Two weeks have passed since I started playing Legacy of the Betelgeuse Online, sadly I can't play with my dad since we only have 1 pod and I have to switch when my dad is back from work, so I can't play in the evening because my dad is using it. Fortunately, I'm not that busy and I can play the game all day from morning to evening, and right now my level is 194 thanks to Aven and the others that helped me level up and carried me in dungeons.
I'm playing another MMORPG on my computer and somehow I don't feel like playing because Legacy of the Betelgeuse Online already gave me the best gaming experience and I don't think anyone can compete with that. Thinking about how awesome the game is making me uninterested in playing the MMORPG I'm playing right now and immediately close the game while leaning on the gaming chair while playing with my phone, then someone knocks on the door, I look at the door and raise my eyebrows.
"Yeah? Come in, it's not locked."
My dad opens the door and takes a peek at what I'm doing, I look at him while still leaning on my gaming chair, scratching my head, and playing with my phone.
"What's up, dad?"
My dad enters the room and sits on the bed while staring at my monitor.
"You're not playing with your computer? I thought you were playing a game."
I'm rubbing my face while stretching my right arm and yawning.
"Well, I'm not interested in these games anymore, dad. Legacy of the Betelgeuse Online took my heart and I can't stop thinking about it. Anyway, what are you doing here, dad? It's weekend and you should play when you have the time."
My dad is giggling mischievously and then grabs his phone and shows me some kind of receipt of payment from an E-commerce website. I squint my eyes and look at the receipt and I jolt from my gaming chair and grab his phone forcefully, I look at the receipt of the gaming pod with 90% off the price, I look at my dad while giving his phone back.
"How?! How did you manage to find the pod that cheap?! Are you sure that's legit, dad? What if you get scammed?"
My dad is scratching his head and shaking his head.
"No, I don't think so, the one who sold this is one of the famous players in the game and she said that she doesn't need it anymore because she already has another one so she wants to sell it for a cheap price for those who are in need of the pod and I was lucky enough to get it first."
I furrow my forehead while sitting on the gaming chair facing him.
"She? She's a famous player? What's her in-game name?"
My dad scrolls down his phone and looks at the seller's name.
"Uh, Rus.. Ruscheller? Yeah, Ruscheller."
I lean on the chair while throwing my arms to the back.
"What the… you're so lucky, dad."
My dad is furrowing his forehead and tilting his head.
"You know this player? Is she really famous?"
Before I can answer his question, someone rings the bell, We both look out the window and see delivery guys are standing in front of our house with a huge box behind them. I'm surprised and look at my dad, he's just smiling and raising his eyebrows repeatedly at me.
"Let's play together from now on, yeah?"
I laugh and look at him.
"Dad, you're awesome!"
We both go down and help the delivery guys put the pod into our gaming room, my mom is just staring at my dad but then he showed the receipt to her, and she approved it because of how cheap he bought it while Leah is surprised to see dad bought another pod and leaves uninterested about it. After we are done installing the pod, we both look at each other and smile, we then log in to the game so we can play together.
I'm at the Hebraum Kingdom and look around the city, then I go to the Fjel Town where most people use that town to meet up nowadays. I'm waiting for my dad and I don't know how his character looks like, so I'm waiting for him near the teleportation device. I look at my friendlist, Aven and the others are online and they're currently near the Pit of Hell with their clan members, I wish I can join them but sadly I can't join their clan yet because my level is under 200 because that's the requirement to join their clan.
"Allen?"
I look at the tall guy with long hair who just called my name, I lean my head back while furrowing my forehead.
"Dad?"
He nods and crosses his arms.
"Yeah, wait, Allen, you're using your real face in the game? Are you not afraid that people will notice you?"
I tilt my head and just stare at him with confusion.
"Huh? Isn't that the purpose? If there's someone who recognizes my face, then that means they know me in real life so we can play together in the game. What about you, dad? Why are you look like a Viking?"
My dad is shrugging while lifting his hands.
"Well, I'm quite the opposite because I don't want my friends to know that I'm playing this game. By the way, stop calling me dad, call me by my name, Bjorgeous or you can just call me Bjorg. How do I look? I look cool, right? I have been wanting to have this massive beard and long hair like a Viking since I love Viking!"
I force my chuckle and nod.
"Yeah, sure, dad… I mean, Bjorg. Anyway, let me add you as a friend first then we can start leveling together."
My dad is nodding with understanding.
"Sounds good to me."
I add him to my friend and his level is 154. It seems that he barely leveling up his level and just playing the game for fun. After I added him, I invite him to form a party so we can farm items and level up our level, but then Aven is messaging me.
[Allen! I didn't know you're playing right now. You said you can't play on the weekend? Anyway, come to the Pit of Hell because Queen Arachne just spawned and everyone is here to kill her, hurry!]

I tell my dad about the World Boss Event, and he looks excited about it as well since this is our first time seeing the World Boss. We both then hurriedly run to the Pit of Hell where Queen Arachne and her Mini-Bosses are, I have been watching and reading the mechanics of Queen Arachne and how to defeat her. I somehow feel confident with my skill even though I haven't fought her yet but by the information that I read, I think I will be able to survive and do some damage to her.
We are near the Pit of Hell, and we both now can see players swarming around the forest, most of them are just watching from the distance and those are newbies like me while the rest are running onto the plain field where Queen Arachne and her Mini-Bosses are at. My dad is looking at Queen Arachne from the distance and he's shocked to see something that big is in the game, I just chuckle and tell him that there was an alien that was way taller than the Empire State building but he didn't believe me.
We approach Aven and the others, my dad introduces himself to them. I look at Queen Arachne and then look at Aven.
"Why are you guys here? I thought you're going to take her down with your clan?"
Aven is pointing his finger at a group of players far in front of him.
"You see those players over there? Those are our commanders and the guy standing at the front is our clan leader. He wants us to wait until Queen Arachne uses her next ultimate skill then we will strike her underlings, so right now we are just waiting here and enjoy the show."
I'm humming with understanding.
"When did she use her ultimate skill?"
Ilvia is sitting on the ground while leaning on the tree.
"A few minutes ago, why?"
I smirk and look at her.
"Then me and my dad will go ahead first, let's go, dad! I mean, Bjorg…"
They're just snorting and nodding with understanding, me and my dad then run toward Queen Arachne that's surrounded by thousands of players. My dad grabs his bearded axe and looks at me.
"Allen, watch this!"
My dad throws his bearded axe, at first I thought he's going to hit one of the Mini-Bosses but then I realize that he's targeting Queen Arachne and I immediately look at him with disbelief.
"Dad! What are you doing?! You will aggro the strongest monster toward both of us!"
My dad is just looking at me with confusion, and as I expected, Assail Arachne is now running toward us, both me and my dad can't survive his attack. We both turn around and try to run for our lives but then we hear a metal sound coming from behind us, we both turn around and see someone is blocking Assail's attack. I'm surprised to see the player who's blocking Assail's attack.
"Maine Cassair!"
Main Cassair is looking at me and he smirks.
"Are you guys alright? Be careful next time."
Suddenly a woman walks past us and approaches Main Cassair, I'm shocked when I can finally see her.
"Willy, take care of Assail while we are going to handle the rest."
Main Cassair nods with understanding then pushes Assail Arachne away and slashes one of its scythe legs. Main Cassair then lures it away from us, I'm tapping my dad's shoulder and pointing at the woman who's holding a whip sword.
"Dad, she's the one who sold the pod! She's Ruscheller! The Sadistic Beauty!"
My dad's eyes are wide open and scoff while shaking his head.
"Holy smoke! She's gorgeous!"
Suddenly so many players are walking past us, my jaw is dropping when I see, My Lewdness, Papa Papaya, FrancesK, Beegnat, Grisell D'Aca, Chelsea Adilene LeBlanc. They're all jokingly mocking each other and talking about who's going to take the MVP, all of them are Ivonna Ivon's friends and her Apostles! I look around and hoping to see her but she's nowhere to be found, I kind of disappointed but seeing all of them together in front of my eyes, it's more than enough!
I look at my dad and point at them.
"Dad, these players are the strongest player in the world!"
