Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 2603 - Mystique Mirror Wonder

Chapter 2603 – Mystique Mirror Wonder

Tianming’s lifebound beasts had never held any negative feelings for Sixth. They were waiting for it to reunite with them as family.

“It is… them alright!” Yin Chen said.

“Did you see it yet?”

“Not yet… still far… I can… feel its… annoying aura!” That wasn’t surprising; Sixth and Yin Chen were fighting even in their dreamscape visions.

“Come to think of it, Primordial Chaos Beasts look unbelievably large in dreamscapes. They’re comparable to the size of astral giants or divine astralships… no, maybe even larger than nova source worlds! Surely, one had to reach that level to be able to travel the astralscape with their body alone.” Perhaps in the eye of those beasts, divine astralships were nothing but tiny pieces of candy. Even astralguard formations were nothing but fine sugar coatings.

Tianming recalled the fight he had seen in the dreamscape as he headed toward his destination. With the bridge being so large, it took quite a bit of time to run across the battlefield.

“I spotted… it it!” Yin Chen said, much to Tianming’s relief.

“Let’s hope Sixth will give me a chance to talk to it.” Back then, it had been the one that’d rambled on.

“The problem is that this is Skyhold Bridge. How are you going to hold a conversation like this?” Ying Huo said.

Tianming also felt quite troubled. Quite a lot of people from the Skydome Mundus were watching them. Not to mention, this was a place to fight without wasting words. Both sides were basically destined to clash the moment they encountered each other.

“Phew!” Tianming took a deep breath, feeling the presence of his opponents ahead. Amidst the fog ahead, four figures appeared, namely Weisheng Miaomiao, Weisheng Piaopiao, Lu Xuan, and Fu Xun.

All seven of their gazes clashed. They all spotted Tianming, while Tianming, Feiling, and Xiaoxiao’s gazes wandered to the nondescript Fu Xun.

Fu Xun seemed rather taken aback and widened his mouth, but quickly shut it. His expression shifted to one of sly calm as he muttered, “Interesting…. You really are trying to stop me. Is this destiny?” As Fu Xun wasn’t the star of the show, he backed off to a corner.

“Li Tianming?” Weisheng Piaopiao, standing in front of Fu Xun, inspected her opponents. She was facing the most famous person in Starting City and knew to be cautious. Both sides stopped and watched the other.

“What a coincidence. Even though I’m impressed that you guys were able to make your way to this point despite your youth, let’s see what you’re really made of,” Weisheng Piaopiao said.

“They might not be that young. Doesn’t everyone say they’re actually around five hundred years old?” Weisheng Miaomiao said. The two of them knew what each other were thinking and exchanged glances.

“Go!” Without hesitation, they struck.

With them and Lu Xuan around, Tianming wouldn’t have a chance to talk to Fu Xun, so he decided he would wipe out these three eleventh-level bystanders first! “Careful. Their methods are rather devious.”

“Got it.” Feiling and Xiaoxiao nodded as they flanked him.

The two divine wonderians ahead of them made their move. Tianming recalled reading about them. Both of them were cultivating ether-class divine wonders, the same kind at that: mystique mirror wonders. The two were a hundred years older than Fengqing Yin and far more adept at controlling their divine wonders. That gap was clearly felt the moment their divine wonders manifested. They looked like identical mirrors without frames. Shaped quite oddly, the mirrors were so large that they covered the entire battlefield. They were comprised of fragments with differing polygonal shapes, such as rectangles, squares, rhombuses, hexagons, and so on. It looked like they were fragmenting and reforming over and over. The edges of the fragments seemed razor sharp, making them extra threatening as they flew all over the place like blades in a storm.

Tianming and the others were reflected inside the mirrors. What was odd was that, despite their serious expressions, the expressions reflected in the mirrors were different and ranged from joy to sorrow and anger. The two ether-class divine wonders possessed even more growth potential than Moran’s. The Weisheng sisters seemed to blend in with the countless mirror fragments in the air. It appeared so impressive that many spectators across the Skydome Mundus cheered.

“Amazing.” Tianming did respect the divine wonderians for their mastery over the complex art of wondermancy. However, he didn’t forget Lu Xuan just because the sisters were impressive. The phytospecter’s wooden body exploded before Tianming’s eyes and turned into hundreds of seeds that flew through the air. It was a truly exotic sight that shocked the countless spectators watching. Each of the seeds sprouted and quickly grew into gigantic tree humanoids that looked similar to Xian Xian’s dryad form.

Primordial Chaos Beasts, Archaionfiends, and spectral progenitors could be considered to be part of a greater category. Spectral progenitors were distant ancestors of the specter race, so it wasn’t a stretch to think that the plant-type specters were related to the Radix World Tree in some way. Then again, Lu Xun was an eleventh-level orderan and he wouldn’t submit to Xian Xian in this state. His countless leaves and branches were all over the battlefield.

“Since you dared to come after me, you’ll be banished from this place for a year, lest you keep annoying me.” Fu Xun eerily chuckled behind the storm of mirror fragments and plant matter. Tianming could clearly see his punchable expression; he really couldn’t stand how his lifebound beast could grow to become like that.

“Sixth is going overboard!” Ying Huo said, pissed as well.

“Beat it up!”

“I’ll pinch its face.”

“I’ll tickle its armpits!”

“I’ll pull its hair!”

The other lifebound beasts also couldn’t stand it any longer and charged, though the divine wonderians and tree humanoids blocked their way. Tianming knew this would be a tough fight, but he had his totems and Prime Tower, as well as the Imperator’s Mural, which was optimized for use with totems!

“Alright, let’s test out the power of the fused strike of the Imperator’s Mural.” He charged in behind Ying Huo and the rest with Feiling by his side.

“You guys are as pathetic as a kitty and a chick, to be subdued by a so-called beastmaster like that. You have no right to judge me,” Fu Xun said, his gaze appearing even more displeasing than before.
