Chapter 767 - Second Spear
Lord Teshafir and Lord Kaligan could not remain calm after seeing what happened to Lord Grunganir.
In fact, they have no idea what happened to him.
Looking at Lord Grunganir's twin heads which seemed intact without any deformity, it was clear that Leon's double smack did little damage to them.
Despite that, death still claimed Lord Grunganir's life.
"What did you do?!" Lord Teshafir questioned Leon with a cautious and serious look while keeping a safe distance between them.
Lord Kaligan also showed a similar look.
"You ask something rather strange. What else does it look like to you? Obviously, I killed him," Leon shrugged.
"Cheeky bastard, you know exactly what I am talking about!" Lord Teshafir said snappishly.
"I really don't know what you are talking about. When don't you come over here and we can discuss in detail?" Leon feigned ignorance while taking a step forward.
At the same time, the two Arch Demons simultaneously took a step back.
Leon immediately smirked at their cowardly but cautious attitudes.
The Arch Demons were very arrogant and domineering when they thought they had the upper hand, but once they came across something they didn't understand, they immediately took a careful approach.
"I didn't know Arch Demons can be such scaredy-cats. If you don't want to fight, then you all better piss the f*ck off!"
Lord Teshafir and Lord Kaligan's expressions immediately darkened at once.
"Everyone, attack him together!"
Lord Kaligan commanded the demon army, but the demon army failed to comply with his command immediately.
At that moment, the Mid-rank Greater Demons and higher-rank demons were still going around slapping the weaker demons out of their shock.
"Snap out of it!" they shouted.
"Oi, oi! The Lord Arch Demons are commanding us to attack the noble demon!" a Greater Demon eventually relayed the news to the rest of the demon army.
Nevertheless, the Arch Demons lost their patience while waiting for the demon army's response.
"Hurry up and attack that traitorous noble demon together before I kill you all myself!" Lord Teshafir barked impatiently with a threatening tone.
The Greater Demons had no choice but to charge ahead while Lesser Demons were still recovering from [Lion's Roar]'s shock.
"Dammit, let's go!"
"Charge!"
"Kill the noble demon traitor!"
During their charge, the Greater Demons shouted to bolster their confidence, raise their morale, and overcome their fears.
Leon resummoned his Tier-5 Bone Spear and dived straight into the army of Greater Demons fearlessly.
He knew what the Arch Demons were planning; they wanted to use cannon fodders to force him into using the Nihility Law again so they could study and understand it.
However, he did not intend to satisfy their wishes.
His awakening, energy, and body cultivations combined guaranteed that he had no opponents among the Greater Demons.
"Arghhh!"
The demon cries quickly echoed as Leon tore through the enemy's line with his Tier-5 Bone Spear covered in jet-black power of darkness.
Overlord Spear Art's Second Spear – Spear Vanquishing the Demons!
Leon thought it was ironic that he was using the power cultivated by all demons to defeat them, but the Overlord Spear Art's Second Spear proved its effectiveness.
The jet-black spear cleaved right through the Greater Demons like tofu, leaving behind shadow trails that made the spear look like a grim reaper's scythe for a brief moment with each swing.
Demon limbs and flesh flew while scattered blood froze in midair before gathering towards Leon, forming a miniature blood sun above his head.
Then, the blood sun revolved and channeled the refined origin blood into his blood, supplying him with endless stamina, never tiring, keeping him in peak performance at all times.
It is the state he needs to be in, should the Arch Demons decides to make a sneak attack on him.
"Urarghhh!"
Suddenly, a Mid-rank Greater Demon leaped out and attacked Leon with a Tier-6 halberd and fury burning in its eyes.
"Do you remember me?!" Lebrantz roared venomously.
Cling!
"I don't!"
Leon replied as he clashed weapons with the single-armed Evil Eye Greater Demon before grabbing the Tier-6 halberd and giving a strong kick to the Greater Demon's stomach.
Rip!
The force of Leon's kick tore off Lebrantz's remaining arm and sent his body flying into another ground on incoming Greater Demon, knocking them over like ten-pin bowling.
"But I will now! Thanks for the gift!"
Leon added while tearing off the Greater Demon's dismembered arm that still had a firm grip on the Tier-6 halberd.
"Arghhhh! I'll kill you!" Lebrantz roared furiously in the distance after losing his remaining arm.
However, the other Greater Demons knocked down by him suddenly picked up his body and tossed him into the backlines.
"With what arm?! Go and get your wounds treated!" one of them barked.
"Dammit!!" Lebrantz cursed.
After switching his Tier-5 Bone Spear out for the Tier-6 Halberd, Leon immediately resumed his arm with another horizontal sweep.
Spear Vanquishing the Demons!
The Tier-6 Halberd was immediately wrapped in jet-black energy before it cleaved right through the slow Greater Demons around it while blasting away the ones that managed to block his weapon.
The Overlord Spear Art's First Spear was good for fighting individual opponents, while the Second Spear was good for fighting large groups.
The Greater Demons were not his opponent, but there were still exceptional Greater Demons with the group as one managed to deflect his halberd before counterattacking.
Ding!
Leon parried a female High-rank Red-Horn Orc Greater Demon's sword aiming for his head before sending her flying with the butt of his halberd.
"Lord Ishtalir!"
Geramut and a few other Red-Horn Orc Greater Demons immediately rushed to catch the female High-rank Greater Demon.
"Are you alright, Lord Ishtalir?!"
"I'm fine!"
Ishtalir broke free from her clansmen's arms before she suddenly spurted a mouthful of blood and dropped to her knees.
Although the butt of the Tier-6 halberd was not a sharp edge, the power packed behind it broke her bones, damaged her inner organs, and almost punctured a hole through her stomach.
"Lord Ishtalir!" the Red-Horn Orcs supported her.
However, Ishtalir broke free through their arms again while wiping the blood on her mouth with irritation.
"I said I'm fine!" she said snappishly with a frown.
Shortly after, the High-rank Greater Demon eyed the Arch Demons, wondering when they would make their moves.
