Chapter 2602 - Twin Divine Wonders
Chapter 2602 – Twin Divine Wonders
“Sixth must… be taught… a lesson! That bastard… makes me… really mad,” Yin Chen said.
It wasn’t easy to run into Sixth, not to mention, there was also news about Lingfeng and Qingyu. Tianming wanted to directly confront it. He’d been rather taken aback before, but had snapped out of it and was thinking of how to go about it. Since Sixth was still controlling Fu Xun, that meant it hadn’t dissipated yet.
“Little Li, I think they’re going in the direction of the Skyhold Bridge,” Xian Xian said.
“It looks like he convinced the other three. Does that mean Sixth wants to keep fighting at Skyhold Bridge?” Ji Ji said.
“Ji Ji, it’s Sixth to us, but big brother to you,” Xian Xian said.
“Nope. It left and returned late, so it has to get in line behind me,” Ji Ji said with dissatisfaction.
Just like that, the argument started again.
Tianming felt a headache welling up and pushed apart the two spiritforms while he followed the group ahead to Skyhold Bridge. “Ling’er, get Xiaoxiao to come in. Do hurry.”
“They also have a six-win streak, right? Are you trying to see if you can run into them there like what Fengqing Yin did to us?” Feiling asked.
“That’s right. Skyhold Bridge is a closed space. That should give me a chance to talk to it a little and try to understand it.” Even if his sixth Primordial Chaos Beast was some kind of dream fiend, it was still his responsibility and something he had to face, communicate with, and understand. Lingfeng and Qingyu’s situation was also incredibly precarious. He had to try everything to get more information about them. Feiling immediately left to go get Xiaoxiao.
That little one is really troublesome. To think that it would call me a Primordial Chaos Beastmaster in a public place like this where there’s viewports…. I wonder how many people in the Skydome Mundus heard it…. Skyhold Bridge wasn’t a place where they could have a simple conversation. Most of the time, Tianming talked to his beasts through their telepathic links. He could only pray that nobody in the Skydome Mundus knew about Primordial Chaos Beasts. At the very least, nobody Tianming knew had any idea as far as he was aware.
After following them for some distance, he was certain they were going toward Skyhold Bridge for the seventh challenge. Tianming hadn’t been planning on doing so, as the risk would be really high. It would cost him a year of cultivation time and they would have to start the streak again from scratch. But for Sixth, he was willing to risk it. He turned his attention to the opponents.
“Fu Xun’s a really talented sacred shaman. He’s Fu Yan’s main rival and is around four hundred years old. At the eleventh astral phase, he’s one of the few people that stand a chance to become a cosmic cartographer before five hundred.” Those were considered peak talent in the Skydome Mundus. Ninety-nine percent of infinitum-class geniuses weren’t capable of becoming cosmic cartographers at that age. Despite that, Fu Xun was the weakest in the group.
“Those two girls are special divine wonderians. A girl-girl pair is something so rare that they only show up once every ten million years!” They were even closer than identical twins. Like other divine wonderians, the two of them could also fuse to become one person kind of like Moran. If those two were rare mutations, Moran would be even rarer.
“Perhaps that mutation caused them to be just as talented as Fengqing Yin despite their lower social status. They’re also eleventh-astral orderans at around four hundred years old and stand a chance to become cosmic cartographers before five hundred….” Their future was vast and bright. The only catch was that they were unable to reproduce with each other to pass their talent on, putting them in a rather awkward spot among divine wonderians. Some approved of their talent, but there were also those that mocked them for its alternative manifestation. Either way, they were still among the ranks of the mundus’ supremely talented.
Finally, there was Lu Xuan, the phytospecter. He was twice as old as Fu Xun and was a cosmic cartographer, though he was only three levels above Fu Xun. “That phytospecter doesn’t seem native to the Skydome Mundus. He’s probably from an elite clan from another mundus!”
Tianming had heard musings in Starting City that the phytospecters were quite a powerful faction in some other mundus. In fact, that group as a whole was one that many thought had a good chance of making it to Voidback City early. They stood a better chance than Fengqing Yin’s team, as they were close to five hundred years old. They enjoyed quite a lot of popularity.
Tianming followed them to Skyhold Bridge and saw them step onto it and float away. He didn’t have to wait long before Feiling arrived with Xiaoxiao. “Let’s go!”
They stepped onto the bridge as well and entered the Dreamriver Ocean. Their part of the bridge began cruising along the river. Spectators could be certain that he was going after one group in particular. His rapid rise in strength had absolutely stunned many people in the Skydome Mundus, with him defeating Fengqing Yin and moving toward Weisheng Piaopiao’s group in a few short years, a feat which would have taken others two hundred years. That was the pace of an absolute monster. They all waited to see the grand fight play out. But no matter how much the audience wanted to see those two groups clash, Tianming had to pray that he would run into Fu Xun.
“This is the seventh battle. There’s very few groups that can make it to this point, so it should be quite likely for me to run into them, at least more so than the time Fengqing Yin matched with me.”
The bridge they were standing on was the size of a giant island. Around an hour later, they finally heard a loud rumble. The bridges had connected and fused, and only the winners would be able to leave on theirs. The losers could only return after a year and had to start anew.
Tianming had taken many Yin Chens back after clearing out the Star Hunters on the Sun. He sent quite a few of them along the bridge to scout out enemies. His lifebound beasts that were forbidden from showing up in Starting City were free to roam the battlefield. Ying Huo and the rest came out the instant they were allowed to. They were quite concerned about their little sibling; no matter how harsh they talked about it, they only treated Sixth as a rebellious child that ran away from home.
