Chapter 224 - Gu Mohan, It Hurts
Chapter 224: Gu Mohan, It Hurts
Tang Mo’er opened her watery eyes as she grimaced in pain. Taking a clear look at the man above her, she saw him kneeling beside her with his fringe covering his bloodshot eyes. Though he looked tired, he was still extremely handsome.
She was just like an Enhydris sliding around the bed, twisting and squirming as she tried to relieve the pain inside her. It was like a million rabid insects chewing into her skin and she whimpered, “Gu Mohan, it hurts. It hurts so much.”
Her distressed voice was sending calls for help, and seeing her in such a state, Gu Mohan felt as though he was stabbed in the heart by a knife and it was wrenching and twisting, tormenting him immensely.
This little fool, who asked her to take the shot for him?
During dangerous situations, women were to hide behind men and seek for their protection. However, she was different, she had protected him instead.
“Mo’er, try and hold it in. I’ll ease your pain in a little while.”
Tang Mo’er couldn’t hear him clearly, she felt her blood pumping quickly and her energy depleting. Her entire body felt weak and she wanted to scratch herself, but her hands were held down by him. She started to struggle even more and kicked him in her desperation. “Get lost! Don’t hold me down, let go of me…”
Gu Mohan stood up straight and single-handedly pressed her wrists down. He used one hand to rip off his tie and used it to tie her hands against the bed frame.
Tang Mo’er’s body had curled up after suffering all that pain and her pupils were becoming unfocused. It was hard to even see the chandelier above her, all she could see was a blurry haze.
The pain was becoming unbearable and the buildup of toxins were wrecking havoc on her nerves. She was helpless as she didn’t know how to lessen the pain.
“Baby, be good. Let me help you. Don’t think about anything, just follow my lead!” She heard his husky murmur against her ear.
It was like a coaxing lullaby that distracted her from the pain.
*What does he want? *
“It hurts, it really hurts, Mr Gu… it really hurts…”
“I know, baby. Seeing you suffering like this makes me hurt so much. Mo’er, everything will be fine. Count on me, everything will be fine. I won’t let anything happen to you.” Gu Mohan couldn’t take his bloodshot eyes off her, he bent down and kissed her red lips with an intensity that took her breath away. There was a bloody taste from their breaths but it wasn’t clear where it came from.
Tang Mo’er sucked in a deep breath and her body was as hot as burning lava, everything was breaking down inside.
She was lost in his passionate kiss, she felt the pain from the toxins and yet she could only follow him. Like this, she would follow him to the end.
It wouldn’t hurt as much if she let go and followed his lead.
…
Two hours later.
An intense session of intimacy in the room ended. Their clothes were strewn all over the carpet and the thick scent of sex following their heated, twisted bodies permeated the room. Gu Mohan leaned against the bed, dispirited. His upper body was bare, revealing a tanned back full of bloody wounds that resulted from the scratches of her anguished fingertips. He covered his lower body with a blanket and took a cigarette from the bedside table before lighting it, taking a puff of smoke and spitting it out again.
Men liked to have a cigarette after having sex. It seemed Gu Mohan was no exception.
As he looked down at the woman beside him, his gaze flickered. She lay beside his legs curled up like a little kitten, her exposed skin filled with bruises. He had been heavy-handed, ravaging her delicate body like a savage.
He laughed. “Tang Mo’er, I’m going to die at the hands of you one day.”
Tang Mo’er blinked, they were both too lazy to even walk the few steps to take a shower. Honestly, she was exhausted. Somehow, the burning pain in her blood was gone. Around the two hour mark, he had brought her out of the pain and removed the brutality of the poison.
Tang Mo’er’s tiny face was flushed a deep pink and she slowly opened her clear eyes to look him in the eyes. “Gu Mohan, when you spoke outside the room earlier, I heard something. Lu Yan said that I’ve been poisoned.”
