I Love Destroying Worlds’ Plot

Chapter 272: 7.68 Second Violet Star - This Man is... [End]

Chapter 272: 7.68 Second Violet Star – This Man is… [End]

The greedy god who had relinquished everything for power and authority. He sacrificed his current relationship with others, his standing as one of the major gods, his only friend, because of his obsession with his love of another.

But who would have expected, his liking for Neige which sprouted from a fragment of his old memories. From a single seed of gratitude which evolves to love. Was nothing but a misunderstanding.

Neige had never liked him whether as a friend or as a lover.

It was never this person who was in his lowest had saved his life.

It was not him.

But the truth hurts more than it is supposed to be.

The only person who had sided with him regardless of whether he did a good thing or a bad thing. The man who would accompany him in his sorrowful or bad days. Someone who possesses the courage to stand by his side no matter what and to the person who loves him the most in this world.

What did he do?

Because of greed, he took away his divinity… no Mayim opened his arms voluntarily and gave him his powers.

Despite knowing his evil plan of slurping the throne while the sovereigns are away, Mayim turned a blind eye to everything even when he hurt their friends.

Even after taking advantage of Mayim’s feelings of love for him, he had taken everything he could get.

Including Mayim’s life.

“Ah~ I am really… a scum!” uttered Avel in his despair.

But none of the other gods in his presence sympathized with him.

Worse of all, the God of Winter stares at him coldly as if he wanted to punish him more. He wanted to die but surely this God of Winter would never let him go that easily. Obviously, just based on that icy gaze of his, Eirwen Night had some kind of connection with Mayim.

And him as the person who had taken Mayim’s life.

There is no way he would be forgiven.

Hahaha~

Avel laughs like a madman despite his face being covered with his own blood tears. Remorse, guilt, and regret were eating up his heart. The name of Mayim was forever engraved within his heart.

This Sovereign God had squandered everything he obtained in all those years when he had just become a divinity. Even losing the only person who could love him, Avel truly didn’t want to live anymore. He wanted to end his life as he pulled out a God-slaying sword hanging on his waist. He intended to use this special weapon that could end a divinity’s life regardless of whether he is protected by the heavenly wills.

Most of the Gods who originally live in the divine plane knew what kind of sword Avel held within his hands. The twins pulled Eirwen Night behind them, closely protecting him with their life. Araysh and Neige were about to cease Avel’s movement when their body suddenly stopped moving with one command from Eirwen Night.

“Halt.”

Neige and Araysh’s body had followed that one word regardless of their heart’s struggles.

Araysh thoughts in disbelief, ‘He could control us even if we have our divinity!?’

‘…’ The calm thoughts of Neige.

Avel noticed what happened just now. He had also witnessed how Eirwen Night took over the control of the vessels originally owned by Neige and Araysh.

“Tsk~ I must be crazy thinking of fighting with this kind of monster,” murmured Avel as he glances at Eirwen before positioning the blade of the sword to his neck. He wanted to take his life and never to exist again. “Mayim~, I hope with this, at least you would forgive me,” he murmured in the wind.

He was about to slice off his major vein within his neck for instant death after closing his eyes but when he tries to pull down the sword warm hands stop him from moving followed by the scent of the sea that he is familiar with. When Avel opened his eyes, he saw the person he had missed the most to appear before him but only in his soul transparent form. It was Mayim’s soul who was protecting all this time from corrosion of that evil voice’s influence.

In the beginning, Mayim had no intention of showing himself in front of Avel in this form. First, he is already a dead man. The difference between the living and the dead can never be the same. Second, he was busy protecting Avel’s soul from the inside. He had always been with this person ever since that evil existence ate his vessel and divinity. Lastly, he thought that Avel was looking for him to punish him. After all, his situation is no different from suddenly disappearing without saying a word. The only thing that Mayim is afraid of is that Avel would hate him.

“I never blame you! Don’t do such a foolish thing!”

Avel’s eyes widened in shock, he almost let go of the sword and let the blade directly slash on his neck when Mayim threw it somewhere far away behind him. The sword almost stabbed some unconscious humans behind him.

“Tsk! I knew you would show yourself if that brat tried to take his own life. You’re spoiling him too much, Mayim!” said Eirwen and there is obviously a tone of scolding from his voice.

Mayim looked behind him and formally greeted Eirwen Night. After losing his vessel, the free time he had within his hands allowed him to check through his own memories.

“Mayim respectfully greets Lord Hei.”

When he first met Eirwen Night at the Spirit Forest, he had seen that the appearance of the soul and the vessel are different. Unlike Eirwen Night’s silver hair the soul possesses a black one which is a complete opposite shade of the other. Moreover, the features were completely different.

Even if in this world Eirwen Night’s beauty is enough to cause chaos in the city, the real appearance of the soul is a few levels above that. His features were perfect, not a single part of him can be called ugly plus the natural elegance he emits is already ingrained in the soul itself. Plus those phoenix-shaped eyes when looking at his surroundings seem to look down on everything in their world. He openly disdains the world energy and wills of heavens that their world possesses. Only some who hold strength beyond what a world could control would act this way. Someone like this would never be an ordinary being. Not only that, to Mayim, someone who possessed this kind of face would never be a human.

“Mayim is thankful for Lord Hei’s compassion.”

“Pft! Compassion. Child, I do not have that kind of thing. The only reason I am sparing him is because of you and the merits your parents had accumulated.” said Eirwen.

“My… parents?”

Mayim was stunned to hear things about his parents after they had ascended. Ascension in their worlds means they would be able to enter a different kind of realm that is above everything that they knew about. The Gods of Aerd are not omnipotent. That’s why Avel could replace the former rulers and sit on the throne. Everything in this world had requirements. In order to become a sovereign, one must be able to enter the divine temple and seize the throne. Only then you would be called a sovereign.

Eirwen says, “Yes… but as of you are now~ I couldn’t tell you anything. Telling things about ‘that’ place to people who haven’t ascended yet is against the divine law. I broke the rules once and… it was quite painful.”

[Host, it wasn’t just quite painful. It is only like that because it is you, host. If it’s the others they wouldn’t be able to live past the night.]

“Well~ that is also true. That time it wasn’t that much painful, but the vessel I’m using at that time broke down faster,” said Eirwen. Seeing everyone’s curious eyes on him, he couldn’t stop himself from wanting to tease them. He smiles at them playfully. “You want to know how painful it is?”

Everyone nods their heads collectively.

“Hm~ it’s nothing much. It’s just like trying to force a watermelon in your nostrils~ That much~” says Eirwen with an honest smile on his face.

Everyone’s thoughts: ‘So it’s painful as hell!!!’

Eirwen, “Either way since the brat surrendered you guys clean up the mess. I and my…”

Eirwen’s voice suddenly halted and everyone saw him grab Lucien and Adrienne who were standing behind him and threw them towards Araysh.

The following scene they witnessed is something they’ve never expected in their whole life. They saw Angela Evan holding the god-slaying sword stabbing Eirwen directly to his heart.

[H-Host? LORD HEI!!!]

Gold-colored blood stained the silver blade of the sword as if coating it with ingots. When the rest of them tried to come over to Eirwen’s side just one glance from Angela or either from the one possessing her body is enough to take over the control of their whole being. They were like ants under this being’s power. As is a baby fighting an adult man.

Some people like Warden Lou and Yun Ming who were born God felt what it is like to be completely powerless in front of someone. They couldn’t move. They couldn’t think, even breathing needs permission. Everyone else started gasping for air as if they were being choked by something invisible. Mayim and Avel were unrestrained but… they were instinctively unable to move at all. That’s right. They couldn’t even enter the eyes of that being.

“Breath! cough… COUGH!”

The sounds of coughing and panting resound in the area.

Eirwen Night used his ability to control others through words and prevent the rest of them from dying. Even System Yue who was in his avatar form was forced to materialize under Angela’s gaze. Only when he is sure that his husband is okay that he starts confronting the one possessing Angela.

“Don’t you think it’s embarrassing for someone of your structure to live in the vessel of the young lady that can be called a baby with your age?” said Eirwen with a smile.

But unlike his usual mischievous smile, his expression at this moment is that of madness. This shows how much Eirwen hates the person in front of him.

A man’s familiar voice comes out of Angela’s mouth. Those who had heard it before recognized who that voice is. The moment the crown princess spoke, the ones who reacted loudly were Avel and Mayim.

Mayim, “Isn’t this voice the one controlling Avel!? How… could he possess Princess Angie!?”

“Possessing? He was controlling me!?” exclaimed Avel.

Despite the loud noises in their surroundings, Eirwen and the one possessing Angela had never removed their attention from each other. One slip can only mean death in encounters between these two. An evil yet aggressive smirk appeared on Angela’s face.

“I’ve never expected you to soften your character in the face of an ant-like this vessel. Ah~ right that is impossible! People of your bloodline can never feel emotions or feelings towards others except for your own family and other half.

A Mo’s other half. That’s right… That is your only weakness especially if that half is too weak. Vulnerable enough that you have to protect it with your own life. Or else how can this old man even leave a scratch on the youngest monster of the Mo Family. If my target happens to be not those useless twins behind you, then you wouldn’t have to suffer like this just to save them.

Thanks to that useless thing, I was able to stab the heart of the most powerful yet youngest disaster divinity of all realms. The God of Destruction. This is the second time I am able to pierce your immortal soul like this and all because you keep protecting that useless thing.”

The thing possessing Angela Evan moves his eyes and stares coldly at Lucien and Adrienne. He coolly looks at them as if he is staringly dazed in thin air. He was seeing through their souls and checking on their connection to the original which is Ye Xiajie.

“Heh~ no wonder there is no reaction from him even after he had seen me stab you. Hahaha~ he is sleeping! I wonder how he would react once he had recovered this part of his memories.” The man’s voice said.

While he is being distracted by his laughing, Eirwen with a face full of anger flick Lady Evan’s forehead. In a split of a moment, the owner of that voice was forcefully separated from his host. Angela Evans fell back unconscious on the ground like a kite with broken strings. Then a man holding the sword appeared in front of Eirwen. This man possesses the same pitch-black hair as Ye Xiajie but unlike him, this person’s eyes weren’t black but instead emerald gold.

Dark red robes are worn not as a righteous immortal but a Demonic Immortal instead. Sharp features and a good figure. But no matter how one tries to hide his structure with those robes, this person couldn’t hide the savage and bloodthirsty temperament of his body. His presence is deadly and full of danger.

Murderous intent was used like a cloak encompassing his whole body. No matter which angles to look at. This person not only is similar to Ye Xiajie and even the darkness that surrounds him is the same. The only difference is their eye color and personality.

If Ye Xiajie’s aura gives away the feeling of danger but unlike this direct presence from this person, Ye Xiajie is more like a lurking terrifying existence. It was soundless, cautious yet overbearing. Yet this man in front of Eirwen is different. He is openly showing openings. One would be able to hit if one tries to do so. But no matter what the others do. The effect or result it would do, never changes that death would be bestowed to them after.

A direct person. The type that would do anything he wanted regardless of other people’s reaction. His existence is absolute and if you wish to defy him there is only one result, death. That’s right this person is the embodiment of death itself.

When his face was revealed the ones who reacted greatly this time were Araysh and Zhi Yue. This uncle has an extremely accustomed appearance to both of them. Their eyes were widened in shock and an expression of great astonishment can be seen on their faces, even their mouths were uncovered widely.

“T-This face… Lord God!!?” Araysh and Zhi Yue murmured horrified.

But this man who possessed a similar appearance to Ye Xiajie turned deaf ears to the words of Araysh and Zhi Yue, he took it as mere ramblings.

“Since I’ve killed your vessel in this little star then this old man is satisfied.”

“Oh,~ is that so?”

Eirwen suddenly grabbed that man’s wrist. Even though he is only in his soul form, Eirwen is still able to touch his psyche. The man didn’t dodge nor ran. His arrogance is notorious and unparalleled in all realms after all. He just raised one of his eyebrows with interest and the smirk on his lips remains the same. His emerald gold eyes interestingly watch ice spread to his wrist towards his arm.

“Little Jing~ ordinary ice essence is unable to harm this uncle~”

“Hmp! Who told you that this is an ordinary ice essence?” said Eirwen.

Only this time that the man’s smile had faded and his face turned glacial. He recognized what kind of ice, that could affect even this soul state of his.

“Eternal Ice!? You’ve even inherited this disgusting thing!? Hmp! If it’s like this then… this soul fragment isn’t worthy of retrieving.” He pulled out the sword from Eirwen’s body with no emotion on his face. With such a force the latter could only free his grasp on his wrist.

As the man said this, his form suddenly faded and turned into a blood mist dissipating until nothing was left. Only a lingering sound of that man’s voice lingers for them to hear.

‘This is not the end. Young Lord of Mo Family, Hei Anjing! Hahaha~’

Once the blood mist was gone, Eirwen who was staring at the distant horizon started staggering. His vessel is indeed dying. Lucien and Adrienne caught him before he fell to the ground. On their faces were expressions of bitterness, guilt, and anger mixed all together. It was an ugly sight to behold.

“Jing’er~” calls the twins with tears in their eyes.

Zhi Yue, Araysha, and Neige also come over.

“L-Lord Hei… a wound from the god-slaying artifact… that even came from the upper realm cannot be held in this world. Only back to the Nether System could the lord heal your… injuries,” said Zhi Yue.

Cough!“I know. Just don’t let the wills of the heavens in this world pull me out without my permission again!”

“Lord… I promise to stop it!” said Zhi Yue. “But even then… you couldn’t stay for more than a few minutes. After all, that vessel… is eroding…”

“Haha~ I know. Yue, after I leave, you pass the merits of his parents to Mayim. Give him those options.”

“As you wish, Lord Hei! Yue would fulfill your command perfectly.”

Eirwen, “I know. Move away… all of you. Only Lucy and… Rienne to stay.”

“Yes!” Araysh, Neige, and Zhi Yue saluted before leaving them to have the lovers to their own privacy.

Eirwen’s eyes were already dull. He already couldn’t see. His heartbeat had long stopped and his vessel was already dead. The only reason he could still speak and move is that he is forcing his soul to move the broken vessel with his own strength. The twin had not uttered words of nonsense like ‘We will heal you.’ or ‘You are not allowed to die.’

Lucien and Adrienne as the real rulers of this world. The heavenly wills of Aerd are directly connected to them. All they needed to know. The state of Eirwen. His current situation. Why couldn’t he linger in this world? And what would be the consequences if he did? The wills of the heavens had all passed the information directly to their minds.

If they wanted for Eirwen Night to live, they must let him go back to where he came from. Even if it means that they have to be separated once he does so. They could only hug their beloved with no words to say.

“Do not cry. This isn’t a permanent separation. We would meet again in another world.”

“…”

“Before I leave there is something you need to promise me. Can you both accept it?”

Adrienne was the first to respond, “Yes… Anything. Whatever it is. I agree!”

“I promise you as well,” said Lucien.

“Good. You’ve promised. You cannot take it back!”

“We won’t!”

“I want you… to promise me. Do not leave this world unless you fulfill the task this world has given you. Only when… you reached the real truth of this world that… you would be freed from here.

You cannot destroy this world or take actions that would accumulate bad karma. I will wait for you outside. Since you told me yourself that… then I can only wait for you… to wake up. Remember…. in all realms. You are… my everything! My only… love…”

After saying these words Eirwen finally closes his eyes. His godly vessel in this world slowly turns into silver sand spreading in the earth giving its last blessing to the world. The twin sovereign silently weeps. Their beloved left no traces of him when he took his leave. Just like when he arrived in this world unpredictively. Even his departure is something beyond their control.

Zhi Yue warily approached the Lord God’s soul fragments. Following a seat behind him are Araysh and Neige. They waited until Lucien and Adrienne calmed down. None of them spoke a word and they remained quiet. Once the traces of tears faded from the faces of the twin sovereigns, Lucien and Adrienne’s expressions had gradually turned cold… they’ve become emotionless like machines.

Adrienne was the first one to say, “Yue, had Jing’er returned to that place safely?”

“Yes, Lord Adrienne. Lord Hei had safely returned and entered meditation to heal his injuries,” answered Zhi Yue. He kept his head low and his gestures were completely servile.

This is how the people who work in the Nether System treat the Lord God. They were all just mere servants and they weren’t allowed to meet the ruler’s eyes. Araysh and Neige were acting the same way. No one here is a fool not to notice how the Lord God changes in personality whenever Lord Hei is no longer around. The Lord God they knew is like this. Cold, indifferent, distant, and merciless. Nothing else is important. Orders are absolute.

Lucien said, “Complete what our wife told you to do and then immediately return to his side and serve him well, Yue.”

“As you command, Lord Lucien.”

The twins’ lifeless eyes move to Araysh and Neige. Normal people would tremble under those emotionless eyes. But these two were used to it and reacted naturally.

“How about you two? What do you plan to do?” said Adrienne as his tone is dull and frosty.

Araysh answered, “Araysh will leave this world after the Lords. Neige could only leave once this servant took his leave as well.”

Adrienne, “I see. Then pass our decree to the people of this plane.”

“As the Sovereigns reigning we will no longer descend in this mortal land,” said Lucien.

Adrienne, “Wars are forbidden until the next sovereign seats on our throne.”

“Breaking this decree only means death. Not an ordinary death, but the whole being perishing. There will be no chance. Isn’t life supposed to be only one?” said Lucien.

Then their eyes move towards Avel’s direction. Avel and Mayim tremble, meeting those dull orbs.

“Former God of the Wind. Accept your punishment,” said Adrienne.

Avel upon hearing this could only kneel in front of Lucien and Adrienne together with Mayim in his soul form.

Lucien spoke, “You had broken the laws of the world. Steal the throne. Harm the other Gods and get involved with the being of the lower realms. Thus, you shall be punished.”

“Your divinity will be stripped away. You will leave as a human with your memories completely intact. You must serve in the name of righteousness. Only when you have accumulated enough good merits can you return to the divine realm. Do you accept this punishment?” said Adrienne as he looks down on Avel with only coldness in his eyes.

Avel kowtowed and responded, “This lowly one accepts the punishment!”

Lucien looks at Mayim, “God of Water you had tolerated his schemes and turned a blind eye to him harming the other Gods. You are to be punished as well but your offense is not heavy.”

“You are punished to return to the divine realm with us and… you are forbidden to contact the God of Wind until he successfully re-entered the Divine Plane. You will begin your training and lesson on how to become a sovereign. I and Lou would stay until you are able to sit on the throne on your own. Do you accept?” said Adrienne.

Mayim kowtowed beside Avel and said, “This lowly one… accepts.”

Lucien, “Good. Listen to what Yue is going to say. You will return to the divine plane with Araysh and Neige after you say your goodbyes.”

“Araysh, you clean up the rest,” said Adrienne.

Araysh replies, “Yes, My lord.”

Adrienne and Lucien departed and returned to the divine plane. After Avel and Mayim bid their farewell to each other, Araysh removed Avel’s divinity as the Lords commanded. Before they’re returned to the divine land, Araysh had announced the decree from the sovereigns. All races whether it was the light or dark faction could only accept the decree. Araysh and the rest ascended back to the divine land after cleaning up the mess. Only Avel as a human was behind to serve his punishment.

There are varying reactions from different races. The humans accepted it as truth and declared to accept the decree from the sovereigns without a question. The Elven and Beast race silently accepts as well. This is because some of their seniors had explained the existence of the Sovereigns who descended on their land to observe. They believed that the war between the light and dark factions had angered those two and this was the punishment every race had to receive.

The portal that connects the abyss and the mundane world was removed. Adrienne had closed it up completely after throwing back in the demons that lurk in the land of humans. The existence of Eirwen Night was removed from the minds of all mortals. This is Lucien’s decision as he hated the fact that the human girl whom their beloved had treated as a family would get possessed by that bastard and caused this whole situation. If not because of the promise they’ve made with their wife, that these two would have obliterated the other planes except the land of Gods.

Days turn to months and the months turn to years, what happened next is the continuation of this world
