MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1797 1797: Receiving Rewards (3)

“Is there a reason behind adding the words ‘2nd Firmament’ to the title?”

After Valyr was done reading through the next set of notifications, the young man spent some time to calm down from his shock before asking Xervei a question.

“A bit, but mostly because it sounds cool,” replied the latter as he decided not to hide the truth from him. “However, that doesn’t mean there’s no basis to adding those words.”

Whoosh!

Extending one of his hands outward, the man went ahead and summoned a wisp of Shadow Energy for Valyr to see.

“Just like us, energies have realms they could break through that would allow them to unleash higher power,” he said, only to then turn the energy making up the wisp into Void Energy.

“For Shadow Energy, its next realm would be Void Energy, while the realm that comes after that would be Abyssal Energy.”

Valyr faintly nodded in understanding.

“Having upgraded Shadow Energy into Void Energy yourself, do you think it’s possible for Shadow Energy to triumph over Void Energy in terms of might?” Xervei asked soon after.

The young man shook his head.

“There’s a stark difference between the power contained within both energies, making it near impossible for Shadow Energy to be stronger than Void Energy,” Valyr began to voice out his thoughts. “The only way it would be possible is if the Shadow Energy used was augmented with the user’s strength.”

“Exactly.” Xervei nodded in agreement. “Without any other variables, it’s impossible for Shadow Energy to beat Void Energy. Part of it is that the former relies on the transformation of seven basic emotions, while the latter relies on the transformation of eight.”

“As for the remainder, that’s because Void Energy stands on a higher realm than Shadow Energy.”

“Do the realms for energy correspond to the same realms we go through?” asked Valyr, his expression curious as he looked at Xervei.

“Yes and no.” Though, rather than the man himself, Florentine was the one that answered his question instead. “You know what comes after Void Energy, right?”

“Abyssal Energy.” Valyr nodded. “After that comes Chaos Energy.”

“Correct.” Although Florentine wanted to ask the young man where he had heard of Chaos Energy, she decided to push that thought aside for the meantime. “Now, let me ask you this.”

“If Shadow Energy corresponds to the realm of mortality, then what realm does Void Energy correspond to?”

“The Myth level?” answered Valyr after giving the question a bit of thought.

“Not at all.” Florentine shook her head. “Though, you wouldn’t be the first one to think that way.”

“Instead, Void Energy actually corresponds to those at the pinnacle of mortality.”

“…Huh.” Valyr was slightly confused after hearing that. “So you’re saying each tier of energy doesn’t correspond to each major realm?”

“Nope.” Xervei shook his head at the question. “Though we don’t know if energies have more realms the further you go, we are certain that there are only two tiers of energy for the mortal level and the Myth level.”

“I see.” The young man gave him a nod after some time. “Since that’s the case, what comes after Chaos Energy, then?”

“That…” The Overseer could only give him a wry smile in response. “Unfortunately, the Shadow Plane does not know either.”

“Or well, we kind of do, but we’re not really sure if it’s actually the tier that stands above Chaos Energy.”

“Got it.” Seeing as the two really did not know what truly came after Chaos Energy, Valyr decided not to pursue the matter any further.

“Anyways, is it safe to assume that ‘2nd Firmament’ stands for the fact that I’ve pushed the energies making up Prime Azure Energy to the next realm?”

“Pretty much.” Both Xervei and Florentine nodded in agreement.

Nodding back at the two in return, the young man went ahead and told the system to bring up the title’s description.

‘Did the Overseer also add more to this title?’ asked Valyr to himself, curious to see if the man would do the same thing for the next title.

Fortunately, he did.

Ding!

————

[Originator of the Prime Azure — 2nd Firmament] (Title)

Rarity: Ancient+

Azure Energy was… most of the description has been omitted.

This title serves as proof that you are the creator, the originator of Prime Azure Energy, a beacon now guiding the Shadow Plane.

Yet, with your achievement of bringing both the mana and Shadow Energy aspect of Prime Azure Energy to its higher form, this title also serves as proof that you have brought Prime Azure Energy to greater heights, allowing it to enter the so-called realm of 2nd Firmament.

Effects:

> 10% boost to all stats

> 10% boost to maximum HP and MP

> 35% increased efficacy in controlling all types of energies

> 35% boost to comprehension rate involving concepts and skills related to Azure Energy and its constituents

> 50% boost to the maximum amount of Prime Azure Energy one could hold

————

Although the additional effects given to the upgraded title weren’t as varied as the ones Valyr obtained from [Darling of the Shadow Plane], the boost to both his stats, as well as maximum HP and MP were definitely two things he did not mind having more of.

On top of that, the original effects of the title were improved considerably, with both his level of control, as well as his comprehension rate towards Azure Energy going up by 10%.

However, the greatest improvement to the title would definitely be the increase to his maximum Prime Azure Energy, which went up by 15% compared to before.

‘Though, considering how Prime Azure Energy has taken the place of my mana, it’s more accurate to say that the effects in that regard have gone by 25% instead of 15%,’ thought Valyr as he closed the screen he brought up with satisfaction written all over his face.

“So, are you satisfied with the titles?” Seeing that the young man seemed to be done looking through his notifications, Xervei went ahead and asked him with a smile.

“Very.” The former nodded with a smile in return. “I’m very happy with what you’ve done to the two titles.”

“Two?” Xervei paused at the word. “Isn’t it supposed to be three?”

“Three?” At those words, it was Valyr’s turn to be confused.

Though, as he tried to recall the words the man uttered just as he had given him those upgrades, the young man eventually remembered that Xervei planned on giving him a new title on top of upgrading his other titles.

Realizing this, Valyr went through his notification screen once more, scrolling swiftly past the first two sets of notifications to see what kind of title the man had given him.

Yet, once he found out what kind of title it was, the young man began to wonder what kind of life he’d been living in the past.
