I Know The Secret To Surpass Level 100

Chapter 215 - To Seal The Bless

Long ago, when the Adventurers and guilds were fully established, the creators sealed a thousand year old magic for the future generations.

It was said that the magic was too strong for them, a magic so pure and so explosive that anyone would fall into violence just by merely having a taste of its power. No one at their time could harness the magic to even 10%.

They believed that in the future, the Adventurers would be capable to utilize such magic. Therefore, they sealed the magic into manmade butterflies called the Twilight Wings.

Each of the Wings have the power of several Godly Adventurers at maximum power. Many believed that the power is close to infinite too, it would only run out when one would destroy all six Realms at once.

The magic that was stored was a magic from the Almighty Himself. He had blessed the world with a powerful magic but blessed it with too much magic that no one could use it.

Of course, Terra sought help from the other Realms. This was the time when the Five Kings were still untouched by the Abyss. The Five Kings contacted every Realm, even Hell, for assistance.

"We cannot trust them," the Sun King said. He was referring to the Demons of Hell. Ever since time began, Hell did not the best image among other Realms. "They will betray us and take the power. And they will use the power to destroy us."

"But we need everyone's participation," the Azure King said. "We need to have allies in this dilemma. Our people are dying just because of this magic. Its waves alone are poison to people. We cannot control it."

"But we can contain it," the Grass King said. "We can keep containing it until we can see the person who can make this overwhelming energy submit."

"What if we seal this?" the Purple King suddenly asked out loud. "We need to seal this magic and will let the future handle this."

"But how?" the Sun King asked. "We have lost so much just when we received the magic, so many Godly Adventurers lost their lives. How can we seal this then?"

"A competition," the Crimson King said. "We're going to start a competition, letting Adventurers participate. The strongest of them would have magic we need, and we will let them use that magic until we can seal the Twilight Bless."

"We need a vessel for that," the Sun King said.

The Crimson King smirked, "I have several."

"And that's the history of the Twilight Bless," Marrietta said. "Time would slowly errode the seal that was put onto the Twilight Bless."

"And is that a bad thing?" Elliot asked.

"It is," Marrietta turned to him and simply answered. "No one could still contain the Twilight Bless, not even in this generation. Unlocking it will result not only to the destruction of the capitol, but to the whole kingdom as well. The magic hasn't been touched for hundreds of years."

"It means that it had been charged," Elliot said. "Magic that could destroy Realms. How terrifying."

"If you're trying to save this world, then you should find a way to harness the magic," Marrietta said. "And that is, if you win this. Only the victor will receive the key. I heard it will be given by the seal to the winners."

"I will win," Elliot said. "I will win and that Twilight Bless can bend its knee before me. I will show it who the boss is."

"Your determination is crazily admirable," Marrietta smirked. "You're going to face death head on."

"Nothing new," Ellior shrugged. "If that's what it takes to save my Realm, I'll even wrestle with Death and take its eyes."

The woman shook her head with an impressed smirk written on her face. "You somehow remind me of the previous princess of Hell."

Elliot turned to her with a quizzical look, "What? There was a previous princess?"

"Malice's daughter," Marietta said. "The previous princess was kind. She was active and friendly, and she was also courageous. And to think that she was capable of what her mother could at her age made her the perfect princess in the Demons' eyes."

"But why was she the previous princess?" Elliot asked. "Did she die?"

"Something like that," Marrietta said. "She once went away, escaped from her realm. A couple of years later, she returned, but she was completely different. Her attitude has changed from jolly to sorrowful, from loving to resentful, and from kind to ruthless."

Elliot looked at his friends who had the same look as him. They were all worried and confused at the same time. "What happened?"

"Her heart was broken," Marrietta replied, staring at the wall in front of the bed. "Love does crazy things to people, and crazy things ruin people. That's why she earned her title, The Princess that was Ruined."

"That's sad," Elliot pouted. "I wish she would return to normal."

"We could only hope so," Marrietta said, turning her head to the window. "Only if it was possible."

"No!" A loud yell shook the room entirely. The black bricks that were used cracked as the woman continued yelling. "Where is my mother?! I want to see my mother!"

"Princess," an older woman tried to approach her but the princess widened her eyes at her, using her powers to create an invisible shield that threw the woman away.

"I want to see my mother. Why can't I see my mother?!" the princess yelled. She raised her hands beside her, thick black mist started to form a vortex on her legs, lifting her from the floor. "Why won't you let me see her?!"

"Your majesty!" Another maid barged inside the throne room. She bowed down after seeing all the Vassals inside, hurriedly walking up to the throne. "Your majesty, it's the princess."

"What's wrong with my daughter?!" Malice boomed.

"She wants to see you," the maid bow and the queen didn't wait for any response. Malice flew from her throne and into the door, running along the corridors down to her daughter's room.

"My dear child!" Malice yelled as she opened the door. Her hands found themselves cupping her mouth as she watched her daughter lift all the maids in the air using only black glowing hands that came from the shadows of the floor.

"Mother!" the princess cried and threw the servants away, landing on the ground with loud thumps while the princess ran to her mother's arms.

"Mother, I missed you, I had a dream," the princess cried. "The man took me again, mother. I don't want him to take me."

Malice sighed and gently caressed her daughter's back. She hummed her favorite lullaby to calm her little princess.

"No one will take you away from me, love," Malice whispered.. "Not the Angels, not the Terrans, no one."
