Chapter 280 – Episode 280: Jessica And Trevor.
Jessica grabs her spear and puts it into her inventory, then she looks at Trevor and walks toward him. I'm just looking at her and taking a photo of her so I can show it off to my sister while the others are celebrating on taking down the Malevolent Clan, Trevor is looking at her while still leaning on the wall. I see them both are having a conversation but I can't hear what they're talking about, it seems they both are friends in real life or something like that. Jessica waves at him and then she logs out from the game, and then her allies are doing the same.
Trevor is looking at Kyle and the others are celebrating their victory, and I think it's a good time for me to have a talk with him while the others are busy. I approach him and he tilts his head while looking at me and raising his eyebrows. I wave at him and he just nods up at me, I stand in front of him and look around.
"Are you Miss Jessica's friend?"
Trevor is crossing his arms and nodding.
"Yeah, you can say that."
I furrow my forehead and am so confused with his answer. Trevor stands up and looks at Kyle while fixing his hair.
"Alright, my job here is done and I have to go now. Tell them that I say goodbye."
I nod with understanding and then Trevor leaves the room.
Kyle is gathering all the clan members that are in the throne room, we are standing in front of him and he thanks us for being here for the event, also he says that he will give us a few ransoms to all of us, not just him but the Hermes Clan leader will also give us a few ransoms as well. Kyle looks around and asks about Trevor's whereabouts but I tell him that he left already, Kyle is humming with understanding and then he starts explaining a plan to defend the Highland. Fortunately, we are not chosen to defend the Highland, and Cecilia won't be helping either since she's busy in real life so we are free for today. I decide to log out from the game because it was exhausting and I haven't had my lunch.
I log out from the game, and I realize that my dad is in the pod right next to me. I get up and leave the gaming room, and as soon as I leave the room I see Leah is playing with her phone as always at the dining table. I approach her and just grin at her, she looks at me weirdly and raises her eyebrow.
"What?"
I chuckle mischievously.
"You won't believe who I just saw in the game."
Leah is squinting her eyes while scoffing and then continues playing with her phone.
"I don't care and I don't want to know."
I keep chuckling and then grab my phone and open the photo I took in my email. I open the photo and show it to her, she takes a glance at my phone and continues looking at her phone, but then she immediately looks at my phone again and grabs my phone from my hand forcefully. She looks at it with her mouth and eyes wide open, I laugh at her and cross my arms while staring at her. She looks at me and puts the phone down.
"What the hell?! You met Jessica in the game?!"
I nod.
"Yeah, and you know what?"
Leah raises her eyebrows with curiosity.
"What?"
I smirk and raise my eyebrow.
"A friend of mine is her friend and I can see her whenever I want! Suck on you, I can talk to her every time she's online in the game."
Leah is shaking her head with disbelief.
"No, you're lying! I don't believe you! There's no way you have a friend that knows Jessica! Your friends are all nerds and geeks!"
I tilt my head.
"Well, not all of them! I have friends that are popular, okay? But this one is actually not a friend of mine but more of like an acquaintance, but if I want to see Jessica again, I can ask his help and he will bring me to her."
Leah leans forward while grabbing my arm so tightly.
"Are you serious?! I want to meet him! What's his name!"
I pull my arm while rubbing it since it hurts, then I scratch my head while raising my eyebrows.
"Well, his in-game name is Trevor, but I don't know his real name though. Oh, speaking of Trevor, you must look at his character. Here, take a look, this is Trevor."
Leah tilts her head while looking at Trevor's character on my phone that I searched on the website. She looks at him for quite a while and squints her eyes.
"Well, he's kind of good-looking. No wonder Jessica knows him since he must be an actor or a model like her. Well, he's handsome and I admit that but isn't that game you're playing that can customize the character? There's no way he's like that in real life, Al. He must be fat and ugly in real life, I can guarantee you that."
I laugh at her and shake my head.
"No, I heard that he's like that in real life too! You told me that there's no way he knows Jessica if he's fat and ugly as you said."
Leah scoffs.
"No, there's no way, I don't buy it."
I sigh and pull my phone.
"Well, whatever…"
Suddenly Leah grabs my hand and pulls my phone toward her.
"Hold on! I think I have seen him somewhere…"
I furrow my forehead while raising my eyebrow with confusion. Leah is looking at Trevor's photo while she's looking at her phone as well. She's opening Photogram and immediately clicking on Jessica's profile then she scrolls her screen and skips hundreds of photos of Jessica. I look at Jessica's photos on Leah's phone, and then Leah stops scrolling and comparing her phone with mine. She leans her head back while looking at both photos back and forth, I'm so confused and I decide to look at the photo on her phone. It's an old photo of Jessica is laughing and sitting next to a guy that looks familiar.
Leah drops her phone with her eyes and mouth wide open while staring at nothing, then she looks at me while keeping that same surprised expression.
"Holy sh*t, Al! This guy is Jessica's ex-boyfriend!"
I look at the photo so thoroughly and keep looking at the guy, and so I believe that this guy that's sitting next to Jessica is Trevor. We both look at each other with disbelief, and then we look at the date when she posted the photo, it was two years ago. Leah starts looking for some information about Trevor on the web and she finds a little information about him, he used to be a model and he was the one who helped Jessica during her modeling career. While we are busy reading the information, suddenly my phone vibrates, I look at the notification and it's a notification of a game forum and there's a hot trending topic with the title "Jessica Malice knows Trevor."
I tap on Leah's shoulder and show the thread to her, we both read the thread thoroughly. Someone is also doing some research about Trevor, and that person also found out that Trevor used to be a model and exposed that Jessica and Trevor used to be in a relationship. There are a few photos of him and Jessica in that thread that we both haven't seen, Leah looks so excited and grabs the phone from my hand so she can look at them clearly. After she's satisfied with looking at the photos, I look at the comments in the thread and everyone is so shocked about the revelation. Some are starting questioning why they both broke up and they start blaming Trevor because he must be the one who dumped Jessica. I'm so sick reading all the negative comments toward Trevor and so I closed the tab immediately.
Leah is laughing with disbelief while shaking her head.
"This is some juicy gossip! I want to find out about it more!"
I squint my eyes and just judgingly stare at her. Leah raises her hand while staring at her phone.
"Oh, Al? Can I use the pod? I want to meet him! I want to know everything!"
I roll my eyes.
"Hell no! If you want to use the pod, use dad's pod! That one is mine!"
Leah is grinning and giggling with excitement.
"Alright! I will ask dad about it."
(At the mansion.)
Chelsea is looking at the thread and then she looks at the person that sitting next to her.
"Uh, Trev. If Ivy knows about this, I bet she will be so mad at you."
Trevor looks at Chelsea and raises his eyebrows.
"Nah, she won't. I already got her permission to meet Jess so there's no need to worry about it."
Chelsea tilts her head while raising her eyebrows.
"Well, but the community will hate you more though."
Trevor scoffs and smirks.
"To hell with that, I don't care."
