Chapter 2571 - Changes to the Flameyellow Coffin
Chapter 2571 – Changes to the Flameyellow Coffin
With enough nova source and divine ordered patterns, it would only be a matter of time until the Sun turned prosperous. The descendants of the flameyellow divinities definitely didn’t lack a hardworking spirit. They were natural-born builders and contributed to their own cause! Tianming trusted that they would be able to triumph in a world like this, as well as the fact that he would be able to bring them guidance as feedback as their ruler, not to mention cultivation resources from the Infinitum Mundus.
They would all grow stronger, and when they did, he would, too! Nothing had brought him more confidence than his sun. Never had his heart thumped with so much excitement. It felt like the whole world had perfectly fused together with him. His being had become one and the same with the star that shone in the astralscape, journeying across the sea of stars! The rivers that flowed were his blood, and the waves of the seas were his heartbeat! The mountains were his body, filled with latent power.
As he was relishing that sensation, he heard an annoying voice from a distance. “Tianming, my son! Your daddy’s here!” By the sound alone, he knew it was Wudi. He looked up and saw a red-haired man descending toward him, mounted on a blood-colored great peng. His hair and chest hair fluttered almost disgustingly in the wind.
“Damn, Lin Xiaodao and Lin Wudi look each like gross middle-aged men in their own unique way….”
Wudi and his kunpeng finally landed before him. Before he could say anything, Wudi leapt toward him and excitedly hugged his arm. “Son! Look at my coffin! I hit the jackpot!”
“What?” It took a while before Tianming realized what coffin he was talking about. “Did the Flameyellow Coffin exhibit changes after the sun rose in class? Take it out and let me see!”
“It’s too big. I’m afraid you’ll be shocked to see its size,” Wudi chuckled. He backed off, cleared his throat, and raised his brow at Tianming. “Foolish child, behold!”
He put out his hand and took out the terrifying cosmic artifact left behind by the flameyellow divinities and sent it flying forward, but not too far as it was far too heavy. The moment it landed on the ground, it caused it to crack and shatter! Then the coffin rapidly grew in size, sending Tianming flying back before he could even react. To think that it was so powerful that it could blast him back without intentionally being wielded to strike him.
Wudi himself seemed completely unaffected and laughed at Tianming’s pitiful state. “Looks like you’re just the number two genius in the Infinitum Mundus. You still have much to learn from me, the number one!” He had already broadened his standards from the Grand-Orient Realm to the Infinitum Mundus.
“How dare a puny ascendant boast before an astral god such as I? If there’s one thing you’re number one at, it’s unfounded confidence,” Tianming said, rolling his eyes and still backing off. While he didn’t really pay much heed to Wudi, he was still shaken by the Flameyellow Coffin that still continued expanding, pressing the ground flat around it as it did so. The earth itself parted as nova source surged upward, forming pink clouds in the sky.
“Heavens!” Tianming realized that the cosmic artifact was now the size of a deific-class divine astralship, but there was no divine astralship formation. That said, the materials used to make it were still more precious than that of astralships! “The Flameyellow Coffin might be an imperial-class relic. I just wonder how much it’s been restored.”
At the very least, it was already at the sanctuary class. Tianming had never seen a cosmic artifact that could rival a ship in terms of size before. When the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was still a heliacal-class ship, it could carry tens of millions of people. However, the Flameyellow Coffin seemed to have a capacity of a few billion from the outside.
Tianming kept flying upward, but he still couldn’t see the top of the coffin. From a distance, all he could see was a wall of gold and crimson. It took much more height for him to see what it truly looked like. It sat stably on a newly-formed continent that had cracked from its weight. The continent seemed even larger than the Flameyellow Continent on the Welkin Plane! The Flameyellow Coffin was ever so wide and expansive.
“Isn’t this too big for a cosmic artifact?” Feiling and the other girls were also stupefied at the sight they saw from the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb in the distance.
“It’s yet another relic from the flameyellow divinities. I wonder what changes its transformation will bring to the Sun….” Xiaoxiao, having grown up on the Flameyellow Continent, held Orderia in a special place in her heart. It was something she had looked up to in her childhood, the symbol of the ultimate! And Tianming wanted to know more about it just as much as Xiaoxiao did.
Wudi stood atop the cover of the Flameyellow Coffin with his arms wide open, seemingly basking in glory.
“Is that enough showing off?” Tianming said, landing beside him.
“Isn’t it cool?” Wudi asked, flexing his biceps.
“So what if it is? I still don’t have a godmother. Don’t you feel bad when you think about Old Ye, who’s still on the Flameyellow Continent with his harem?” Tianming mocked.
“You little shit!” Wudi raised his fist to punch him.
“Oh? Are you trying to scratch my itch?” Tianming was just like a metal wall to him. Punching too hard would hurt Wudi instead! “Is that all the top genius of the Infinitum Mundus is capable of?”
“Looking down on your daddy, I see? Just you wait. The changes of the Flameyellow Coffin will surely impress you.”
“Just show it to me already and stop dragging this out!”
