Ivonna is staring at me with disbelief and she seems speechless because I told her that she just met with Heugron. She grabs my hand so tightly and points at the note she wrote during her prayer experience, she wants me to read it for her. I look at it and tilt my head, and I can't understand that language as well but I know this is an ancient language, it's the language that the Betelgeuse made to communicate with the creatures that the Belegeuse created. I use my [Understanding] skill and I can read what it says, but I don't want to tell her that for a specific reason.
"It's in an ancient language, and I can translate it to you but I don't want to."
Ivonna is looking at me and pouting.
"Then, is there anyone who can translate it for me?"
I look at her and nod.
"Yeah, the Legendary Heroes can translate it since they're fluent in that language. You should ask this matter to Saintess Eveth, and she will be very happy to translate it for you. For now, let's just focus on dealing with Alucard because I believe everyone is struggling right now handling him on their own."
Ivonna nods with understanding and the two of us run toward the entrance of the temple where Saintess Aria is waiting for us.
We are on our way to the entrance and we can see so many priests and priestesses are standing on the side while staring at us with a worried expression. We are slowing down and stop running while walking looking at our surroundings, and when we see the entrance, Saintess Aria and the archbishop with the cardinals are grouping up staring at the gemstone she received during the prayer. Saintess Aria turns her head and looks at us, we both approach her and look at the gemstone again because it looks so magnificent.
Saintess Aria smiles and nods at me.
"We are ready to go, Master Trevor."
I nod and I immediately open a portal for all of them, then both Ivonna and me get inside the portal first since we need to make sure if the surrounding is safe for them because Saintess Aria and the others can't defend themselves. As soon as we both get out from the portal, the village is covered with fire and it's so dark over there. We can only hear the sound of fire blazing and players are shouting and screaming. We both look at each other and it's getting worse over there and we should hurry and help Kingstar and the others. Ivonna decides to go there first because everyone is needing her more than I am.
Saintess Aria and the others are coming out from the portal, and all of them are trembling in fear. Saintess Aria walks to the front and stares at the village that's covered with fire, she's pressing her hands onto her chest while furrowing her forehead.
"In the name of Betelgeuse what is happening to the village?!"
I look at her and point at Alucard that's way bigger than the last time we saw it.
"That, Saintess, is Alucard the Abomination…"
Saintess Aria is shaking her head with disbelief because she finally believes that a being like Alucard does exist. Saintess Aria looks at me and grips the gemstone so tightly because that thing is the only thing that might be able to stop Alucard from bringing abomination to Orion.
"Master Trevor, let us go and do the ritual."
I nod and lead them all to the battlefield.
We enter the village and players are still coming out from the portals, Saintess Aria is immediately on her knees and followed by her followers. The gemstone in her hands is starting to react to her prayers, I look at Alucard and he's busy playing with Ivonna and the others. I ready my sickles and run toward Kingstar and the others, they see me running and they're all smiling with relief because they can no longer handle Alucard. I look at them and point at Saintess Aria and her followers at far behind us.
"Don't let a single subject or anything that can harm them approach them! They're our last hope!"
Kingstar and the others look at Saintess Aria and they're nodding with understanding. I look at Alucard and swing my sickles at him because I will be his opponent from now on.
Alucard blocks my sickles and immediately turns his head toward me, he smirks and leaps while pressing his hands together then slams it to the ground where I'm standing at. I dodge it but the ground is crumbling and I almost fall to the underground but I manage to get out from the area. I swing my sickle and it stuck onto his arm, I pull myself closer to him and grab his neck from behind. He tries to shake me off with his wing but my grip is too strong and his wing barely even touches me, he tries to grab the string on his neck but he can't since his finger is too big.
Everyone is waiting for the opening so they can attack him but his struggle is preventing them from getting close, and so they all can only watch from the distance. I'm already activating my [Dominion] skill but his stat is still higher than mine, and at this point, there's nothing I can do but to buy time for Saintess Aria until she finishes praying.
My hands are starting to hurt because I keep gripping the string so hard, and if I keep doing this, my [Vezolan's Gauntlets] will be damaged from the string. I try to loosen it up a bit and Alucard immediately grabs the string from my hand then throws me away. Alucard is so pissed at me that he throws my sickles away, I get up and pull my sickles back at me while the others use this opportunity to attack him.
Everyone is trying their best to land an attack on him but everyone fails miserably, even Ivonna can't hold off his attack anymore and her shield is already in a bad condition. She looks at her shield and puts it into her inventory then grabs another shield from it, if we keep doing like this then we will break every piece of equipment we brought with us, and to be honest it will cost a fortune to fix them all up.
Everyone is dying and Alucard is glaring at me furiously, he walks toward me and there's nothing I can do but to buy another time. A beam of light suddenly comes down from the sky, and it surprises Alucard, he looks in the direction the beam is going to and he realizes that a group of priests and priestesses are praying on the back. He looks so pissed and he immediately spread his wing and is about to fly off but I swing my sickle and manage to tangle the string on his leg. I try to pull him toward me but his massive strength is overpowering my strength and I'm getting dragged toward him instead.
Kingstar is pointing at me.
"Everyone! Grab Trevor's body and don't let Alucard approach the Saintess!"
Everyone runs toward me while putting their weapons into the inventory. Kingstar, Lothair, and Diamond are the first ones pulling my back then followed by the others. Even with our strength combined, we are still getting dragged by Alucard. I immediately call Azrael to my side and orders him to bite his other leg and pull him downward, Ivonna is also calling Aegis to her side then walks to the front while pushing us all using her head.
We manage to stop him but Alucard is beating Azrael up with his claws, and I really hate to see my companion be treated like that. If only I still have my [Frenzy] skill, I might be able to stop him without Azael's help, but I used it and my [Reawakening] skill while handling Avriel and all of my skills are still on cooldown. I pull the string with all my might and I can feel Kingstar, Diamond, and Lothair's hands and arms are trembling because they're also doing everything they got.
Azrael falls to the ground because he took a lot of damage and can no longer endure them. We are slowly getting dragged by Alucard, we are all screaming and groaning that enough to make the veins in our neck pop. The beam of light is getting brighter and brighter, I can feel that Alucard is using all his strength to fly over there and we can't stop him anymore, only slowing him down. Suddenly a shadow appears from the ground and flies toward Alucard, I look up, and there she is, she's finally awake.
Avriel is kneeing Alucard's chest and stabs her daggers onto his neck but her weapon breaks as soon as the blade hits his skin. Avriel throws her daggers away and looks at the string on his leg, Avriel looks at us and smirks then jumps down and swing toward us using the string. She lands in front of me and she immediately grabs the string and pulls it with everything she has.
Alucard is stopping and looking down at us, he grits his teeth and flies toward us. We all fall down to the ground and I don't think everyone will be able to live if he's planning to attack all of us. Everyone is closing their eyes and accepting their death, but then a bright light is coming toward us, and even though they're all closing their eyes, the light is still blinding them. We can hear a loud scream and growl coming from in front of us and everyone is slowly opening their eyes. They're all smiling because Alucard is in pain because of the light, and we just realize that someone is walking toward us.
Saintess Aria is opening her hands and the gemstone is the source of the blinding light that hurts Alucard. Saintess Aria is staring at Alucard with disgust while slowly walking toward him.
"Begone you demon!"
