Chapter 680: First Great Dao Sage Promotion

Chapter 678 – First Great Dao Sage Promotion

Nuwa bitterly smiled, “The one disgusting is not me but Pangu. He robbed Mu-Nyang’s Primordial Chaos Realm and killed him. Pangu was the one behind the Players. Mu-Nyang managed to reincarnate and is now rebelling against him. In a sense, we have one common enemy!”

“Don’t lump me together with the likes of you! I died protecting the Heavenly Dao Universe 25 million times without the memory of all previous lives. You never, even once, told me about the one behind the players! Hell, you didn’t even try to help us!”

Orochi bellowed at her face, frustrated by the truth of the universe.

“Then, what are you going to do? Fight us, who is fighting against your nemesis?”

“…”

Orochi narrowed his eyes. Then, he looked in other directions.

Currently, sages from Heavenly Dao Universe had been gathering in front of their portal, watching Orochi from afar. Jieyin and his men had already collected all four airdrops from the medium world and brought them back to the portal.

The sages disgusted Orochi. He choked Nuwa’s neck.

“Where are the Players!?”

Nuwa sneered and pointed north, “You’re no match for their Great Dao Sage. If you want strength, you’d better join us.”

“I see. Then, you’ll be accompanying me to see your leader!”

“…”

Orochi dragged Nuwa along with him and entered the Chaos Realm Faction’s portal together.

WHOOSH

As soon as Orochi entered the Chaos Realm Faction’s plane, an army of giant Cathulhus surrounded him.

Mir, who was the sole unrestrained sage Cathulhu, confronted the invader. She glanced at Nuwa, who was being held as a hostage.

“So, friend or foe, munya?”

Nuwa looked at Mir and shook her head, “He’s here to negotiate with Miaomiao. Don’t kill him.”

“Fine, munya.”

Orochi furrowed his brows as he sensed the superior law aura of Mir. Her eyes and her breathing told him that he could be instantly killed with a sneeze.

The disparity between a sage and an unrestrained sage vexed Orochi. Still, he had learned about the Sacrificial Altar from Nuwa, and he wanted to use it to fight Pangu.

“Bring me to Mao Miaomiao.”

“Hmm.”

Nuwa led Orochi toward the flying island.

While Orochi was heading toward the island, he scanned the plane with interest. He noticed several precious natural resources and pylon towers, including the small catopuses.

Orochi had the urge to gather the green gas to increase his Connate Qi. However, he was wary of Mir and the presence of another unrestrained sage on the flying island.

Curious about Mu-Nyang’s faction, Orochi obediently flew to the island.

As soon as he arrived, the unrestrained sage that Orochi had detected came out to greet him. He was none other than Tlaloc.

Upon seeing the faceless Chaos Demon God, Orochi was stunned.

What a profound aura of law and physical body!

“You must be Orochi,” Tlaloc blankly sized up the legendary dragon.

“Junior Orochi greets senior sage,” Orochi humbly cupped his fist. Then, he looked up. “May I seek the audience of Mao Miaomiao?”

“That’s LORD Mao Miaomiao for you!”

“…”

Nuwa widened her eyes, surprised. She hadn’t expected that Tlaloc and Miaomiao would have gotten along, especially after Miaomiao had done to the existence karma of Tlaloc’s remnant wills.

While Tlaloc and Orochi were glaring at each other, Miaomiao came out of the sect’s hall after he had chased his wives back to their living quarters.

Orochi sized up Miaomiao. He raised his eyebrows, amused by Miaomiao’s unique cultivation base.

“You’re not a sage, but you have the air of a sage. What are you?”

“I’m Mao Miaomiao, the sole Immortal Sage!”

“Ha! How pretentious. It sounds like you’re better than sages, but you’re merely an immortal.”

Miaomiao smirked. He glanced at Fuxi, who had returned before Orochi and Nuwa.

“Then, I’ll be frank. Will you join us, or will you fight us for your underlings?”

Orochi crossed his arms. He looked down at Miaomiao, “They belong to me, so I can do whatever I want with them.”

“So?”

“I will give some of my clones to you. But in exchange, I want to use your Sacrificial Altar!”

Miaomiao shrugged as had predicted this. He gazed at Tlaloc.

“My subordinate gets to use it first. Since you have 1,000 useful minions, I’ll use 890 of them. The other 110 of your clones will be sacrificed to boost your cultivation base. How’s that sound?”

Orochi grinned, “Fine. I don’t need all of them anyway!”

Pseudo Sage Realm was a tier higher than the Deity Realm. Therefore, instead of gathering 1,000 gods to upgrade an Unrestrained Sage into a Great Dao Sage, Miaomiao only needed 100 of them to upgrade Tlaloc or Mir into a Great Dao Sage!

With 1,000 useful sacrifices, Miaomiao would get Tlaloc, Mir, and Orochi as his Great Dao Sage pawns. Then, these guys could begin their offensive campaign against Hongjun and Players!

“Alright. Senior Fuxi, I will need to trouble you. Senior Tlaloc as well.”

Tlaloc and Fuxi nodded at Miaomiao. They flew toward the Sacrificial Altar right away.

Noticing that Tlaloc and Fuxi made their moves, Orochi followed. He also released Nuwa out of his control.

Nuwa let out a sigh of relief. She bowed at Miaomiao.

“I expect a proper reward after this.”

Miaomiao smirked, “I’ll let you and Fuxi use the Altar and become Great Dao Sage. How’s that?”

“That’s more like it!” Nuwa was delighted.

“Go and tell Fuxi about it. I’ll be operating the building from here.”

Nuwa rushed to Fuxi’s side right away. She was so happy that she forgot to release her vessels, including Adam, from her dantian universe.

Miaomiao laughed at her. He opened the Sacrificial Altar menu.

Ding

All structure authority belonged to Miaomiao. He could expel unwanted allies from using them whenever he wanted to.

In this case, everybody needed his permission to use the building first.

“Yes.”

A new menu appeared. It showed a cauldron with 1,000 empty inventory slots. The description below was clearly written as Sacrifices.

DING

“Yes.”

Fuxi, as well, needed to operate the building. After all, he had captured clones of Orochi inside his clothes.

DING

A hundred bloody icons of Orochi’s clones appeared in the Sacrificial Altar’s menu. Then, Tlaloc designated himself as the upgrade target.

The cauldron animation in the menu began shaking as it collected the 100 icons of Orochi’s clones inside.

Miaomiao walked toward the edge of the island and peeked at the altar, checking what they were doing.

Surprisingly, the 100 clones of Orochi had already been chopped into a thousand pieces, and the pyramid altar was already bloody. The stones shone and they absorbed the blood, and a massive amount of Connate Qi and unknown energy flew into Tlaloc.

“Hahahahaha!”

Tlaloc’s body slowly floated. He sensed the great power that he had sought for years.

BOOM

Tlaloc broke through instantly.
