I Know The Secret To Surpass Level 100

Chapter 240 - The Five Hundred Points Spawn

The sand started shaking and the gentle waves started to become fearsome. The teams prepared their weapons and waited for the spawns to appear.

"And the spawns will rise in three…" Irv announced.

"Two…" Zia counted.

"One!"

And with that, hundreds of beasts rose from nowhere. The crabs dug out of the sand, the seals slowly came out from the waters with the sharks waiting in the deeper part of the sea with their fin out.

"Aquarius, should we go for the smaller ones?" Elliot asked. "Or should we go for the big one?"

"The sharks," Aquarius chuckled. "The further the beasts in the water, the higher their points. Maybe the five hundred point beast is in the furthest area."

"How will we…"

Ed was cut off when Aquarius raised his hand and conjured a large wave that was facing them. It was pointed towards the sea, garnering attention from the Adventurers around them.

"This is unfair."

"Why isn't he banned if he has the title?"

"He's not part of the Top 10. He's only Top 21."

"So, he's not as strong them? What a show off."

"There is a reason why guild master Frederick doesn't want our guild to have famous members," Aquaruis spoke. "That is why the guild master does not do large Campaigns, and the prince is only known as Lance instead of Lancelot Jacques Alorde."

"And that reason is?" Elliot asked.

"To surprise people," Aquarius turned to him as they stepped on the wave. "If they do not expect anything, then you don't have to do anything great to impress them. Just do one thing simple, something in your lane, and they'll be shocked."

"And to avoid toxic people," Midnight sighed. "A lot of Adventurers only join strong guilds so they could look strong. They're the biggest headache."

"In our guild we have plenty of strong ones," Minos added. "Yet, look at them, thinking equality instead of supremacy."

There was silence between them after. As they rode on Aquarius's wave, other teams copied his technique to reach the sharks, which had the highest number of points.

The shark spawns were at the further part of the fake sea. They swim on the surface of the water does not swim in the shallow area. It was occupied by the seals while the sand was filled with the crabs.

Aquarius dipped his hand on the wave and tried to feel the water. He sighed in disappointment after feeling nothing from it.

"They infused disruptors within the water this time," Aquarius said. "I can't know what else lies in these waters, so–"

A large ten foot shark leaped from the sea and on top of their wave. Apart from its steel skin and its scars all over its body, it looked just like any shark. Its eyes were glowing red and they looked like they wore their skin as an armor.

"Swing of the Skies!" Minos yelled and brandished his large mallet. It was the first time for the others to see him use his weapon. It was only in his back all this time and it was the first time they saw him brandish it.

Minos's mallet hit the shark in the face, the man adding electrical aspects in his weapon to shock the shark.

"Metal is a good conductor of electricity!" Minos laughed. "You're at a disadvantage, spawn."

It wasn't long after that the shark exploded into a dark blue mist. Its value of three points was automatically added to the Azure Scorch Guild in the screen where they show the rankings.

"Azure Scorch is having a tough early game," Irv announced. "They have been thriving so far, yet they're still at number 59. And it's almost half the time."

"We need to get more!" Minos yelled and swung his mallet to the side. "Let's get these sons of b*tches."

"Curses!" Hope cheered, leaping off the wave and into the waters. "I love cursing. Motherf*cking spawns!"

"Hope, what are you doing–"

Elliot was cut off when Hope landed right on the surface of the water. He brandished his sword and walked calmly, even when the sharks were swimming close to him.

"Supreme Dragon Force Water Rendition: Walk on Water."

A shark leaped from the sea and into Hope, with the boy letting his eyes glow with their colors and slashing the shark in half. His sword had pierced through the steel skin of the spawn. It exploded just how Minos's defeated one.

"I told you," Connor said. "Hope is getting scarier and scarier."

"He's just growing," Aquarius said. "If I provide support, I won't be able to attack."

"What do you mean?" Ed asked. "How will you act as support?"

"I'll let you walk on the water but in exchange, I'll have to temporarily disable my offensive skills, and healing ones," Aquarius said. "But it's still better than us just standing here, so go."

He waved his hands and ordered the large wave to disperse into smaller ones. As the waves split apart, they slowly got closer to the water, looking like his teammates were walking on it.

The other teams saw this and could only shake their heads in disappointment. This technique took Aquarius a while to learn and master. To create a wave that has a solid surface to walk on was one thing but to separate this wave into smaller ones was different.

"Okay," Aquarius yelled from a tall thin wave that was left of the large one. "You can't move around too much because I can't follow everyone's movements if you're all too fast. Move normally, as if you're walking. The sharks aren't much of a threat anyway."

His teammates nodded and they all attacked the steel spawns. Their points grew slowly, their ranks increasing right after.

"Oh," Zia cheered. "It seemed like Azure Scorch is now gaining momentum. As of the moment, they have 51 points. Circus Carnival is still leading with 112 points, and Cosmic Arch is second with 109 points."

"Take note, Zia," Irv said. "We still have more than half of our time. Alice Crest's guild is not far behind with 91 points. Her guild mates are, after all, promoted into the Top 200 after her promotion. I see a contender right here."

"Definitely a contender," Zia nodded. "But can this contender break the barrier between them and–"

She was cut off when the sea almost split in half, a giant geyser like water sprung up in the middle of the sea.

"Ohh, is this it?" Irv cheered. "Do we see it?"

Zia gasped, "I think it is."

Right in front of them was a giant squid was half the size of a castle and tentacles that stretched over the length of the fake sea.

"I-Is that…" Elliot trialed off as he watched the fearsome spawn.

"The five hundred points spawn!" The two hosts chorused.
