Chapter 2984 - Is That All You’ve Got
Chapter 2984 – Is That All You’ve Got
Dust and storms were all over the place. After some wild cheering from the crowd, they eventually quieted down entirely as the atmosphere grew tense. This fight would determine the future of the entire Infinitum Mundus.
There was only room for one tiger on a mountain. These two already had grudges, and there was no chance of them joining up and working together to create a bright new future for the mundus.
Some might have once believed that, if Tianming and Yi Daiyan had joined hands during the invasion of Intrepidus and Myriadpath Valley, they would have taken the enemy out much faster and coexisted in peace after that. But the opposite had turned out to be the case. They had to settle who would rule the mundus before all these astral gods as witnesses, while the other one would end up dead!
The hearts of everyone watching pounded; they were probably more nervous than Tianming himself. In fact, Tianming didn’t think there was anything that he had to be nervous about. He was even more certain and assured. The power of his four lifebound beasts were within him, perfectly fused with his own. All their abilities filled him with power and vigor.
His current appearance made Yi Daiyan shoot him a weird look. However, she didn’t ask about it and merely turned into a blur as she charged at him. The two white-haired rulers clashed on the dusty battlefield! When the Grand-Orient Sword clashed with the black-and-gold sword flash, a loud, ear-piercing resonance spread out all over the place, forcing the audience to cover their ears.
In the next instant, Tianming’s abilities burst forth, creating a cacophony of fire, lightning, plants, seas, and mountains. Yi Daiyan’s totem ki and order power were also unleashed. The invincible goddess that had taken out an entire clan of people once more graced the world!
The crowd cheered despite the nervousness they felt. Among the trillions of people was a single headless man in a crimson-and-black robe, hidden behind the layers of dust in the air. He was still turning into a bloody mist as he kept himself hidden. He stretched out his palms to use the crimson and gold eyes on them to watch the battle. He knew how powerful Tianming’s bugs were when it came to surveillance, so he used his foundationeer abilities to keep himself hidden while he waited for a chance.
“Fight! Keep fighting! I hope you two are equally matched. Draw the attention of everyone. Only then will I have a chance to turn the Sun into a world of red dust… hehehehe….” Only he knew how hard he struggled and despaired in his current maddened state. But he believed that everyone would find out about it when the time came!
The two elite fighters had completely changed the terrain of the battlefield from their fight. Tianming had used many tricks in his arsenal. His omnisentient power was at a historical high and his body was in its prime. If he had been fighting Demoness Yin, he would have easily been able to dispatch her. But Yi Daiyan didn’t make it easy for him, especially not with how powerful she was while wielding the Infinitum Stele.
The omnisentient threads on Tianming’s body almost seemed to take physical form, making him look like the intersection of countless threads. The will of the people of the Sun gathered within him and became his own.
Yi Daiyan’s foundation fortress let out a black radiance from time to time, giving off the impression of a foreboding castle that seemed really luxurious within. In a way, it was similar to Ebonia, which looked dark at first glance but actually had a really bright surface from the illumination of the many cities in it. Yi Daiyan basically gave off the same air as her world: cold, mysterious, beautiful, and thorny like a rose. Tianming, on the other hand, brightly and passionately burned like the Sun.
Yi Daiyan’s foundation fortress applied pressure to lock down every single one of Tianming’s astrons. Normally, a foundationeer could easily crush first-level cosmic cartographers, yet Yi Daiyan’s order was being sucked away by Tianming’s Order Relic instead, not allowing it to harm him in the slightest.
Ying Huo and the others would normally fear order suppression, so they would have some trouble against foundationeers if they were fighting too close, even with omnisentient power. However, their astrons had been mixed with Tianming’s, so they no longer had such a weakness. Apart from firing off their abilities, they let him control everything to make sure they were safe.
The two fighters flew all over the place, slamming through one continent after another. Sword ki pierced through the skies above. Every time the two swords clashed, a grating sound rang out. It was as if the two swords were fighting to be the master of the other. The Grand-Orient Sword had legitimacy, but the Infinitum Stele had an artifact soul! As such, the latter didn’t submit when it faced the former. Instead, its furious and savage will mirrored that of its wielder.
Tianming’s grand lexicon wonder had reached the infinitum class, thanks to his omnisentient power, giving him access to nine hundred and ninety-nine of the most commonly used words. Each of them carried a law that could shift and adapt, no matter whether they did so alone or in combination with other words. Every one of them was useful for control and offense! Yi Daiyan was greatly limited in the face of them. As she wasn’t able to use her full foundationeer capabilities, her moves were easily countered by Tianming.
Tianming’s decapath era godswords with ten different aspects were a great match for the nine cosmic impulses within the Grand-Orient Sword. Whether he used the Grand-Orient Sword in its fused or split form, it was definitely on par with the Infinitum Stele! However, things weren’t going too smoothly for him either. Yi Daiyan hadn’t used her totems yet; she was still a decabane, with ten photonic regalfiends.
Her eyes flashed amidst the sandstorm when she had a good idea of Tianming’s full combat might. Then she took a step back, her eyes shining and a cold, somewhat disappointed voice came from her. “Is that all you’ve got?”
She closed both eyes and let her totems manifest from her bane rings. The photonic regalfiends seemed to have some kind of affinity with astral colors. They sparkled with astral radiance and emanated stunning beauty, but their faces were simple mirrors.
When Tianming saw them, he felt their terrifying totem ki. He was shocked and reminded of a familiar feeling. “Why do the mirrors on their faces look like the Cyclic Reflector?”
