Chapter 345 God Zephyros (4)

”Haaahh!” The Players began seeing a chance of winning. Their eyes shimmered in a light of hope.

Then, the Avatar placed a shield in front of him and was getting pushed back step by step. His face looked rather droopy and scary. A drip of blue blood dripped down from the corner of his mouth.

In his vision, he saw his life seeping out from his corpse. The light of spring was nowhere to be seen, and he seemed like a mortal.

‘Me… Die? Never!’ The Avatar of God Zephyros’ moved his shield forth and destroyed the attacks. A shockwave followed after the sudden movement, and a few Players were knocked out from their feet.

King Jonathan planted his feet on the ground and managed to fight back. Then, he moved his sword in front of him and shouted, ”Attack!”

”Yeah!” His subordinates screamed in unison and began marching forth.

”Jonathan, don’t!” Then, Queen Diana’s voice came from the side. King Jonathan didn’t stop moving. Instead, turned to look at Queen Diana with a questioning look.

”The Avatar is doing something!” King Jonathan could hear her clearly. He raised his arm and stopped marching. His subordinates followed after and began motionless.

Everyone turned to look at the Avatar that was glowing in radiant red!

”Haahhhh…” For some reason, the sound of Avatar’s breath caused everyone to take a step back. Some distance away, Isaac stood up and frowned.

”Haah!” The God Zephyros’ Avatar roared at the ceiling, and soon, his protruding vessels began glowing in red. Then, he moved his toes before leaping forth!

Everyone was alerted after the Avatar made a sudden movement. They looked where he was going and saw him running toward the wide-open door!

In there, Kizone and Oxwell paled. While Oxwell turned around and fled. Kizone couldn’t leave the room. There was some kind of invisible wall stopping him from taking even one step.

The Avatar’s ghostly shadow loomed over him. When he turned around, he saw the approaching sword.

Only one question arose in his mind, why him?!

Then, when the sword was about to descend, a bullet whooshed through the air and landed squarely on the Avatar’s jaw.

”Arghh!” The Avatar lost his reasoning. He turned his gaze away from Kizone and began seeing red as he saw the white-haired youth holding his sniper rifle.

Crack!

The ground cracked as he lunged forth. His body became blurry as he dodged every attack thrown at him and soon reached Isaac’s pale figure.

He raised his sword and grabbed it with both of his hands. Then, he hammered it down with a shout of rage, ”HAAAAAAAAH!”

Isaac bent down and then jumped up. His legs moved like a spring, and he managed to jump high enough to be at the same eye-height as the Avatar.

He could clearly see the Avatar’s rage-filled red eyes. The sword crashed down to the ground and destroyed another part of the hall.

Their eyes were locked, and it seemed like the time had stopped. Every Player present widened their eyes in shock and thought that Isaac would die.

Then, Isaac positioned his gun in front of him and pulled the trigger. The recoil pushed him a meter back, but that wasn’t anything to him anymore.

”Hmph!” The Avatar saw the bullet coming slowly toward him. He angled his head to the side and followed the bullet with his crazed eyes.

The bullet was nowhere from hitting. Instead, it passed the Avatar and drilled through the wall on the other side of the hall.

The Avatar changed the grip on his sword and did an upward slash. He hoped his next attack would be enough to slice Isaac in half.

However, Isaac pointed the sniper rifle’s barrel to the side and pressed the trigger. The recoil pushed him to the side, allowing him to dodge the deadly slash.

Then, he landed on the ground, but he saw a shadow looming over him. When he raised his head, his eyes shook as he saw the enormous sword falling straight down to him!

The Avatar frowned but didn’t stop slashing down. He thought his sword would be enough to defend against the bullet.

However, the next moment shocked everyone!

[Wraith’s Shot Used!]

Isaac’s lip curved upward as he shouted, ”Fake!”

”Eh?” The Avatar pondered what that meant. He thought that his sword would contact the bullet. Then, a tiny projectile phased through his steel sword and flew straight toward him!

His eyes shook in a shock, ”Wha—”

”Real!”

The bullet drilled through the Avatar’s eye, leaving a sizeable hole behind. He wobbled back and was one step away from falling down. However, he leaned forth and managed to stabilize himself.

However, there was a wretched pain assaulting his nerves. The Avatar let out an agony-filled shout. While screaming, he felt the hot liquid pouring down from the hole.

”Everyone, attack!” Following Isaac’s attack, King Jonathan took control of the Players and ordered the attack. His subordinates followed his orders blindly and began running toward the Avatar, who hadn’t stopped screaming.

”Ahhhh, I will never lose!” The Avatar smashed his shield down, which had enough strength to make everyone near him fly away!

Isaac flew across the air and crashed painfully on the rocky ground. He rolled for several meters before finally coming to a stop with blood-riddled arms.

”Spring Time!” After the shout, King Jonathan knew that something was horribly wrong. He stopped and motioned for his subordinates to put shields forth.

The Golden Crown Members circled around King Jonathan with their shield planted on the ground.

”Hmm?” Queen Diana and the rest of the Black Arrow Members stopped and began looking at the ceiling.

From the tiny gaps and cracks of the ceiling, orange leaves began dropping. Everyone stopped and looked at the beautiful sight.

Soon, the leaves dropped down to the ground. One of the Players stretched his hand forward and tried to catch the leaf.

The leaf landed on his hand. Then, something unbelievable happened. His skin began rotting with speed visible to the eye, and he couldn’t even let out a scream as he was shrouded by hundreds of leaves.

Then, his body disappeared from the World of White.

King Jonathan paled and shouted, ”Don’t touch the leaves!”

However, his order came too late.
