mercy, not a single soul was spared or left behind.

Inside the ravine, there were a series of houses with courtyards that were connected to each other, and in the center of it all was a big hall that was covered with a thick carpet. Moreover, the smell of luxurious food and alcohol emanated throughout the hall and its corridors.

Inside the hall, fifty naked women were laying naked on the floor like white sheep that were waiting for the men to come over to play with them.

However, they trembled in fear as they heard the screams and the cry for help, but they did not dare go out to find out what had happened.

As Chu Li floated towards them with his Light-body technique, all of them stared at him with wide eyes that were filled with fear and curiosity.

Despite being the only man in a room full of women, Chu Li took a look at all of them without a change of expression. Instead, Zhao Ying was the one who blushed.

Chu Li said in a low voice, “Sister, please do help them to settle down.”

“Do we send them home?”

“Why not let them stay here for a while?”

“Alright.” Zhao Ying gave it a thought as she nodded helplessly. These women would not have a good life if they went back now; it was better if they stayed here.

Chu Li replied, “Have them pick a leader and seal the place up so no outsider will be allowed to enter. In here, they’ll be completely self-sufficient and there won’t be any danger. If you’re worried, you can always come over to check on them in the future.”

“Mm.” Zhao Ying lightly nodded.

Then, Chu Li left her there and made his way out of the cave with his Light-body technique, where he caught up with the escaping ring-scarred man who was about ten miles away.

The ring-scarred man’s face was pale and he was panting like a cow. His movements were so slow, it was as if he was seriously injured.

In the end, he had made it to the bank of a huge river that flowed towards the east. Though right as he was about to jump into the river and disappear into its rapid waves, Chu Li appeared and blocked his path with a sword that was pointed directly at him. “Young brother, everyone makes mistakes but sometimes it’s better to forgive them than persist onwards!” the ring-scarred man muttered.

Chu Li shook his head. “Your sins are way too deep to be forgiven. You cannot stay in this world!”

As he said those words, Chu Li raised his hand.

A light ‘tsk’ sound rang out and a white flash shot down onto the ring-scarred man’s throat.

The man fell backward into the air before Chu Li leaped out and caught his limp body. If the ring-scarred man had fallen into the river and Chu Li failed to find the body afterward — unsure if he was dead or alive — then he would be really restless.

The ring-scarred man held onto his throat and widened his eyes.

“Where is the secret scroll?” Chu Li asked.

The man suddenly revealed a smirk and looked at him condescendingly. His smile got bigger and bigger before his body started to tremble until it was limp — he had taken his last breath.

Chu Li slowly put him down and let out two impure breaths. The last strike he had just used was of the Eternity Blade where it required all of his strength; it was a strike far stronger than his normal ones.

Although Chu Li knew that the ring-scarred man definitely had a hidden killer weapon, it would be unwise to look down on the followers of the Tempest Temple. Had he not kill the man in a single strike, the man would have activated some secret skill and sacrificed himself just to kill Chu Li!

As the spiritual forces from his surrounding rushed into his body to nourish his meridians, he healed incredibly quickly.

After he grabbed onto the corpse and flew to the top of the mountain, he arrived in front of a pine tree.

The pine tree looked as if it was going to wilt, but its vitality was still strong with its branch stretched off the side of the cliff. As the wind blew, it swayed lightly while it stood there looking proud and elegant.

Chu Li dug a hole a meter away from the roots. Although the soil was hard, it did not stop Chu Li’s sword from digging through. In a split second, a ‘ding’ sound was heard — he had hit a slab. Chu Li quickly backed away before he could pick away the slab with the sword.

“Swush…”

A huge ray of blue light that was as fine as raindrops shot out. If he had not known about this trap a little earlier on, it would have been almost impossible for him to avoid it; it was incredibly poisonous.

After the blue ray ended, Chu Li used a stone to smash the slab violently. As a deep ‘bam’ rang out which was followed by ‘swush’, another ray of blue light shot out.

Only when the blue ray of light ended did Chu Li move closer and picked out a stone box with the sword. When he opened it, he found a yellowish book inside that was titled “The Sentient Menace”, handily written with a silver hook on the front.

Chu Li picked it up and flipped through the book. There were a total of thirty-six pages in which each page contained a posture, and all the positions were drawn incredibly lifelike. Although the face of the monk who did the poses was indistinguishable, Chu Li could see all the changes in the muscles as the inner energy channels were clearly labeled in red and blue.

All Chu Li had to do was flip through the book once and he had already remembered everything. Then, he flipped through it again to make sure that he did not miss anything. He spat out some inner energy that pressed lightly onto the book before he carefully placed the book back into the stone box, and buried it back as to how he had first seen it.

That way, the next person who found the stone box would surely find the book. However, they would immediately turn into ashes and get blown away, along with the wind the moment they laid their hands on the book; whoever found this next was in for a bad day. As Chu Li thought about it, he revealed a smile and instantly felt amazing.

After he buried the man next to the stone box, he flew back into the cave and went into the Raging Tiger Encampment. By that time, Zhao Ying had already gathered all the women. There were a total of a hundred and sixty of them, and the all of their features looked good.

Needless to say, those who were ugly would have already been killed by the troupe, only leaving the ones who were worth fooling around with.

However, Chu Li did not interrupt Zhao Ying as he had found the room of the ring-scarred man and took a look around. In the process of that, he had found three hundred thousand silvers worth of banknotes and kept it with him. He then flew into the hall and landed beside Zhao Ying. “Zhao Ying, let’s go!”

Zhao Ying reluctantly looked at all the women and gave them a few reminders. She told them that she was going to seal the cave so that they could relax, as no one would be able to enter this place; they just had to live their lives peacefully and she will visit them whenever she can.

Chu Li and Zhao Ying sealed the cave and covered it with green ivy so that no one would notice a thing.

To guard them against the unexpected, Chu Li carried a huge rock and placed it in front of the cave. So, even if an Innate Master showed up, they would still have to put in some form of effort in order to get in. Besides, those who were below Innate Mastery would not be able to even move the rock, much less get in.

Zhao Ying felt a sense of relief after seeing all the measures that were taken.

“Brother, I pity them a lot.” Both of them conversed while they made their way back using the Light-body technique.

Chu Li smiled. “It is indeed very sad, but we will find the chance for them to be in a better place in the future.”

“How can we do that?” Zhao Ying shook her head and sighed, feeling helpless. “What if we report this back to the Public House? They must have an idea.”

Chu Li shook his head.

“Why not?”

“We can start a restaurant. Two of those would be enough to settle all of them down.”

“Ah?”

“I found some silver.” Chu Li took out the bank notes and handed it to Zhao Ying.

Zhao Ying was startled. As she received the bank notes and took a closer look, her expression changed immediately. She looked at Chu Li, surprised. “Three hundred thousand taels?”

Chu Li nodded. “It’s enough to start two restaurants.”

“But…” Zhao Ying hesitated.

Chu Li giggled. “We have the Public House as a backup, but it’s not difficult to start a restaurant. There must be a few capable ones among them, aren’t there?”
