I Love Destroying Worlds’ Plot

Chapter 271: 7.67 Second Violet Star - Gone

Chapter 271: 7.67 Second Violet Star – Gone

The sudden appearance of Eirwen Night had thrown off the balance between the two factions. The light faction never expected that Lord Night would get himself involved with this meeting. After all, despite being a former human he is now a full awakened God. Gods are never the ones to get involved with the problems in the mundane world.

Now that the famous God of Winter has taken a stand before the two factions, neither the humans nor the demons know what he is planning and can only make the whole place fall into silence.

Eirwen Night smirked, “Didn’t you call this lord’s name? How come no one is speaking right now? Or is it that this women’s clothing and without my aura that you couldn’t perceive this God of Winter? That’s fine. It is truly weird to meet the current sovereign of the Divine Temple in this state~” he said as he changed his human state and unleashed his divinity as the true god of ice and blood.

As soon as Eirwen spreads his Godly aura as a divine being those who couldn’t feel and see anything weird from him before had all been forced to kneel down by the pressure his aura is giving them. It was overwhelming for the original residents of the mortal realm and abyss. Now regardless of race, unmindful of the factions, whether they are humans, beastkin, elves or demons they could only prostrate on the ground unable to lift up their heads in Eirwen Night’s presence.

Those who were spread can only be counted in one hand as they were also divinity who possess the energy of the world. Sadly, even among the Gods a clear difference in presence and strength cannot be ignored.

Neige and Araysh could bear with it but they still kneeled on one knee to show their greatest respect towards Eirwen Night’s real identity.

“Greetings to the Lords! Araysh and Neige give respect.”

The God of Light, Lucien, and the God of Darkness, Adrienne were completely unharmed. As the God of Winter and Blood’s other half, Eirwen’s divinity doesn’t cause them harm, instead, it fully complements their auras.

Since their beloved chose to stop pretending, these twin gods had no other choice but to show themselves and stood by their lover’s side. On their faces were expressions of disbelief and annoyance as they saw another person before them standing staggeringly in front of them.

Avel’s current thoughts were chaotic at this moment. Force to face someone who could overthrow him much more than the former sovereigns could do is now standing before him. Due to his greed and arrogance, he would sometimes ignore or forget things that don’t involve him. After seating on that throne, he had thought that with his current standing and authority no one else is stronger than he is. He is the mightiest and unparalleled but this kind of thought had only led him to narrowly see what he is supposed to see.

“No matter how big you get, no matter who you can push around, there’s always someone better out there who makes you lower your head.”

The current sovereign god, Avel, could barely stand up straight in the presence of the smiling god before him. Eirwen Night in his eyes is someone who is weaker than him not only in body and strength. Someone who couldn’t do anything with the help of the twin gods. A little ant he shouldn’t even give a glance. Avel had always thought of this ever since he had seated on that highest throne.

I can do anything.

I am the strongest.

Anything in this world is under my control.

Everything in this place should bow down before his authority.

I am the Sovereign and this world is mine.

That’s what Avel has always thought after being the sovereign.

But now standing before this supposed newly awakened God of Winter, he suddenly felt powerless and worse, a bug under his gaze. He could barely breathe and stand. But from within his body, a calm yet powerful aura spreads in his body protecting him from that heavy pressure Eirwen Night is emitting.

Except for the Gods, the others had no place in this situation.

“Tsk! Even in just a soul state, Mayim is protecting someone useless as you. Really~ just what it is that you have that the child protects you things way~ Annoying~” said Eirwen Night. “Except for the Gods, sleep…”

Lord Night had put everyone else except those who were involved with divinity to fall into slumber. The moment Eirwen lessens the pressure of his aura, Avel could only gasp for air as if he was freed from being drowned. But for some reason after hearing the name of Mayim being mentioned that all Avel’s fear had disappeared.

Cough! Cough…

“M-Mayim? You know where Mayim is? Tell me where he is?!” said Avel with urgency in his voice.

Eirwen responded, “Hm~ aren’t you’re supposed to be in love with Neige. Look over there your beloved is very near you~,” he said teasingly with his eyes full of mirth.

Avel only glances at Neige but returns his gaze on Eirwen and glares at him.

“I know… I already know that you guys aren’t the original people of this world. Except for the former twin sovereigns, the three of you aren’t from this world. You guys are foreign gods who borrowed those vessels~ that voice told me that!!” bellowed Avel.

Araysh spoke, “Hmp! not bad. At least you know your place.”

“Sigh~ Lou, please don’t get involved,” said Neige.

“Okay, I will not,” replied Araysh.

Avel glared at the exchange of the two only to be stopped when he wanted to approach Eirwen as if he wanted to grab him. At this moment even the twins’ expression turns into a frown and stands before Eirwen Night. The ones who stopped Avel’s tracks were Araysh and Neige before he could even touch the twin lords.

“Tell me where Mayim is!?” shouted Avel as he was blocked by the two.

Araysh, “Stop while you still have your life, kid.”

“Do not approach the Lord!” said Neige.

Avel ignored the two in front of him and continued to ask the same question towards Eirwen.

“Move! I am just asking something from him! Tell me where Mayim is. You do know where he is right? He suddenly disappeared! All his traces are gone and his temple… it fell in ruin.”

Eirwen made his move and parted the human shield in front of him and stood before Lucien and Adrienne. He crossed his arms and stared at Avel with an icy gaze.

“The temple of the Water God is withdrawn, of course, the God itself is already gone,” said Eirwen just based on his tone that he is not willing to tell Avel where Mayim is. “Why are you still asking where he is when… you are the one who had killed him!”

At the end of Eirwen’s words, his voice had turned frosty and scary, surely, his mood had turned bad being asked the same question again and again. Avel was shocked by what he heard that he had fallen kneeling on the ground. His eyes were dubiety and empty as he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Lie. LIE! You are lying!!!” shouted Avel.

Lucien covered his beloved ears and said, “Stop shouting! Or I will really pull out your fucking tongue!”

Adrienne even grabbed Avel’s collar and lifted him up even when he struggled, “You searched the whole divine plane and found nothing. You’ve even descended into the abyss and didn’t find him anywhere. Even after coming to this mundane land you still haven’t obtained any of his traces. Do not lie to yourself! The person you are looking for is already gone. Hmp!”

He threw him on the ground coldly. Adrienne’s anger is real for him shouting like that at his wife and calling his beloved a liar.

“No… NO! I don’t believe it. I do not! Mayim is not dead. He cannot be gone!” screamed Avel. His reaction is a sign of not believing, he truly couldn’t accept that the only person who had loved him is forever gone.

An evil smirk appeared on the corner of Eirwen’s lips as he approached Avel and squat in front of him, then he got closer until his face is near the latter’s ears and whispered,

“By the way… it might not be important to say this at this moment but there is something you should know… You still remember when you’ve almost died before you become a divinity right? At that time, I heard from Neige that you almost died in Ivern and woke up barely alive.

That time you’ve thought that the original Neige was the one who saves you but… As you already know~ the original Neige is a cold-hearted man whose feelings of love can only be moved by the original Araysh. There is no way that unfeeling Ice Spirit King would save someone dying in his own land.

The only reason you were able to survive that time is that someone else had made a sacrifice for you. In exchange for his original singing voice as a Siren, Mayim had begged Neige to save you. That’s why when you open your eyes and live it because of Mayim.

But what did you do in exchange? Because of obsession, because of your greed, because you envy those who have strength stronger than you, and because of your so-called liking to the original Neige. You… had killed and hurt the only person who loves you the most in this world.”

Avel was stunned to the point of speechlessness. The corner of his eyes was reddened due to his chaotic thoughts, his heartbeats had gone beyond control, and an unimaginable pain as if someone had dug out his heart. Then that mellow yet enchanting voice whispered of him the truth that he didn’t know.

He had truly wanted to ask himself, ‘Am I crazy!?’

The distorted expression on Avel’s face was full of sadness, agony, and regret. Tears made of blood stroll down from this former God of Wind’s eyes. He couldn’t believe what he just heard and flopped feebly on the ground. Then only the sound of muffled cries, a strained scream comes out of his voice. Avel could only kneel on the ground in sorrow and guilt.

He had killed the only person who loved him with his own hands.

But matter what he does now couldn’t revert the things he had done in the past.

It was already too late for him to apologize.

After all, that lovely person is gone forever.

AAAAHhhhh~~~!!!!!!!
