111 [Bonus Chapter] Roy vs Yuriel and Agustin!
Roy didn’t encounter anyone until he reached a huge open place.
Torches could be seen on the walls.
They were lit up, their fire brightening the hall.
The hall had many pillars, and there was an altar at the opposite end.
Around it, four chaotic beings stood.
‘Since I am going to fight a group, I should change my title to the one that’ll give me the greatest advantage against them.’
『You’ve taken off the Nightmare of the Young Chaotic Beings Title!』
『You’ve equipped the Title that increases each of your basic stats by 10 points.』
Whilst changing his title, Roy went under their nose and hid behind a pillar to spy on them.
『Ding! You failed to inspect Rindra, The Chaos GhostWalker. Having received the kiss and touch of Chaos, all the memories “Mana” had about him have been eradicated from the world!』
This notification confirmed Roy’s suspicion about why he could get others’ background information using Perception. Mana was actually a living entity, just like a microorganism. It had the special property of storing information. Whatever happens in a place infested with mana automatically gets recorded into a Database of the World called “Mana.” This Database couldn’t be accessed by anyone. Maybe Far West could access it. But in the novel, the female lead had that gift. She had a soul shard that allowed her to read the memory of mana. Roy’s Perception skill was as good as her ability!
He wasn’t panicked, although he failed to inspect him.
Considering the fact that only unawakened could enter this small world, GhostWalker should be on the same, if not lower, level as him.
『Ezequiel』『Agustin』『Yuriel』

Because Chaos hadn’t eradicated memories related to them from the Mana Database, Roy was able to gauge their stats and backgrounds.
Of course, he didn’t have the time to read their profile.
He just spared a glance at their status screen.
“There is a great difference between our stats. This is going to be an easy battle to win.’ He thought, battle intent blazing his eyes.
Suddenly, he heard them chatting with each other.
“They only had to fetch two captives from the floor down below. It’s only a three minutes walk. What is taking them so long?” GhostWalker said grumpily.
“Maybe they are slacking. Should I go and check it out?” Ezequiel offered.
Feeling pleased with what he heard, GhostWalker turned his head to him. “Sure, and smack them ten times on the face for me if they are slacking.”
“I will.” Ezequiel started walking toward the stairs while whistling. If he knew that death awaited him behind the pillar that was close to the way out of this hall, he wouldn’t be so carefree.
Agustin tightened his hand into a fist, feeling excited. “Once the rituals are held successfully, we’ll be able to take down the Guardian, and the shard will be ours! We’ll be one step closer to realizing our ambitions.”
A look of greed could be seen on their faces. They wanted it at all costs. That’s why they’ve sacrificed so much and planned so much.
Just then, they heard the sound of bones cracking.
Following this, the healthy and powerful voice of a young man reached their ears.
“That’s not going to happen. I will make sure that. So Forget about holding the ritual or defeating the guardian and getting the shard, and worry more about how you will survive me.”
With these words, Roy attracted their attention. Three vicious gazes landed on him, but he didn’t feel any different. Reflected in their eyes was a young man who ripped off Ezequiel’s head from the rest of his body.
『Ding! You’ve killed a legendary Level Chaotic Being. You get 240 EXP!』
Angered at the death of his Knight, a vein popped up on the neck of GhostWalker.
“Very daring of you to kill one of mine. But you committed great foolishness. That was the same as signing off your life. You… you have walked into hell! It will be impossible for the likes of you to escape it!!!” GhostWalker glared at Roy. His voice was grating to Roy’s ears. Roy found it quite unpleasing.
Without much change in his expression, Roy chucked, “Have I really? I’ll be honest with you here; I don’t think it’s hell for me, But, uh… you’ll be pushed inside the real one pretty soon.” Roy scoffed, “Marks my words. This place shall be your grave.”
GhostWalker’s expression stiffened his face hardening, his lips pursing.
Roy seemed to have taken after Arlo in the aspect of pissing off people.
He had annoyed GhostWalker to the point that he wanted him dead.
“Get him!” GhostWalker said, “Use the Chaotic Sword Formation to suppress him!”
Following his orders, Yuriel and Agustin drew out their blades and rushed toward Roy.
The distance between them was covered, and then they attacked him.
Their attacks were swift and fierce, raising the wind and making it whistle. One was stabbing rapidly with his sword while the other was swinging it around powerfully. The stabs left behind phantom images. And the swings created a sharp gust of winds. This was really a Chaotic sword Formation, powerful and destructive.
This was enough to push an entire group of trainees into death’s embrace, but Roy… he could be seen moving like a carefree free, maneuvering his ways around their weapons and even dodging the wind gusts.
Feeling frustrated at being unable to land a strike on Roy, Yuriel felt frustrated. And he screamed out, “Is dodging all that you can do?”
“No, I was just finding an opening in your formation. And since I’ve, I guess it’s your turn to get attacked. Do your best to dodge them.” While saying this, Roy curled his knees. An instant later, like a bow springing out of an arrow, he rushed towards them at an incredible speed. “Amuse me, demons!”
This really looked like a God of War going all out to get rid of evil!
