Chapter 390 - Masters
A sword was being brought back to its sheath as a cloaked man stood in front of the ten guards. Everyone was filled with hope after they saw him take down all ten guards with a single strike of his slightly curved sword.
"You reign of terror has come to an end, Sayu!" The man yelled, taking down his hood to reveal a young man. His skin was soft and it seemed to be radiating with pink tint like he was blushing.
His eyes were narrow, paired with his thick eyebrows and thin lips. Under his cloak was a pinkish white loose dress shirt with a traditional Shyakan clothing over it that he used as a coat. The coat was a deep blue silk with white lotus flowers embroidered into the cloth.
With his clothes that seemingly danced as he moves, his long black hair followed. It was tied to a ponytail by a thin gold rope with cherry blossom crystals at both the tip.
"It's the crown prince, Kaminari the Blue Lightning!" one of the people from the crowd yelled. The others gasped in shock and joy while watching the clad young man stand up against the usurper.
"You're nothing but garbage, Sayu," Kaminari said. "You were angry at the kingdom because you felt wronged when my father rejected your proposal to attack the borders."
"If we attacked their borders and became a great nation, we would have overcame the darkness that is Malice," Sayu gritted her teeth. "I was only looking out for the future of the kingdom, and all of you were narrow minded!"
"The Kkeuners have fallen," the crown prince tried to reason out. "They're a much larger nation than us, but they have fallen. Don't forget the Garunesia and Maharlika. All these kingdoms fell in the hands of the darkness. You think we would have survived it?"
"You're not seeing the potential I'm seeing, K," Sayu whispered. "You're not seeing what my eyes have seen!"
Sayu raised both her hands and conjured a dark green orb the size of a barrel. She thrust her hands to Kaminari's direction, destroying everything in its path.
The prince bent his knees and gripped his sword. He seethed as he inhaled deeply, waiting for the attack. He then closed his eyes and focused his power on his sword, making the slightly curved blade to be covered with a dark blue light.
"Deep Blue Slash!"
From the perspective of a normal person, Kaminari only unsheathed his sword by the third of his length and the green orb from Sayu was cut in half. It exploded behind him, creating tens of arms that reached out for the young man.
"Dark Blue Flash."
Kaminari spun, brandishing his sword fully and slashing it once horizontally. The arms that reached out to him suddenly stopped. The crowd watched as a blue line followed the space where Kaminari's sword passed through.
The line suddenly burst into electric shocks that shocked the arms into nothingness. Everything happened all at once, that a lot of the people in the crowd wasn't able to keep up.
"Why you–" Sayu was suddenly cut off when a man leaped out from her shadow. The man brandished both his swords and crossed them right on Sayu's neck.
"Stop right there," Lance said, glaring at Sayu with hostility. "One move and I'll make sure you'll never get headaches ever again."
"Little scrap," Sayu growled, but obeyed the order. She looked around and signaled her guards to not attack. "I love my life, so don't move."
From the crowd were three more people, Elliot, Connor, and Ed. They took the guards' weapons and took down the ones at the nearby towers. The three reunited with Lance who now was wrapping his chains on Sayu.
"You're the crown prince?" Elliot walked up to Kaminari who was talking to the people. "Excuse me, but can I talk to you for a moment?"
Kaminari excuses himself to the folks below the platform and went with Elliot, "I am very grateful for your help."
The man bowed with both his hands stuck on his sides. Elliot and his friends looked at each other in confusion before stopping Kaminari from bowing even longer.
"You don't have to do that," Elliot said. "We were just making sure that the threat is eliminated. Malice is an enemy of us."
Kaminari stopped bowing and nodded. "I forgot to introduce myself. I am Kaminari, the crown prince of Shyako. I am they Master of Lightning right before the other Masters attacked the kingdoms."
"Other masters?" Elliot asked. "You mean, Sayu is one of you guys?"
"There are six masters," Kaminari said. "Earth, water, fire, wind, lightning and metal. Each one of the Masters are in charge of two kingdoms. I was the protector of Shyako and Kkeun, but I failed to do my task."
"What about Sayu?" Elliot asked. "Is she a Master too?"
Kaminari shook his head, "No. The Masters are all male. The females are known as subordinates and has the title of Mistress."
"And Sayu is a Mistress?" Elliot asked to which Kaminari nodded to.
"Sayu was my subordinate and was the Mistress of Illusions. I don't know where I went wrong that she turned her back against us. She betrayed us, her own people."
"It was when you seduced me," Sayu whispered. She raised her head and screamed the next words, "You deliberately seduced me and when I fell for you, you dumped me in the trash like a piece of garbage. You're nothing but a coward who plays with women."
"But you are the one who comes to my chambers every night to please me!" Kaminari said. "I was just being a good mentor to you, but you fell in love. I didn't even know you wanted love in the first place. I suddenly heard that you were pregnant."
The entire crowd, along with the Avancians, gasped after Kaminari's confession. His face turned full on red as he tried to suppress his blush but failed. "Y-You got pregnant because you forced me to be with you."
"Why you little–"
Before Sayu could finish, a strong gust of wind spun across the city. A tornado was forming in the middle of the wooden platform they were in and a man walked out from it.
This man had a similar build to Kaminari. He was tall, had a muscular build, and had the same length of hair that reaches to their waist. He also wore an almost similar clothing to the lightning master. Although his colors and the flowers on his clothes were different, they were similar.
This man was wearing a blood red coat instead of the deep blue one like Kaminari's. The flowers on his coat were cherry blossoms, and the crystal on his tie were lotuses.
He raised his hands to his side and stopped the winds from spinning, calming the atmosphere and grinning at everyone in front of him. "And who said that the baby was yours, K?"
"A-Angin?"
"Indeed," the man in red smirked and raised his arms to his side, conjuring spheres made of air. "It is I, Angin the Master of Wind and Skies!"
