Ivonna is doing a live stream on her computer since she hasn't live streamed for quite a long time. I watch the TV with Emma and William while Chelsea is putting on her earphone and humming a song that she's listening on her phone. Suddenly Emma changes the channel and switches it to a fashion channel because she's interested in fashion ever since Chelsea is staying here with us, both William and I are just glaring at her uninterested. Suddenly Emma is gasping while pointing at the TV, the three of us are startled and look at the TV. Jessica is being interviewed by the host and the three of us are listening to the interview.
The interviewer is smiling while reading the piece of paper in her hand.
"Miss Jessica, this question isn't related to your business or career but I heard you have been enjoying the game that you're playing right now. I heard that you didn't attend so many events because of the game, is that true?"
Jessica is laughing and shaking her head.
"No, no. That's not true at all! I was preparing my role for my next film since the film director is my huge fan and I really want to give my all in my role so that's the reason, not because of playing a game. Honestly, now that you mentioned it, I do enjoy playing the Legacy of the Betelgeuse Online because I can be someone that I have never thought that I would be able to. As everyone knows, the game moves slower than in real-time, and I use that opportunity to exercise my acting in the game as well."
The interviewer is keep smiling at her and nodding with understanding.
"Okay, so I heard you are strong in the game as well because your guild or clan is the strongest from one of the factions right now, is that true? I heard people are playing the game because of you and they're helping you to reach your goal in the game, what's your comment about it?"
Jessica looks at the people walking by behind the camera while smiling.
"It was all because of my fans and supporters that I can become someone like I am right now in real life and in the game. I won't call myself strong because there are millions of people in the world that I believe is still stronger than me, in fact, my clan just lost a war because our opponents were unbelievably strong. I kind of feel sad, but I learned a lot from them."
The interview is gasping and looking at her with disbelief.
"Oh, can I ask you for something a bit private?"
Jessica looks at the interviewer and furrows her forehead while smiling.
"Uh, sure? As long as I can give you the answer for that."
The interviewer nods and looks at the paper in her hand.
"We did some research and we saw a hot trending topic in the game forum, it says here that you met someone in the game that shocked all the players because the person that you met is in fact infamous amongst the player. This person that I don't want to be named that we read in the forum was in fact your ex-boyfriend, is that true?"
Jessica is humming while thinking, then she smiles and just tilts her head.
"Well, I don't think I need to answer that and you can find the answer yourself if it's true or not but I can answer that he was close with me. I don't want to make any rumors or issues since you did your research which means you knew about the comments that the players posted in that thread. I don't want anyone to jump to a conclusion and blame him for something that's based on speculation. I don't want my fans to think bad about him because we both are in a good term and it's always been like that."
Chelsea is scoffing and snorting at her.
"Yeah sure, you were sucking some else's dick while you were in a relationship with him."
Emma is snorting and holding her laughter while William is looking at Chelsea with disbelief, confusion, and shock at the same time. William is tilting his head and raises his eyebrows.
"What do you mean by that, Ches?"
Chelsea is looking at William while furrowing her forehead.
"Wait, you don't know the story?"
William shakes his head.
"I don't know, nobody told me about it, all I know is that Jessica is Trevor's ex-girlfriend that's all."
Chelsea looks at me and I just stare at her while smiling, then Chelsea looks at William and shakes her head.
"Nah, you don't want to hear it, Will. It was painful and emotional to tell the story, so all you need to know is that Jessica cheated on him."
William is humming with understanding, and while we are listening to their conversation the interview is finished and I didn't hear the rest of them. The fashion show is starting and Emma immediately immerses with the show and Chelsea is also starting to pay attention to the show. I get up and go to the balcony for a smoke, but then William is following me to the balcony after he grabs a can of soda from the fridge. I look at him while rising my eyebrows.
"What's up?"
William is leaning on the rail and looking down while sighing.
"Can I ask for advice, Trev?"
I light my cigarette while squinting my eyes and staring at him, I puff the smoke and nod.
"Sure, what kind of advice do you want from me?"
William is scratching the back of his head while looking at me.
"I think I like Grisell, Trev. I don't know how to approach her and how to take her interest since she's too occupied with her own things and it's hard for me."
I look at him while leaning on the rail.
"I thought you have a crush on Emma, Will? What happened?"
William leans his head back while furrowing his forehead with shock.
"What? How do you know that?!"
I scoff and chuckle at him.
"You're that obvious about it, I think everyone knows about it as well but they're just not trying to confront you, and I can tell that from the moment we met for the first time at the apartment. You were all head over heels for her and we both knew that you were furious when she told you that she's moving to my house."
William is just laughing nervously at me, I chuckle and clear my throat.
"Anyway, back to your question. If you really want to approach Grisell I think you should do your best first to approach her, and I think you haven't done that either, correct? Honestly, I think it will be easy for you to attract her attention since you like to watch anime and medieval movies, and of course, you know so much about RPG fantasy games. I guess your knowledge about weapons and equipment is enough to start a conversation with her, maybe you should ask her about anything that you don't know. It's easier to gain someone's interest by asking something that they're good or love at. From that, once you know what interests her, you can do something that might impress her."
William looks unconvinced and then he tilts his head while furrowing his forehead.
"Do you think it will going to work?"
I smoke my cigarette and scoff.
"How do you know if it's going to work or not if you haven't tried it yet? The important thing in this matter is confidence, Will. It's okay if you're being shy but at least if you tried, they will appreciate your confidence. I believe some people prefer a shy person to a confident one, but there are so many underlines in that word itself so confidence can be anything."
William is humming and nodding with understanding, I look at him and nod up.
"But if you need my help, you know I can be your wingman, right? Don't be afraid to ask for someone's help because it will be the best way to approach someone that you like. Grisell might be a bit dense about this kind of thing since she's too immersed with the game and her hobby, so someone needs to make her realize that someone is interested in her."
William looks at me and raises his eyebrows.
"Wait, are you really want to help me if I ask for your help?"
I scoff and nod.
"Of course! I bet Mike and the others will help you out too if you tell them that. So there's no need to worry about it, we are going to support you, believe me."
William nods with excitement.
"Thank you, Trev."
I just nod and then suddenly Ivonna enters the room and standing in front of it, we are all looking at her holding and pointing at her phone.
"We need to log in to the game now, Aspen is making a move."
